- Nyika (9/5): Beautiful stay in a quiet rural setting - Beautiful views, clean and modern cabin, service was excellent and food delicious Not easily accessible, being at the end of dirt tracks and quite far from main roads and amenities. Few to no drivers available, be prepared to walk long distances or drive/scooter around. There are lots of flies during the day, being amongst rural farm land - though this is true for the Kintamani region generally and not a flaw of the accommodation.

- Miljan (10/5): - The Kamsha Kintamani is located in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake in the heart of the village. The cottages are very clean and cozy, offering peace and guaranteed privacy. We came for the Mount Batur sunrise tour, and if you’re looking for this kind of adventure, this accommodation is ideal. A driver with a Jeep picked us up and took us to the sunrise experience. Breakfast is included, which was quite good and very important since there’s nowhere nearby to get food. The only downside is the road leading to the property – it’s very rough, and we had trouble finding someone to drive us there without risking damage to the car. The road leading to the property
