• Alberto (5/5): - A localização é boa.propriamente no centro da cidade.tudo muito perto.restsurantes,supermercados,cinemas etc. A sala de dormir é demasiado pequena para a quantidade de camas A entrada para as camas em forma de caixote é demasiada estreita, muita dificuldade em entrar e ainda mais ao sair, não dá para se sentar na cama.Os cacifos são muito pequenos, não há lugar para pousar a bagagem,malas no chão por todo o lado, o que dificulta a passagem .toalha para tomar banho muito pequena .Durante a minha estadia não havia serviço de refeições.

• Tomasz (5/5): Clean and nice but not really a hostel. - Location, pods, cleanliness, staff, towels included in the price 1. No 220V socket in pods - usb only. It’s impossible to charge laptops. 2. On the first floor there are only two sockets that can be used for charging laptops. They are located in one corner so if two people want to charge and use their laptops at the same time it’s not possible. 3. No common area with apace for work. 4. No shelves or hangers in the bathroom and in the showers. There is nowhere to put away your clothes or toiletries. 5. No kitchenette- if you want to heat your ready meal it’s not possible. No coffee/tea corner.

• Miriam (8/5): Schöner Aufenthalt - mit Luft nach oben - Freundlich-sympathischer Check-in der super engagierten Mitarbeiterin. Wirklich extrem saubere Zimmer und unfassbar moderne Badezimmer/Duschen/WCs. Insgesamt unschlagbare Lage und tolles Hostel-Konzept. Ich hätte mir in einigen Bereichen - im Vorfeld und während unseres Aufenthaltes - deutlich mehr Transparenz gewünscht: Bar, Restaurant und der Außenbereich des Hostels waren geschlossen. Wir haben nur anhand von Rezensionen erfahren, dass das Hostel im März Insolvenz angemeldet hat und von einem neuen Betreiber - Kumo Hostels - übernommen worden ist. Dies erklärt vermutlich den "Notbetrieb" und die Tatsache, dass es keine wirkliche Möglichkeit gab, sich im Hostel außerhalb des Zimmers gut aufzuhalten. In unserem female dorm, den ich - aus Gründen - ganz bewusst gebucht hatte, checkte in der zweiten Nacht ein Mann ein. Für mich ein absolutes No-Go. Ferner waren in der zweiten Nacht größere Gruppen an Junggesellenabschieden im Hostel, die laut der AGB des Hostels nicht erlaubt sein sollten. Spätestens ab da war war es vorbei mit der Ruhe - so auch im female dorm.

• Manja (7/5): - Het ontvangst. Dat was vrij laat, maar ik voelde me veilig. Opeens was er geen ontbijt volgens de persoon bij wie ik uitcheckte. Daar had ik wel op gerekend en dat stond ook op de website.
• Lotte (6/5): Bit pricy for what you get - Location is central and easy to access. Staff is kind. Bathrooms looked good, but didnt use the showers. Very dusty. Pillow and bed weren't comfortable (pillow is way too soft and large). Towels are on the small side. No EU plug in pod, only usb A and C.

• Diaz Maguiña (8/5): - De simpliciteit van de hostel. Je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt om je verblijf goed door te maken. Andere gasten die te laat midden in de nacht binnenkwamen en lekker met elkaar gingen praten en grapjes maken, terwijl anderen nog in slaap waren. Dat was onprettig.
• E. (6/5): - Beddengoed en handdoeken inbegrepen. De locatie. De kluisjes. De cocon was erg warm. Het licht bleef de hele nacht aan. Zitten in de cocon ging net niet, mogelijk door het hoge matras.

