Penelope (7/5): Perfectly adequate, but could’ve been better! - The location and the view were superb. We had a lot of space with the use of the main Villa and its apartment. We had several issues with it when we were staying there. Poor weather over three days meant that we had no solar hot water and no alternative means of obtaining it, according to the owner. Tepid showers were not great. We also had a water leak, which we thought at first was the toilet cistern – clean water - but eventually turned out to be a separate handheld floor level shower attachment, which I imagine was used for bidet purposes, which we hadn’t used – but it leaked water all over the floor. The night before we left home – when we had an early start – we were woken every 20 minutes by what sounded like water filling in the tank above us. A microwave in the kitchen would’ve been useful – we could use the one in the small apartment next door but that would’ve been a lot of additional effort. And I disliked having the TV in the bedroom and not in the lounge. There’s not a lot of fine attention to detail – it could be superb, but replacing cracked tiles, et cetera, grubby sunbed covers, dodgy shower attachment fitting on the main shower – a little more attention and it would be wonderful.
Rachel (10/5): Beautiful views, relaxing and spacious. - The villa was spacious with the use of the separate apartment. This was lovely as we could use the rooms depending on the time of day. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of storage for clothing and room in the utility area for outdoor equipment etc. The management company were very accommodating and kept in touch over our time there. The owner was also very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We loved the wildlife and views. This was a very relaxing property. Las Brenas is a beautifully kept village, very quiet and friendly. We had the use of a microwave and dishwasher in the apartment which was fine but perhaps a microwave in the main kitchen might be a benefit.
Vadym (10/5): Quiet and Scenery Villa - View perspective, Quietness, Scenery, Gardening and flora, Terrace, Sunset. Everything in the Island is max. 25 min away. Nearby nice beach - 15 min. Sometimes was windy
Matthias (10/5): Too good to be true - but it is! - The property is perfect for relaxing days away from any tourist hotspots. Nothing is missing - the equipment leaves nothing to be desired. Alvaro, the host, had many individual tips for us that made our stay unforgettable.
