• Cheek (10/5): Great and affordable - Loved the tranquility. Good location. Loved the restaurant. Flying bugs , forgot to take bug spray, so any lights in the room attracted them
• Denise (5/5): - Convenient position for a 1 night stopover. Avoid the interleading rooms if you want a good night's sleep. We had only a wooden door separating us from noisy neighbors who shouted, played music, and had a crying child until 02h00. Even after asking them to keep it down, the noise didn't stop."

• Erika (8/5): Leuke tussenstop! - In de mooie natuur, afgelegen en stil. Ruime kamers, en leuk dat de 2 huisjes aan elkaar grensden, zodat we dichtbij de kinderen waren. Op de foto's staat een biljarttafel, (we waren een gezin met 3 jongens die uitkeken naar een partijtje pool). Helaas is dat deel wel aan herstellingen toe..

• evans (9/5): Lovely place, value for money.. - - We loved the rooms, spacious, clean with air-conditioning, the outside kitchen, and the braai area - We liked the owner, very easy going and helpful - We liked the big bottles of shampoo and body wash. - We liked the patio furniture - We loved DelishH restaurant which is on the property gate, wonderful food and staff, and the children's play area which our 2 year old enjoyed.. - There are these 2 loose sand sections in the entry road that you can feel the car struggle a little to get traction on, about 10 to 20 Meters each, good news is that it's a level road so no inclines to worry about. - The main door mat could be a more sand accomodating one, cause the outside walking area is sandy... - Lack of a room broom, again area is a little sandy so some of it comes in with shoes and having a room broom can come in handy.

• Gxr4U (9/5): Peaceful Getaway in Nature, Vintage Bush Cottages - My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at the Mazuri Bush Cottages. The place is very peaceful and perfect for anyone who needs a peaceful break from the busy city. The outdoor seating area at night is lovely, with the sounds of insects and the bush all around. The braai area inside the bush is amazing, the air is fresh, and the walking trails are truly enjoyable. Parking in the bush and seeing animals walking around freely made the experience even better. The whole area is big, quiet, and very relaxing. The host is very kind and peaceful, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Hluhluwe–Imfolozi is only about 30 minutes away, and St Lucia and iSimangaliso, with their amazing beaches, are just 1 hour from Mazuri Bush Cottages. In my next visit, I hope the host can fix a few small things (room for improvement). I know he cares, so I believe he will improve them. The towels were brown and still a bit damp, so lighter colours and fully dried towels would feel much fresher. Brown towels also hide dirt, so it’s better to use colours where we can see they are clean. The shower curtain is old and should be replaced, or the bathroom can be updated to work without a curtain for a fresher and vintage look.

The brush outside could be cut away a little more. While its very private, i would like to see more and maybe see more of the animal life.

• Jan-Niclas (9/5): - Schöne Cottages verteilt im Sandwald mit mehreren Pfaden zum spazieren. Sehr netter Gastgeber. Waren nur eine Nacht dort, haben unseren Aufenthalt aber sehr genossen. Das Gate zur Unterkunft ist über den Parkplatz des sehr empfehlenswerten Restaurants Delishh zu erreichen (nicht über den Weg zum Kuleni Gate!).
• Felizitas (10/5): Es war rundum schön und man hatte das absolute Natur Erlebnis. - Sehr gute Lage und sehr sauber. Es war für die Selbstversorgung alles an Geschirr und Küchenutensilien vorhanden. Außerdem wurde jeden Tag alles sauber gemacht und selbst das Geschirr abgewaschen. Absolutes Naturfeeling. Es wäre vielleicht besser die Wege vom Parkplatz bis zu den Häusern mit Schotter oder Holzspänen oder Holzstegen zu belegen damit man nicht so viel roten Sand mit rein bringt.

We loved the sweet little path to the cottage (many birds and red duikers to spot), the comfy beds, great kitchenette set-up and host who went above and beyond to make sure our kids also had a blast. The adjacent Delishh restaurant was simply the cherry on top!

The cottages are located within a sand forest and game reserve is about 30 Kms away. Cottages are cosy and comfortable. At times, the road beyond the cottages becomes a little busy.
