- Shannon (10/5): - I loved this property! We went to the cabins to celebrate my birthday. We knew ahead of time that the cabin we rented did not have AC, however, I called the owner to let her know our ETA, and we found out the cabin with the AC (runs on a generator) was available, and she was so accommodating and allowed us to stay in the comfort cabin instead. The property grounds are beautiful and quiet. There’s a nice dock where you can enjoy the river and watch the boats go by. The property also offers kayak, paddle board, and a pedal boat. The property owner was available for questions and gave great guides on the area and things to do. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the cleanliness. The patio was a mess. You could tell it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was garbage, dust and cobwebs everywhere. It could have been a bit neater. Otherwise, we had a fantastic time and will be back! Tip: we purchased a portable shower for 40$ on Amazon and it worked like a charm! Make sure you have lots of water with you.
