Guest Reviews
- Jasmina (9/5): Superb - Great view from terrace over Trieste. Very nice accommodation. It has everything you need. In the evening it was challenging to find parking. Do not follow navigation if you are going from the city, streets are very steep and narrow, use the road next to the botanical garden.
- Arthur (10/5): Exceptional - A particularly homely apartment on the hillside, with a large terrace and garden, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view towards the sea and a gorgeous sunset.
The furnishings are traditional and decorated with a lot of unique fittings.
Although we were a little confused in finding the place, the owner was very kind and helpful, guiding us.
I would love to return for a longer trip.
P. S. do not forget to explore the garden below the terrace Semmi.
- Jelena (7/5): Good -
- Stefan (9/5): Superb -
- Kirill (10/5): One of the best accommodation we ever had. - Fantastic apartments with stunning terrace and view. FYI It was quite easy to find a parking spot down the street.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Olga (7/5): Value for money - Truly authentic Italian vintage style home. Retro wooden furniture. Window from kitchen to living room. Solid wooden window shutters.
Kind and pleasant grandpa owner. Quiet location in typical Italian neighbourhood.
Amazing panoramic view from terrace - overlooking Trieste, sea and seagulls. Spacious terrace for quiet breakfasts with view. The house inside is price for money.
Too many personal items of previous owner(s) including boxes of belongings, photos and religious symbols on the walls.
Smell of incense sticks, especially in the bedroom, which open windows would not solve.
Shower slowly takes water away.
The locker on main door requires immediate change - to avoid necessity of standing on the street at midnight when the door would not open.
Slow internet (WiFi we did not try).
Hosts make photos of your docs.
Location on the hill requires skills to drive and park - Google led us once through a side street which was almost vertical and barely accommodated one car.
- Antonio (8/5): Very good - Easy keys handover. Inviting landlord.
- Amy (8/5): Homely house on the hillside - Homely, lots of things in kitchen & bathroom, well stocked. Beautiful terrace with amazing view. Close to bus stop. The owner was really helpful. Spacious. The terrace door didn’t lock so we felt a little unsafe as three girls. There were a lot of personal possessions out like some things could be cleared away for other guests. Gas in kitchen kept cutting off when cooking.
- Réka (8/5): Very good -
- Rebeka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronja (8/5): Very beautiful view and very “homey” - Very comfortable and cozy The stovetop and refrigerator did unfortunately not really work
- Sreten (9/5): Superb - Everything was fine, the host, the appartment, all fine. For us, having business in the city center it was very far. But if you use a car, no problem. You also have busses (by 21h). But it is hard to walk, especially coming back because it is very steep.
