• Stephanie (10/5): Very relaxing, wonderful friendly hosts, exceptional view - I was greeted at the bus station and walked to the apartment, really appreciated that gesture. I also liked the sound of the river which was this lovely ambient sound in the background. It was very restful and refreshing to stay at this place.

• Bianka (9/5): The apartment was very quiet and safe. - The host was very friendly, she gave us a warm welcome and self-made sweets. The apartment was huge and not far from the city centre or bus station.

Die Wohnung hat einen Retro -Charme der 70er Jahre, der Backofen geht nicht, aber dafür 2 Gasherdplatten

• Anna-barbara (9/5): Such a darling place! Quiet, green, terrace with a view, great host ... - Absolutely adorable accommodation! Even though the host, Miranda, does not speak a lot of English she is excessively nice and helpful :) The apartment is roomy and in cool in summer (there is aircon as well if needed) Everything was available – Wifi, toiletries, fully equipped kitchen The setting is awesome! Quiet road in green residential area with lots of gardens and view of the mountains from the terrace - such a lovely place for dinner. Home cooked meals are available for just 4 Euros. I had one dinner which was chicken and rice, a large salad and fruit for desert. I was also provided with some local sweets on arrival and once more on my second day there. All things needed are close by, such as shops, fast food, restaurants, cafes, gas station. It is just a few minutes walking distance to the center of town. I loved my stay and would come back for sure :) Three practicalities: 1. I had difficulties with the address. Google maps knows the place as "Villa 19" 2. Parking is available right in front of the gate. The road to the house is unpaved, though. It is in good condition for an unpaved road but if you want to avoid it anyways parking in the adjacent residential area or on the main road is possible and it is just a very short walk of a minute or so. 3. Hot water for showering has to be turned on by a switch at the door and then turned off afterwards. The mattress in the "pink room" was too soft for my liking. I just don't like these soft foam matresses but it seems to be an Albanian standard. I would also prefer a duvet with an actual cover instead of a sheet and top blanket but, again, this seems to be the Albanian way.
• Dassyr (10/5): Great experience - A cozy house, the hosts were very helpful, they helped me get to Permet without any problems by explaining the public transportation, and later they offered us local food. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay in such a beautiful place.
• Eugenio (9/5): Very good stay - The place is lovely, with a garden and terrace. Located centrally next to the river. Spacious - two bedrooms and living room. The hosts were very friendly although they speak little English. The Wifi was a bit tricky, but eventually managed to connect. The official check out time is too early.
• John (10/5): Excellent and affordable base to visit Permet. - Very welcoming hosts. Very comfortable for up to three people with two bedrooms, a double and a single. Good kitchen and comfortable living room. Very quiet location yet a brief walk to the town centerr. Some people might mind that there is no shower curtain, but the room drains just fine. I found the washing machine confusing to operate.
• Lindio (10/5): Exceptional - The place was clean and comfortable. It is located very near the city center and the price was very convenient. The owner are also kind and helpful.
• Daniel (1/5): Great Albanian hospitality and great personal risk - For once, I do agree with most other reviews. The rooms were huge and the whole house was very cozy and quiet. The location is excellent, within walking distance from the main road and all sites and restaurants. The host was adorable and really helpful. The food was delicious. I would easily give this accommodation a perfect 10 but... ... upon arrival, I was told that the previous guest did not leave the premises and would stay an extra night. The master bedroom was taken so I would have to sleep in the one with 2 twin beds. There was a one-night cancellation policy on Booking.com, the guy was out cycling for the day and I didn't feel like throwing his stuff out. The problem is there are no keys to lock the bedroom door and, worse, the bathroom. I only noticed that later. The host simply cannot advertise an entire villa in Booking.com and then expect you to share it with another guest, a perfect stranger, after confirming your reservation. And still expect you to be cool about it and write a good review after your stay. I also don't think the host realized this was a potential danger. Luckily, nothing bad happened.
• Preben (8/5): VERY COLD EXPERIENCE IN FEBRUARY... - A very nice apartment in summertime. I was there in February and it was very cold inside. But all in all I was satisfied and enjoyed my stay in Permet. Here is a nice garden and rabbits in small boxes. No tv-signal. And much too cold to rent out in winter time.

• Ian (7/5): Good - The host Miranda and her husband are very helpful. Despite not speaking much English we managed to communicate quite well. Miranda realty tried to make you feel welcome and at home, bringing food from her garden and kitchen. Quiet location just 2 minutes walk from the main street of town. They grow fruit and vegetables in the garden and it's really nice to sit outside and look at it all. Good value for money. I had problems with some of the facilities. Air conditioning wouldn't start then wouldn't stop. Kitchen needs more equipment, like knives. And maybe a kettle for boiling water, making tea or coffee. Shower was tricky to use without banging into the fittings and spreading water over the floor. None of these things were big problems but could have been less frustrating. TV has only one working channel which was not properly tuned. Minor disappointment.

• André (10/5): Best place to stay in Përmet - Everything was fantastic. We have a whole apartment for us alone plus a gorgeous view on the mountains for the veranda. Miranda, our host was so lovely. She welcomed us with a traditional cake. The day after she served us fried dumplings to breakfast. As we left her place she gave us a glass of fruit and it was like we’re leaving our home. Although we spent only two nights. Definitely recommend!

• Oksana (10/5): The best place to stay in Permet so far - If you ever want to see the real face of Albanian hospitality,you must stay in this villa )First of all ,the owner ,Miranda,is always around if you have any questions or requests.The house you rent has a separate private entrance,space for parking outside the gate ,a spacious terrace to have coffee or meals ,two bedrooms ,a cozy living room ,a well-equipped kitchen,a big bathroom and the full of light hall.I rented the house alone but four people minimum can stay there .All the villa is made with love ,beautifully decorated with paintings and pictures.There are fresh flowers in vases in every room,even in the bathroom .Everything is spotless and comfortable.Though the owner doesn’t speak English ,the use of an online translator solved all the problems and we could talk about many things with a cup of coffee with a wonderful and generous lady.Miranda brought me traditional breakfast as a treat and it touched me to the very bottom of my heart .She also treated me with homemade plum jam which was very nice of her .The lady also made their best dessert ever Trilece and brought me the piece as well.Where else will you find such hospitality ?))The house is located just above the river in a very quiet private area.Still,it takes just a couple of minutes to reach the city centre.I really felt at home and deeply thankful to these people for making my short stay so comfortable and peaceful .I will definitely come again and my sincere recommendations))) Impossible to complain )There is only one wish :to stay longer )

Beautiful porch to sit on overlooking mountains & their garden. The town of Permet is boring - not much to do.