• Pleun (8/5): Schoon hostel op een goede locatie! - Een schoon hostel! Door de aparte hokjes heb je niet het idee dat je met veel mensen op een zaal ligt. Er is geen gezamenlijke ruimte om overdag of in de avond te zitten met je eigen eten of drinken.
• Doreen (8/5): - Die Lage für mein Vorhaben ins Vera zu gehen war optimal.Man muss nur kurz die Straßenseite wechseln.Es war sauber und das Bett bequem. Es gab nach 23 leider keine Cocktails mehr.Ruhestörung 2 Uhr nachts von Heimkehrern.Auch betrunken kann man leise sein.
• Kieran (6/5): - Having to make my own bed yourself, not something you want to do when tired and want to crash out. Other hostels at this price did not require you do that. It is required to make your bed otherwise you will be charged €100 or so you're told which I wish I knew beforehand. There was a ironic in that been told to make your bed and yet the mattress had a big red (but not blood) stain near the top. Shower also had no ledge or area to put your clean clothes / stuff and if you put it in the floor far away from the shower it would still get wet.

• Mario (10/5): Wonderful hostel - Clean, quiet, comfortable. It's not the cheapest in the world but it's the cheapest place in Groningen and it offers everything it needs to. Great location, friendly staff, and the owner obviously cares about the place. I was here for 10 nights and I literally can't complain about anything. The coccoons are just large enough to be comfortable and you even have privacy when you close the curtain! I mean the last hostel I went to had bunk beds hahah, this is great. Great place to stay if you wanna visit, for sure it will be even better when their bar (and hopefully back terrace) opens for customers. Don't listen to the negative reviews I have no idea what they are talking about. The bar and backyard happened to be closed while I was here but they said they would open next month. Other than that I had no negative experiences.

• Kerstin (3/5): Way too expensive for too little to offer - The hygiene was good. I paid 60 e per night for a 30-people-dormitory. The „cocoons“ don‘t make a difference to that, they are no better than regular beds with curtains. I can only think of huts in the Alps that charge so much for a spot in big shared rooms and that’s because they need to transport their whole equipment by helicopter. The airconditioning in the whole building was horrendously cold and they said they could not change that. Ofc, the windows are not operable, either. You cannot store your backpack safely outside the room. The hostel does not have any cozy shared spaces to get to know other guests and when I was there, even the restaurant was closed. It is by all means good enough to pass by for one night but that‘s it.

Pas de resto pas de frigo , pas de micro-ondes. Pas des prises électriques à côté de lit. Trop bruyant. Pas isolé et les autres touristes faisait trop de bruit

• Dorothe (7/5): Redelijk - Netjes, hygiëne in orde. Erg jammer dat er geen ontbijt mogelijk was en niets te koop was aan de bar. Was op de fiets en ook geen stalling hiervoor. Dit in overleg wel goed op kunnen lossen.
• Marie Janet (1/5): PJ's niet boeken, is failliet. - Niks Alles, want PJ is failliet, er stond alleen een vervanger aan de receptie en verder was zowel de bar/restaurant gesloten.. ze waren al een maand failliet, maar ik heb pas een week geleden geboekt. Begrijp echt niet dat booking hier nog geen melding van had gekregen. Ik kon er slapen, maar zou dan hoogstwaarschijnlijk bijna de enige zijn geweest. Faciliteiten waar ik ook voor geboekt had waren er helemaal niet. En daar sta je dan met een grote tas.

• Paul (10/5): Perfecte keuze als je tegen laag tarief veilig wilt overnachten! - Perfecte oplossing om voor een laag tarief te kunnen overnachten in de binnenstad van Groningen. Ik was positief verrast door de nette en hygiënische faciliteiten. Ik zou er graag weer gebruik van maken bij een volgend bezoek. Het restaurant van PJS heb ik niet bezocht om te eten, waar ik spijt van heb. Wat zag dit er ook mooi en sfeervol uit. Ik ga hier naar terug ! Er is mij niet iets slecht bevallen.

• Luis (10/5): - Sehr chices Hostel. Warme Schlafkapseln, da das Holz isoliert. Die Bäder waren brandneu im 1960er Jahre retro Stil, was mir besonders gut gefiel. Einzig und allein ein an der Wand montierter Föhn hat mir gefehlt.
