• Stefanie (10/5): - Super schöne Unterkunft mit toller Lage in der Nähe vom Meer. Tolle Lokale Restaurants und Bars sind unmittelbar in der Nähe. Wir haben etwas vergessen und sie haben es uns dies nach Stown Town gebracht. Vielen Dank! :-) Gar nichts.

• ALIEV (10/5): - Alles...eine schöne kleine Anlage mit nur 6 Bungalows,die sehr gut ausgestattet sind mit allem was man braucht.Die Lage ist auch sehr gut,nicht weit weg vom Strand entfernet und nah zu verschiedenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Das Personal is sehr nett und aufmerksam.Ich habe mich wie Zuhause gefühlt.Werde sicher wieder kommen. Alles war top😊
• Noémie (8/5): entspannend, ruhig, KEIN RESTAURANT im Hotel und auch kein Supermarkt in der Nähe - Die Hotelanlage war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Auch das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat kein Restaurant. Dies muss DRINGEND auf der Internetseite stehen, so dass man es direkt lesen kann. Ich bin eine junge Frau und musste dann aus dem Hotel in einem sehr kleinen und ranzigen ,,Supermarkt‘‘ etwas kaufen. Ich habe mich dann drei Tage von Pasta und Toastbrot ernährt. Auch wenn ich draussen rumgelaufen bin habe ich mich eher unsicher gefühlt.

• Doni (10/5): Ruhiger Rückzugsort zum entspannen - Wir waren nur 1 Nacht dort und durften schon früher einchecken 😀 sowie nach dem Check-out noch den Poolbereich nutzen. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Ausstattung ist top und viele kleine Details wie z.b. eine handgefertigte Strandtasche, Regenschirm und Bademäntel waren auch verfügbar. Ganz besonders der Poolbereich und die Pflanzen drumherum haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Nähe zum Strand und Cafés und Restaurants ist gegeben. Asante Sana Der Boden zwischen Poolbereich zu den Villas könnte man mit Trittsteinen ausstatten, dann tut es beim Barfuß gehen nicht so weh. Die kleinen Steine sind spitz. Und die Matratze ist etwas hart aber für eine Nacht war es keine große Sache.

• Timo (10/5): - We stayed for 2 weeks at the seaview bungalow and our holidays were simply magic. What you see on the pictures is what you get and even more. The staff is very kindly and helpful. The place is very private with beautiful pool and access to the beach. We did explore the whole island by motorbikes and always felt safe and welcome wherever we went. Jambiani offers plenty of really good restaurants with very local food (fresh fish) but also european food. A 10 mins. drive away is Pejà, a bit bigger and busier then Jambiani with even more activities and more restaurants and some smaller shops. We are leaving with some tears in our eyes as we loved every single moment of our holiday.
• Charlotte (10/5): Très bien je recommande - L’équipement, le personnel, la beauté du cadre, l’endroit est paisible, la propreté et modernité, le détail de la deco et de l’équipement (petit peignoir en wax local à disposition avec des serviettes de plage et panier, parapluie, huile, vinaigre… ) Parfois reveillé par les coqs et le lit est trop ferme. Il manque des transats pour se reposer au bord de la piscine. Ça aurait été intéressant d’avoir le petit déjeuner aussi.
• Capitani (10/5): Spettacolare - Struttura pulitissima, in una posizione a pochi metri dalla spiaggia. La casa era attrezzata con tutto il necessario e la piscina ben tenuta. Lo staff si è dimostrato molto gentile e disponibile. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Consigliatissima.

• Fran (10/5): Wonderful, peaceful idyllic escape with the best pool ever! - Brilliant stay - the property is amazing! The swimming pool is the real star - feels just like swimming in a river, perfect for somebody like me who feels like a fish in a bowl in every other square pool. The room was wonderful, so clean and spacious. Had no issues at all with mosquitoes and a great net is provided. Internet worked brilliantly all through the property. Staff are so friendly and make you feel at home - for us they went above and beyond letting us have early check in, store our bags after check out, and even celebrate a birthday. Absolutely peaceful, idyllic place and so so close to the beach (just minutes away). Please stay here.

