• David (9/5): Once we had got over the communication issue and got access, everything was great. - All the things we needed were there. Diane was very helpful in sorting out things for us. We arrived but nobody knew about us. We had messaged but no access details arrived. Luckily someone arrived by chance connected with the property and after several phone calls by them, Diane arrived and we were able to contact the owner and get in but it was very stressful.

• Luka (10/5): Exceptional - Communication with host was very easy and responsive. Check-in and check-out was very simple and fast. Location is great and they even helped us with storing some of our backpacks when we went hiking for a few days.

• Ines (6/5): good location to experience Albanian culture - the location was good--near the centre and close to markets and groceries. Both Diana and the owner were responsive to my inquiries and needs. there was no fridge as advertised so I was offered a discount. When things did not work, they made efforts to rectify. the bed was makeshift--a queen size foam mattress on a poorly constructed double bed frame that constantly shifted and gave poor sleep quality.

• Daniel (7/5): Good - Basic but clean and comfy. Shqipe and Diana were super helpful and really went out of their way to support my trip. Diana arranged bus tickets and pick up for my trip to Theth - and let me keep my luggage at the accommodation while I hike the Peaks trek.
• Scott (8/5): Nice, helpful hosts in a worn, but charming apartment. - Shqipe and Diana are both very accessible via Whatsapp and the Booking app. The room is pleasant and the bathroom is very recently remodeled. The apartment is near a large street and we felt comfortable walking back later at night. The Wifi connection works, but don't expect broadband speeds. One of the most helpful things we encountered was the laundry machine, it was very sweet of them to make it available! If you aren't there as an enthusiast of the "Communist" experience, you may find the place a little run down, though that is part of the charm. You'll definitely feel the bed springs, but it's nothing unbearable. Overall, it's a solid stay with great hosts and an interesting time in Shkodra!

• Cara (10/5): Thank you Shqipe and Diana for all your help and welcoming us! - We had a great stay in Shkoder. Our host was extremely responsive and very kindly let us leave our bags in the apartment while we did the Peaks of the Balkans. We highly recommend staying here!
• Daniel (8/5): We just needed a simple place to sleep for the night, and it was fine. - The hosts responded quickly to messages. They are friendly and helpful in connecting and getting checked in. It's within walking distance to many things in the city. The bathroom is modern, even though the rest of the apartment is probably as it was during communism. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The towels are nice and large. There was no A/C. Fortunately, it was a cool night so it wasn't needed. There weren't electrical outlets where we needed them.
• Maximus (9/5): Superb - Great stay. Everything was clean and tidy and the shower was great. Shqipe & Diana are lovely people and were amazing hosts.
