Guest Reviews
- mustafa (6/5): - The owners were very pleasant and very accommodating. The garden needs tidying
Not use a toilet freshener that could block the toilet.
The window latches was very dusty
Deep clean window seal
- Carol M (10/5): - This is our third stay in Annabel and Daryl's home and when staying in Norwich would not consider staying elsewhere.
Nothing is too much trouble for them and their response time to questions is excellent.
- deka (8/5): Clean n big property. Very helpful owners. - The property is big and well maintained. Presence of dishwasher made my stay more comfortable. Owners are very very supportive n helpful. We had a bit of a problem with the shower and I understand mechanical things tend to malfunction suddenly but what I liked is that the owners sent someone within 10 minutes and the problem resolved within 2 hours. I have never seen such prompt action and we were very happy. Still they sent some gifts to apologise which wasn’t necessary at all. But we appreciate the thoughtfulness. Thank you so much Annabel & Daryl. We would definitely like to stay again. The only problem was the creaking floorboards but then it’s a worldwide problem with wooden floorings i guess.

- Charlene (10/5): Excellent property, has all you could need. - The property was very well presented. It gave a real homely feel and had everything you could need. Very close to Norwich city centre. The hosts kept us well informed throughout the whole process, including informing us of a slight issue the cleaners had found on the day of arrival but had no impact on our stay and we were grateful that we were pre warned. The only negative about the property is the parking. On the first night we parked outside the back gate, but the next few times we had to park near other peoples houses which was a little intimidating.
- Abosede (10/5): Great location, clean and would come again! - It was perfectly located near the Showground and the house was clean and comfortable.
The hosts were amazing and answered all my questions throughout my stay. Nothing. It was great for what we needed and we will be coming again next year.
- Stephanie (10/5): Fabulous house for visiting Norwich and surroundings. - Very well equipped, clean and a great location. Great communication with the owners. Nothing
- Carol (9/5): Great stay - The location is perfect.
Annabel is the perfect host, she was very accommodating to our requests. We will definitely stay again Nothing it was all great
- Becky (9/5): Great weekend stay - The house was great. Had everything we needed for the weekend. The only issue was parking was difficult as not many spaces available
- Carol (9/5): Lovely half-term break - The house is in a perfect location for us to visit our daughter at University, the beds were very comfortable and the house was really clean. The green area across the road was perfect for a morning walk with the dog
We would definitely stay again, but you don't accept dogs now Nothing
- Xitm (10/5): A very central and welcoming stay. - Nice and clean house, comfy beds, very nice host and some complimentary biscuits. What more could you ask for. Nothing
- Colin (7/5): Good -
- Claire (7/5): We had a lovely week in Norfolk - Annabel was a great host and easy to contact when we needed to; the bathroom could do - The property is very pleasant and light, with lovely ceiling fans in every room which helped with the hot weather! The owners have equipped the house really well, with very good equipment in the kitchen - especially the brilliant coffee machine. They even provided some milk and pods, as well as cookies, for our arrival which was very welcome. The beds are comfortable and the lounge is bigger and nicer than it looks in the photos, as is the kitchen; we enjoyed having our meals around the table. The use of a downstairs toilet was also fab! The garden was pleasant, and we found the washing line useful. Unfortunately, we had some issues with the bathroom upstairs - when using the shower, if it wasn’t held in a specific position it would leak through the ceiling downstairs - and the bath didn’t feel hugely secure. We reported this to the owners at the time, who promptly called a plumber to try and sort it, although they weren’t able to do this at the time of our stay.
- Rachel (9/5): We had a great stay and would definitely recommend - Fantastic property very well
maintained with excellent facilities
Tea, coffee and milk was a lovely touch.
Very comfy beds and good size rooms Only feedback was took us a while to work out where to turn the shower on but worked it out eventually. Maybe for future guests you could leave some instructions with how things work.
