• GUSTAVO HERNAN (6/5): - el departamento es comodo, pero ubicado en un barrio no muy agradable. la llegada no fue facil. Deberian advertir sobre el barrio. Finalmente, todo ok y el lugar es espacioso. Bien para una noche solo estuvimos algunas horas para tomar un vuelo muy temprano la zona. no es agradable para desplazarse
• hans (7/5): Mooi en ruim appartement, 2 x toilet en alles mooi opgeknapt. - Ruim appartement, je kon lopend naar het mooie centrum lopen. Het ontbijt had misschien iets uitgebreider gekund, alles stond al klaar, verpakt in plastic en sap, boter en melk in de koelkast. De locatie was in een iets mindere buurt, maar het centrum was wel goed aan te lopen. Het sleutelkastje lag op de grond en het was wat onduidelijk waar je aan moest bellen bij aankomst.
• frunzeanu (9/5): Recomand - Apartament spațios și curat, foarte aproape de centrul Cataniei, situat langa Poarta Garibaldi. Locația e dotată cu doua bai din care una are dus, lucru f bun când sunt mai multe persoane cazate. Am găsit parcare fara taxă în zona. Apartamentul fiind poziționat central, noaptea era foarte mult zgomot.

That’s why: 1/ It’s 10-15 minutes from the Catania airport 2/ There’s a free parking in 50m distance and we always found a place for our rent-a-car 3/ The apartment is 20 minutes walk downtown and it’s perfect for people who want to achieve their “steps goal” 4/ There’s a pharmacy in 100m distance (hopefully you dont need it but it’s convenient) 5/ There’s a bakery in 100m distance (across the pharmacy) where you can find delicious salt and sweet pastries (try their filled croissants with pistachio creme 10/10) 6/ There’s a small supermarket in 200m distance, so you can buy anything all necessaries for your stay 7/ There’s a small gas station in 100m distance if you need to refill because of too much driving 8/ You can treat yourself with a good coffee inside the apartment thanks to the host 9/ Everything works as promised. There were none broken stuff that can annoy you. I would totally recommend this place if you want to have a great time in Catania. >>> Some recommendations to all travelers: 1/ Use TripAdvisor to find the best place to eat. Some of them offers 10-20% discount if you book a table via the app. 2/ Prepare yourself for drivers (cars and motors) that don’t care about pedestrians or other cars on the road. Drive carefully! 3/ Catania is a great city but has big problems with the trash management (they don’t have bins and residents leave the trash on the street). So brace yourself for some cultural shock if you are used to (or entitled to) clean streets, and don’t judge residents - it’s not their fault after all. 4/ Taormina was the best! We were speechless of the beauty. You can spend the full day there and not going to Etna. It might be a bit stretched if you try to do both in one day. 5/ Get some cash for toll points outside the city. Everything was perfect. I have only 2 small recommendations that can level up the experience: 1/ one is to get some hotel slippers for each guest. We forgot to get ours and we couldn’t find a place to buy near the apartment. This is something small but will complete the experience. 2/ you can add one complementary bottle of water at arrival. This is also a good way for guest refreshments after a flight and before finding the supermarket. The coffee compliment was perfect! Thanks :)

• Erika (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment has been completely remodeled and is beautiful. Bathroom and beds were clean. The kitchen was stocked and we were able to cook dinner there one night. We had a few small problems (lost power and hot water) and both time they responded within 10 minutes to solve the problem. There was some street noise you can hear. Most nights it stopped by 10-11Pm and was quiet the rest of the night.
