• Philip (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment in excellent location, perfect for my purposes, close to train, bus, subway, just all-around lovely experience - also good restaurants and an exceptional pastry shop just a short walk away. Italy seems to run on Whatsapp these days, so if you don't have a phone or have an older one, make sure you work out the details first. I managed to do so by arrival time and from then on everything was just fine.

• Alex (9/5): A beautiful, spacious apartment right next to Porta Nuova station - I loved the fact that it was a traditional Italian apartment with high ceilings and wooden furniture; it felt very spacious. The apartment was very clean and the bed was huge. Located right near the station with easy access (20 minutes maximum) to the historical centre. The host was very helpful and responsive. Not a fault of the hosts at all (as this is an old apartment with, I’m sure, certain building restrictions in place): The single glazing meant that the apartment wasn’t very soundproofed at all, and it’s located right next to a couple of busy roads with old trams going past from 04:30. Earplugs are needed!
• Adrianne (8/5): Great location! - Great location (5 minute walk from the train station, Porta Nuova) and it met expectations/as pictured in the listing. Alessandro was kind enough to allow for early check in as the apartment was ready which we very much appreciated. Most things to see were probably about a 15 minute walk from the apartment but there were tons of public transport options nearby (buses, trams and the metro right at the train station). There were also a couple of grocery stores nearby and a great caffe (Caffe Platti) to experience the famous 'caffe culture'! The lack of outlets was a minor inconvenience but likely could be easily solved with a power strip here and there.
