• laura (10/5): - L'appartamento è proprio sopra il mercato del pesce (ma non è affatto rumoroso), quindi è facilissimo raggiungere a piedi ogni punto del centro storico. Le stanze sono grandi e molto carine. Tutto ben pulito. Il proprietario è davvero disponibile e gentile.

• marcellinus (10/5): Klassiek en luxe apartement aan beroemde vismarkt in drukke stadscentrum - Dichter bij het echte Sicilië kun je niet komen dan in dit luxe appartement. Het ligt direct aan de beroemde oude vismarkt in het hart van Catania. Je kijkt ook uit over de even beroemde fontein aan de rand van het Domplein. Je hebt dus echt alle bezienswaardigheden van de stad bij de hand. Het appartement in een klassiek, historisch gebouw is uitzonderlijk groot, perfect onderhouden en modern ingericht. Aan de lange gang is de comfortabele badkamer met grote goedwerkende douche. De woonkamer is gecombineerd met een goed ingerichte keuken, incl. magnetron. Schitterend uitzicht over de vismarkt direct onder je raam met klein balkon. Uitstekende airco en wifi. Ruime slaapkamers, ook met airco en balkon. Er is nog een kleine verdieping met een wasmachine. De halte van de bus van/naar de luchthaven is vlakbij. Uitstekende communicatie met zeer hulpvaardige en vriendelijke host Marco. Waar de host niets aan kan doen is dat in een deel van de woning permanent een duidelijke bromtoon te horen is, afkomstig van buiten het appartement. In mijn slaapkamer was het gelukkig niet te horen. Ook van buitenaf is geluid te horen, zoals vanaf 's morgens vroeg tot het eind van ochtend het opbouwen van de marktkramen en de luide stemmen van de visverkopers die hun waren aanprijzen. Op het Domplein zijn 's avonds af en toe goed hoorbare live muziekoptredens. Voor gasten die voor geluiden gevoelig zijn, kan Ohropax raadzaam zijn.

Stanze grandi, letto comodissimo e una particolare attenzione nella fornitura di prodotti per la colazione, acqua e bevande fresche. Ci siamo sentir davvero coccolati. Ci è piaciuto tutto.

Apartament situat la doi pasi de centru,situat chiar in piata de peste unde in fiecare zi se vinde peste,carne,legume,fructe,mirodenii,toate proaspete si cu preturi foarte acceptabile.Apartamentul foarte curat,dotat cu ce ai nevoie pentru un sejur ca acasa. • murone (10/5): - Marco was hospitable and courteous on arrival. He explained the facilities in the apartment and things to do in Catania. The apartment is super ckean and spacious with all facilities for a short stay. The apartment overlooks the Pescaria which is lively morning and night, the duomo and Via steam just around the corner. Very exciting trip, area also close to transport hubs.
• Rafal (10/5): Mega lokalizacja. Czysto. Polecam! - Świetna lokalizacja, tuż nad targiem rybnym, idealna baza do zwiedzania centrum Katanii. Apartament czysty, dobrze utrzymany. Trzeba tylko wziąć pod uwagę późno wieczorny i poranny hałas. Nam się ten zgiełk akurat podobał - jesteśmy w samym sercu Katanii :) Właściciel bardzo miły i pomocny, kontakt bezproblemowy. Polecam!
• Maria (10/5): Gran ubicación en Catania - Alojamiento muy bien ubicado, para disfrutar del mercado de la pescheria después de un día de turismo. Aire acondicionado, lo que se agradece mucho en verano, y habitaciones y cocina con todo lo necesario. Estancia muy cómoda Todo perfecto. Hay quien dice que hay ruido del mercado, pero con las contras y ventanas cerradas nosotras no notamos nada. Lo mismo del olor, solo entra al airear, lógicamente, si no, no te enteras. Y el plus de estar allí viendo en directo como trabajan el pescado, y en la zona de restaurantes a mediodía y noche, vale totalmente la posible incomodidad (que para nosotras no lo fue)

• Bernard (10/5): Exceptional - Marco is a fantastic host. Very kind and welcoming, with perfect communication. The location was excellent. We were a little hesitant at first because it's right in the heart of the fish market, which looks a bit run down but we couldn't have been in a better place. Just a few minutes from the main square and with great food options as well as some very nice bars all within easy walking distance. It's true that some people who are very sensitive to noise might be disturbed by the sounds of the market opening up in the morning. The double glazing offers very good soundproofing so it wasn't a problem for us but it's something to be aware of.

Lovely provisions in the fridge (water, milk, fruit, yoghurt, coffee etc.) Maro was very good with keeping in communication. Great to have washing machine and drying area upstairs Could have used a softer light in the kitchen/dining area.