• Ethan (9/5): Brillant stay - The facilities at the property were excellent, the pool was amazing and looks much better than on the photos! The staff were also incredible, very friendly and the cleaners were amazing. It was an amazing place to relax and see Zanzibar. The location is slightly out of the way from the main towns and restaurants. There are still plenty of options within walking distance. But we had a car and would definitely recommend that for visiting further afield.
• Didier (10/5): - J ai adoré l'accueil, l'appartement m'a tout de suite donné une belle impression mais aussi le cadre avec la végétation et la piscine qui est très agréable. L'appartement est tres bien décoré, avec un joli design mais aussi tres spacieux. Très bien équipé et la cuisine est parfaite selon ce que l on souhaite faire. Aucun problème avec le fait qu il n y a pas de service pour les repas. Car j ai trouvé tout ce qu il fallait a quelques mètres, autant pour acheter des fruits, de l eau, mais aussi prendre un petit déjeuner ou les repas. La plage de Jambiani est a quelques mètres et vraiment tres agréable. Il y a les marées mais cela ne m a pas dérangé pour profiter de la plage ou la piscine pendant la marée basse. L équipe de Bila Residence a ete vraiment super et adorable. L appartement etait toujours très propre. Et j ai apprécié la sécurité et les discussions toujours avec le sourire. Je recommande vraiment pour le côté tres authentique de Jambiani. J ai beaucoup moins aimé le nord de Zanzibar. Alors Bila Residence et Jambiani est vraiment une excellente option. Rien -

Inoltre è presente un patio con vista piscina dove poter mangiare e rilassarsi. Il lunedì nelle vicinanze è presente una discoteca con musica molto alta fino alle 4 di notte e non avendo vetri le finestre si sente tutto impedendo il sonno

• Maxim (10/5): Just book it ✔ - Bila translates to 'without' and with my villa's name.. my stay was indeed 'without stress'. I love this place and would prefer not write anymore so I can be sure of availability next time but the effort and beauty of its architectural design, and all else detailed in my full review below persuaded me otherwise. If you are reading this with 10 tabs open, you can close them now. The people that work here are warm, welcoming and have made my stay more comfortable and convenient than I thought possible. From the booking flexibility with it's speed and patient replies to my repeated extension requests to the night time security guard to the cleaning ladies who made my villa feel like my home and me somewhat like royalty. The place itself... wow. the swimming pool is a masterpiece... attention to detail in every room.. from the art, to the umbrella and wicker basket.. the former I used only once as a dancing prop, the latter to collect my fresh fruit from the shop next door... AC, fan, generator (kicks in quick) everything needed to cook the basics, and is even stocked with salt, oil etc. none of which I expected prior. Didn't realise I loved a high ceiling, do now. And of course the reception staff and I while I can just about pronounce each name of the local staff (local being a detail worth mentioning) I'm not going to butcher the spelling but to management consider them all named as I have every intention of returning and they have made it so.. European plug sockets - kwanini hapa?

• Carolyne (9/5): A quiet beachside retreat - Our room was a pure delight, from the layout, the lovely kitchen and living area and the outdoor terrace, everything synced together perfectly to create the perfect retreat space. The swimming pool gets all the credit, it not often that you have a swimming pool right outside your door with the non boxy layout. We swam two to three times a day and it was perfect. The walk to the beach is about 2 to 3 minutes. We loved meeting the villagers and buying food items from their kiosks which was much cheaper than the supermarkets. There are several restaurants next two and within 10 minutes of the accomodation and so finding dinner options was quiet easy. Its also only a 15 minute tuk tuk or taxi ride to Paje. The manager Fatima and her team were helpful in getting us settled in. I loved that they clean the room everyday at your convinience and to top it off the place has 24 hour security. You will love it

Even a first aid kit in the room which not many have, super handy. The property managers are very accommodating and despite the wifi issue (provider problem) they went the extra mile of helping me with another router connection. Lots of storage in the room as well.

• Julija (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is new and exactly as shown in the pictures. The staff is very friendly, and they clean the room every day. This was our best stay in Zanzibar. We stayed here at the beginning of our holiday, and because it was so wonderful, we booked it again for the end of our trip. We highly recommend this place!

The Residence is a short walk tobthe beach and is set in a quiet and friendly village by the ocean. We will definitely come back here very soon. We absolutely loved it
• Becca (8/5): Wonderful property with very poor management. - The location. The property itself. All perfect and new. The manager in charge (the receptionist) is not trained to be able to perform at the appropriate level for customer service. To mention a few events, she did not take action when the power was out for more than 5 hours during one evening, and also when internet was down. She simply took time (hours of telling us she was going to call someone for assistance to solve the problem) only to then suggest that the problem would be solved ‘maybe tomorrow’. The result is that we spent one evening without electricity when it was 32 degrees out (and hence also water) and New Year’s Eve without internet (which is a problem when you travel). She also threw away a prescription pill I had on top of the medicine package, on the counter while cleaning. My partner and I both travel extensively and we understand the challenges of working in hospitality, but these were some dramatic downfalls (that could easily be avoided) to an otherwise wonderful stay. We suggest you offer her the needed training or make sure to hand over responsibilities to other members of staff who were better suited for customer service competency.

The place is less than one minute from the beach, and the rooms are clean and well-kept; the pool that is shaped like a river makes the place even more original in its style. When you are at Bila, you feel a sense of peace and relaxation, and honestly, it just feels like home. A big thank you to the staff for the amazing stay. Would 100% recommend for couples.
