• Harold (10/5): Super mooie lokatie met heel aardige gastvrouw en heer - Super mooi lokatie en erg vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Hele grote kamer en erg netjes. Groot lekker en zelfgemaakt ontbijt. Op loop afstand van het oude centrum en kasteel.
• Jan-Willem (10/5): Mooie locatie met uitzicht vanaf balkon en met een tuin. - Erg vriendelijk stel dat de accommodatie runt. De man is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De vrouw maakt werkelijk fantastisch ontbijt met eigen producten. Je eet gezellig in de keuken met alle gasten. Locatie beschikt ook over een drietal eigen parkeerplaatsen. Kamers zijn groot. Wij hadden ook een balkon met uitzicht over de stad en op het kasteel. Je moet een klein stukje lopen met je spullen. Halverwege een trap kan je spullen via het raam droppen. Dat scheelt sjouwen.

• Maartje (10/5): Fantastisch - Wat een fijne accommodatie. We werden super vriendelijk onthaald en kregen huisgemaakte Raki als welkomstdrankje. Het ligt op een fijne plek 10-15 min lopen van het wat drukkere centrum. Alles was zeer schoon en we hadden een ruime kamer met een fantastisch groot balkon met mooi uitzicht over Kruje. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en heel erg lekker. 100% aanrader!! Niks!

• Karin (10/5): - Wir hatten in der Villa Duka eine super Unterkunft. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind super groß und sehr sauber. Das Zimmer ist auch sehr hübsch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir konnten durch unsere frühe Abreise leider nicht am Frühstück teilnehmen, aber die Besitzerin hat uns extra was für den Flug vorbereitet und abends uns noch selbstgemochtes Börek gegeben. Allgemein hat uns die Familie sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. nichts.

Das Frühstück ist der absolute Hammer. Von der Marmelade, Kuchen, Gebäck alles frühmorgens selbstgemacht. Eine glatte 12 von 10 möglichen Punkten. Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht das Vergnügen. • STEVEN (10/5): Amazing, Amazing, Amazing - Firstly I have to say during our many travels we have never met such kind people as your hosts of Villa Duka. The place is amazing, hospitality amazing, food amazing. The views from the building amazing. I keep using that word but it is justified. We are coming back in September and we cannot wait. Nothing, if you come to Albania No1 you have to visit Kruje, no 2 you HAVE to stay here.

• Van Berlo (10/5): - De gastvrijheid van de eigenaresse was geweldig. Na een lange en warme autorit werden we bij binnenkomst welkom geheten met een flesje water en een glaasje Raki. Mooie en schone kamer en badkamer. Het terras bij de kamer was echt geweldig. Uitzicht op de zee (in de verte), Tirana en zelf het vliegveld. In de ochtend een zeer goed ontbijt. We mochten van de gastvrouw zelf een lunchpakketje inpakken. Echt top! -
• Kim (9/5): Gezellig - Het was een super verblijf. Hele lieve en verzorgende gastvrouw. Ze sprak goed Duits dus we konden goed met elkaar praten. De kamer was super netjes. We kregen zelfgemaakte raki aangeboden, lekker maar wel sterk spul! Super ontbijt en ook leuk om met andere gasten aan tafel te zitten, we hebben leuke nieuwe mensen leren kennen. Het pad om naar de top van de berg te wandelen begint direct achter de villa. Een behoorlijk klim maar echt de moeite waard.

They were very kind, and the breakfast was spectacular—the butter was delicious, and she makes her own jams as well as the butter. The eggs come from their own chickens. Everything was fabulous. It was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Being able to use the terrace with that expansive view was a plus. The breakfast was outstanding. Vera served a traditional breakfast with many homemade or home grown items. The best part about this guesthouse is the generous and welcoming hosts. The stairs were a good workout, we appreciated the opportunities for exercise in this beautiful town.

Y el desayuno…sin palabras de rico. Todo hecho por ella. Mantequilla, huevos de sus gallinas, mermelada, fruta…Todo genial. Nos preparó café también…no faltó nada. Si alguien me pregunta, le recomendaría este alojamiento sin dudarlo. Yo no lo cambiaría por un hotel de 5 estrellas. Para nosotros no fue ningún impedimento pero el centro del pueblo está a un agradable paseo del alojamiento. Nosotros no tuvimos problema aún llevando a nuestro hijo de 4 años.

Die Gastgeber sind ungemein freundlich und Großzügig.der Ausblick vom Balkon reicht bis zum Meer und Tirana. Alles in allem einer der besten Aufenthalte der letzten Jahre.

• jane (10/5): Hard to beat on every count- wonderful place and wonderful hosts - We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Villa Duka. Firstly, the hosts are unbelievably welcoming (complete with a glas of homemade raki) and make you feel right at home the moment you come through the door. From the balcony of the bedroom the view was spectacular, the bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable and the modern bathroom spotless. The Old Bazaar, the Castle and the beautiful Horizont restaurant are all an easy walk away and the onsite parking in the garage means you can leave the car and comfortably explore on foot. And to start the day the breakfast banquet makes it very difficult to leave the house - home-grown fruit, eggs from the family’s chickens, homemade jams, rice pudding, petulla, fresh bread and coffee… a wondrous spread prepared with love. Staying here was the best decision and the perfect place for our final night in Albania before we flew home. Our hosts were fantastic. Full marks all round.

They made us feel so much at home. Very kind and helpful. They made really good suggestions for dinner and we really enjoyed that. The house in itself is very well maintained, clean and well equipped. The breakfast spread was very elaborate and really tasty.

Very low price for what we got. English was a bit lacking but the German of the staff was good so this was no problem. Bathroom on the first floor is shared with the entire floor (although this was not problem for us as we had 2 out of the 3 rooms there and the last one was empty).