• George (10/5): Great apartment right by the market - Great location right in the market area. The apartment is very spacious, clean and quiet even with the central location. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast provision was also excellent. The pillows were a little hard for our taste.
• Edina (10/5): Excellent location - We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It’s next to the fish market but the flat is well soundproofed, and the noise did not bother us at all. It was fun watching the market from the balcony. Located in the heart of the town center, it’s perfect for enjoying the vibrant nightlife with plenty of restaurants nearby. The apartment itself was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering airport pickup for a reasonable charge. Highly recommended!

Uncomplicated arrival, even we checked in earlier as the apartment was ready. Complimentary breakfast, tea, coffee, etc. Noisy during week due to fish market outside - so at 6 in the morning, I woke up many times without alarm.

• Alena (10/5): Nice apartment and best host you could imagine - Amazing location just in the city center above the fish market and 1 minute walk from Duomo. We were a bit worried it might be a bit noisy due to the location as we are light sleepers but there was no issues at all, the soundproofing is fine. Apartment is cosy and very clean. Lost of space to store luggage. Comfy beds. Kitchen has everything you need to cook fresh seafood you buy at the market downstairs. The host is amazingly friendly and responsive, he answered all our questions, helped with all our additional requests and even helped us find the shop that sells the vine we were looking for. I was super impressed by all the attention to the details - the way the shower kit was packed, the snacks and water. One of the best experiences we had over the last couple of years. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Catania! <3 There were issues with water going down in the shower.

• Galya (9/5): Comfortable - The flat is very nice and it offers everything that you need! It’s clean and comfortable.Marco is very polite and friendly, and he made us feel very welcome. I liked that he left us something for breakfast, coffee, tea, water, etc. even though it wasn’t included in the price. In addition there were few bottles of local wine, on a very good price that we’ve managed to try. The location is perfect, just may be could be few steps away from the fish market, but it’s near to bus, main street, and all beautiful places that are mandatory to visit in Catania! Thank you, Marco! For me the pillow was a bit hard, and the noises in the morning from the market, even the flat is soundproofed. But this definitely didn’t affect of our stay negatively!

• Michal (10/5): Fantastic accomodation in Catania tha exceeded our expectation. - This is a dream accommodation in the very center of Catania. If you love culture, history, city life or amazing food, trust me this is the best choice for you. We will always remember the moments when we went to the outdoor market for breakfast oysters. And we would buy seafood and super fresh fish for lunch. The apartment itself is very spacious and tastefully renovated. We liked that the owners didn’t regret spending some extra money on quality materials and equipment, including the appliances. There is absolutely everything in the kitchen, if you want to cook, nothing is missing. We are sensitive towards cleanliness, which is perfect. So was the Wi-Fi. We were also pleasantly surprised by the amount of complimentary items that the owners prepared for us. From free coffee, a wide selection of tees to various snacks that we couldn't even eat. Communication with the owner is just great. Rachele & Marco, thank you so much for the great welcome and professional care during our stay. This was one of the best accommodations we have ever been to. For the first time there' s nothing to mention here...

Plenty of essentials provided - coffee pods, wine to purchase, fruit, milk, biscuits, yoghurts and toiletries. Owner was helpful and kept in contact to check we were enjoying the property. Balcony was good. Parking nearby can be difficult - but we knew that. We recommend that the owner provide a sharp knife for cutting food, other than that brilliant.
• Nina (10/5): Great place to stay, great location, best host ever - Very nice, modern, spacious, very clean apartment in a perfect location right in the centre overlooking the fish market. (No fish smell 😉) All sights within walking distance, great places to eat nearby. 100% recommendation. We will be back! It is also worth mentioning that Marco is a great host. Not only did he give us good tips and pick us up, but when I left my passport at the apartment at 6:30am, he even brought it to the airport. That is more than hospitality 😊. Nothing. It might be nice to have softer pillows. But that is a matter of taste.

I will immediately point out that despite the bustle of the street, there was silence in the hotel, it is perfectly soundproofed. The host took care of everything - from the decor to the equipment. It was very clean. Guests have at their disposal coffee, tea, olive oil, spices, and even an oven or juicer to prepare juice from fresh Sicilian oranges. I will also add that the host welcomed us with local drinks and fresh fruit, which was very nice. Apartament is spacious, there is a lot of space. There is nothing to wonder - just book the facility and come here!😊 Thank you Marco🤗

• Chuan (10/5): Clean, comfortable apartment in the heart of storico centro. Perfect for families! - Very clean and comfortable. Great central location. Apartment is decently soundproofed from the sounds of the market, although we enjoyed listening to the sellers! Apartment looks to have been renovated recently. Appreciated the coffee, tea, snacks, fruit, yogurt, and water. Smart TV has streaming services. Great value, at least in the off season. Should be aware that the bathroom has a macerator toilet, and the property does not want you to flush toilet paper (there is a sign in the bathroom specifically stating not to flush toilet paper or any other sanitary products) and use the waste basket instead.
