- Nonhlanhla (7/5): Good location and affordable - The property is in a good location and is easy to find. They also have cooking facilities so you can prepare your own food. The communication with the property isn’t great , to this day they still haven’t responded to the messages I sent using this site so the best way to contact them is calling , which is inconvenient really. For short stays you also don’t get a gate key so if the lady at reception isn’t there then you have to call her or look for her if you want to exit

- Roxzanne (1/5): Worst experience - Nothing. The host/lady is unfriendly The first room that we entered, omw. Whe she switched on the light, the cochroaches scattered. There were a few still on the wall. I asked for another room. The host looked and sounded irritated. The second room had cockroaches walking in the shower and there were a few walking in the room. I didn't sleep. My partner was very tired and we came there after 12 do it was already late to get another place. We left at about 6 (that morning). NEVER AGAIN!!!
- yorick (4/5): I would not be coming back here. - The outdoor pool area, I think that was the only highlight. Firstly, the bed, consisted of 2 single beds making a double bed. There was only 1 towel in the room. There was no crockery or cutlery, it had to be requested. There was no proper ventilation in the room.

- Gift Thanyane (8/5): Perfect stay in Goodwood - I liked the cleanliness of the place, and the responsiveness received from the staff. I also liked that the room came equipped with a fridge, microwave and TV. It was my second time booking there. I didn't like that the room had no fan for cooling in the hot Cape Town summer, and I also saw blood on one pillow case which is not nice to experience. I also didn't like waiting for my room to be prepared when I got there on day 1. Apparently someone had booked it before me.

- Cleo (1/5): Worse Experience ever in Cape Town - the only positive thing here is the hot water from the shower Initially i was given a room that had just been painted and i refused and was moved to a different one. The bed linen was not clean you could tell someone used them and was never washed. There were rats in my room i ended up checking our early as the rats were eating my clothes and food in the room .Cockroaches were all over the place . Even when i got there i kept ringing the bell for 20 good minutes no one came to assist me until i called them

- Mantoa (6/5): Pleasant - It wasn't my first time booking at this guest house. But this time around everything was not giving. The only thing I liked was the hot water and WiFi. We literally had to remind the lady for a Password, and she gave us a wrong one. We got help from one of the guy we met outside. Usually we would get a room inside, but this time around we were allocated a room outside and it was horrible. The bed was dirty and sheets not changed. There were cockroaches in that room. The bed was very hard with hard pillows. The list is endless. The bathroom door was not giving.. Ey Ey Ey, I have never been so disappointed in them this much. As someone who always books with them this was literally the last straw. We had to ask for our room to be changed because we needed to extend with two days. The bed was hard. Dirty bedding and hard pillows. Everything in that room was dirty. The door made this squeaking noise everytime it was opened. The curtains had stains and there was literally blood stains on our fitted sheet. I feel like it was changed at all. The Fleece was also dirty and the blankets so thin. If we didn't have our extra blanket it was Chaii for us. We had to write messages and ask the lady to come change the bedding. My Man left with red sores because of that bedding. It's a pity I can only share few photos, I have pictures of everything that disgusted me in that room. I think I preferred the Lady named Prudence better, the new hosts are really not helping with that guest house. Y'all will loose customers. Imagine after taking me work, my Man had to stand outside pressing the bell and no one answered. After that much time, this other guy who works there came out and asked who is he looking for. They don't even know their guests. Imagine that coldness in the morning standing outside for an hour just to be ignorantly asked who are you looking for while waiting for someone to buzz you in. He even went as far as lying that the buzz button wasn't working, but it worked fine in the morning when he left. Sunshine Guest house, do better!!!! I'm so disappointed!!!

Manager response tell them we can't do anything. No concern, reception lady disappointed in her manager and had to call the owner.Room not up to standard, cleanliness, floor tiles black, ceiling clear visible mouldy ceiling, dirty shower grouting, old newspaper and condom of previous guest. Only 1 towel in the RM, no toiletries as described on booking.com. Pool very merky. Clearly the place is great but not properly manage. Pool toilet...health and safety risk do not use. During the night someone knock on our door. Owners please step in beautiful place but dirty. Cups chipped..this place is dirty.

On our way down to Cape Town, they sent me a message to say that they overbooked and that they will accommodate us at The White House in Bellville. When we arrived, the place was dirty and smells bad. We had to look for other accommodation after a 15 hour drive and 4 adults with 2 small kids that was tired of the long drive. We were not happy with this whole experience Same as above. Very disappointed!

The place has a shady vibe and the doors are so flimsy you can knock it open with one hard push. After booking out I requested my money back from the owner and he refused to refund me. A week later and I'm still struggling. This place is a disgrace to all the other establishments on this app and should be removed or blacklisted. It wasn't a please to experience and I would not advise anyone to stay there. IT'S A DISGRACE.
