SueKenny (8/5): Other than lack of a decent desk (made do with the little round table) - the stay was excellent - Great bed. Good shower. Lovely staff at front desk, bistro, cafe. Very accommodating. the tiny little side table-desk (??), bedside table. i,e, no desk to work from. Room and ensuite was very small.

Christine (6/5): Would not chose to stay here again. - I like the way it was renovated especially the tiny bathroom. Attached to a welcoming pub. Good meals there. Room was very small. No mat to wipe dirty boots on so dirt got onto the floors and made it unpleasant to walk on. There was a problem with the plumbing and without any notice the water was turned off before we could shower in the morning. Plumbers took over the walkway near our room so we had to wheel luggage over wet grass to our car. There was only one flat pillow for each of us on the bed. TV was difficult to operate.

John (4/5): Never Stop There Again - Nothing except the meals at the hotel were satisfactory. Rooms were not clean, lacked facilities ie no chairs or table in room. Balcony had not been cleaned for some time evidenced by the amount of cobwebs & leaves from the trees. Rooms were very dark and the few windows either couldn't be opened or locked fly wire to prevent insects entering.

Sarann (10/5): - Beautifully renovated rooms, clean and family friendly. We travelled with two young children, and it was perfect. Onsite cafe which opens early, and a bistro/pub but I’m not sure on the opening hours. The food was good, lovely dining area set up with fireplaces, which keep it nice and warm. ( if travelling in winter or during cold weather) They have a pool and plenty of parking. A short distance up the road is a petrol station, which you can hire snow chains and has also a little convenient store. Overall a great place to stay overnight or a few nights to rest, recover and relax.

Jeremy (2/5): - This place was a total disappointment. I booked it during school holidays in summer because it had a pool and I promised my kids. It was the highlight of the trip, or meant to be. The pool wasn’t working and was absolutely filthy with pond scum etc. I asked how long it was out of order for and the staff said only a few weeks but that is not true. It’s been out of order for closer to two years as there are older photos available online and the pool looked like that. False advertising. Also a man was really aggressive through the walls shouting and making a massive scene. I would only stay here if desperate, look into other options. Do not recommend.

The hotel bistro is quite relaxed with good food etc. Eat in or take away. *No complimentary tissues in room. *Having to drive into Corryong every morning (24km) for breakfast. As there were no bowls and cutlery to at least have cereal in the rooms. Or note to BYO. *Stairwells poorly lit at night *no external light to see room number on door at night. *no information sheet in rooms . After hours emergency numbers. Police. Evacuation plan , opening hours of general store and petrol station, taxi number and or app. WiFi password, * no clear instruction on where/how to pick up or drop off key as there is no signage to reception. * would prefer access to normal TV stations simply. Not channels never heard of. Without needing a

Davidos (10/5): Amazing location, great food next door and peaceful - Excellent location, and great price. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was a great spot to stay and then head out and explore the local area. We would highly recommended, and stay again. The sports bar menu was delicious. I would suggest that you have a quick key drop box somewhere as we had to wait for the sports bar to open to give back the key vs wanting to get on the road early in the morning.

Prudence (10/5): Lovely hidden little gem, family friendly and reasonably priced. - Property was exactly what it looked like online. Rooms were clean and updated and the pub next door had great meals and friendly staff. The pillows were to hard. We went with a large group and all agreed, so take your own pillows. The pool also wasn’t working which was a shame.

Lisa (1/5): Awful, but luckily it was an overnight pit stop on a long journey, not a holiday. - The staff were very helpful The room stank of some kind of synthetic glue or plastic or other synthetic toxic compound making me feel nauseous. The windows in the bedroom don't open so the only way to get enough fresh air to be able to breathe through the night was to prop the front door open. The room had as much charm as an interrogation cell, complete with glaring bright lights. I gelt very uncomfortable for the entire stay and couldn't wait to leave.

After some discussions & phone calls we were finally given a bigger room. Even though the website said food was available the restaurant was not open for breakfast or there was not even any available to buy. Pool was not available as pump broken. Address said Alpine Way, but office around the corner & no sign to indicate how to find it. Office unattended in the morning & no box to leave key. Staff were backpackers & were nice kids but really need to know more information about their workplace. Very dissappointed with this motel.

Paul (7/5): Nice place modern clean room. - Room was modern and very clean. Good aircon. No table or chair which meant the only place you can sit was on the bed. I had some work to do so that was rather awkward and unpleasant. Perhaps a narrow desk and small chair? Also there is a jug but no nearby place to plug it in. You had to put it on the bathroom basin (awkward and probably dangerous) or beside the bed across from the cupboard. The wifi didn't appear to be working - I couldn't find a network - and also the pool, which I was looking forward to (it was in the mid 30s) was a strange green colour (the filter apparently wasn't working). That said the room was actually nice - modern, clean, good bathroom and a great TV with lots of free content. It was actually a nice place with friendly staff. I will come again and hope there is a desk then.

The pillows on the bed were not comfortable for me. They were foam and did not give enough. I used an inflatable pillow from my camping gear.
