• Christelle (10/5): A cozy, relaxing rainy weekend – we’ll definitely book again. - This was our second stay at Primo Farm and it was just as lovely as the first. Even with the rainy weather, the place was warm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed weekend indoors. Nothing to complain about – everything was great!
• Frank (1/5): An unpleasant experience. - The house and garden were pretty. We arrived at the property to find that it is very isolated and looks onto a stone crushing plant. The property is fully fenced and every door and window have trellidor security!! The farm next door has very high electric fencing. We were not prepared to stay at this property with our grandchildren and subsequently did not check in. We were charged 80% of the total accommodation cost by the owner to cover their costs and lost income and had to find alternative accommodation at short notice at our expense. Not a pleasant experience.

• Christiane (9/5): Exactly what we needed - Our stay at Primo Farm in Paarl was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, our host Emjie made us feel incredibly welcome. She was kind, attentive, and always very responsive to any questions or requests we had throughout our stay. Her thoughtfulness truly stood out—upon arrival, she surprised us with a generous gift of Springbok meat and lamb chops, which was such a special and personal touch. The staff on the farm were equally friendly and helpful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble—they even provided us with wood for the braai and kindly offered to wash our car. During a few particularly hot days, Emjie went out of her way to bring us ice cubes so we didn’t have to drive into town, which we really appreciated. The house itself is beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need. From a fully fitted kitchen with great appliances to a dishwasher, washing machine, and extremely comfortable beds—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The location is peaceful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for, yet still conveniently close to Paarl and all the places we wanted to explore in the area. A special highlight of our stay was the farm’s little dog, Rosie, who quickly became our loyal companion. She brought so much joy and helped us miss our own furry babies a little less. The small pool was perfect for cooling down and relaxing during the hot afternoons, adding to the overall comfort and charm of the stay. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more and would return at any time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil and genuinely warm farm experience. The perfect place to truly relax and recharge. Beautifully furnished with ample space for families to connect and unwind. As it’s a working farm, it’s best to come prepared with mosquito repellent, candles, and environmentally friendly solutions for insects, including cockroaches.

Their adorable little dog popped by to visit us every day, which was such a treat. The place had everything we could possibly need, and the beautiful garden was full of life, attracting all sorts of birds and insects. Wifi connection very bad Dishwasher was broken

• Fred (9/5): Wonderful, clean, well-kitted farmhouse bushveld getaway - Lovely pet friendly farmhouse with well tended, spacious lawn (enclosed) , kids play area, charming outside dinner table, stone splash pool, comfortable rooms, Well fitted kitchen, helpful, friendly owners... And who can forget Rosie, the friendly Sausage Dog who comes by for visits. Beautiful veld views. We'll be back! If you're coming for a special event that requires a clean car, like a wedding, you might kick up a bit of dust on the way in. Not a criticsm (we like our vehicles dusty, and expect it from a weekend off the beaten path) just something to bear in mind. Safe area, felt very secure, but an optional lock for the manual front gate would be an add for uncertain visitors. No deal breakers here, peaceful and wonderful farmhouse style getaway!

Patio, small pool and braai with beautiful views of the farm. The large garden is well-kept and fully fenced to keep the pets inside. Great option for a break from city life - and some lekker wine farms in the area!
• MARY (10/5): The best stay for a family - The house has everything you need and we loved the space. The views of mountains, the yard our Luna loved. When we left even she as a pup was not happy leaving. Beds are comfortable and owners have thought of everything. Thank you. We were 6 adults and two bunk beds will not work for another couple. Ideal for kids being close to parents.

Silenzioso, isolato ma sicurissimo Essendo una zona con tantissima umidità (nebbia al mattino) si è sentita la mancanza di pompe di calore per asciugarla: tutta la nostra roba è diventata umida e anche gli asciugamani non si asciugavano mai.

Ample cupboard space, everything you need in the kitchen. Ceiling fans were a winner. The shower in the en suite was awesome. The staff were helpful and prompt in responding to a small maintenance issue raised. I would stay here again and I would recommend this property to others. The flies were somewhat frustrating, but managed that by keeping the windows closed.

Far more impressive than expected with master bedroom having en suite and second room that sleeps 4 with own full bathroom. This is not advertised but was a pleasant feature. Emje received us and she was super lonely. Straight instructions about the house and always kind. The house was super comfortable. Nothing!

It is a beautiful drive to Paarl or Stellenbosh The house is next to a Farm in the middle of Vines and Wheat fields Construction quality is very good and the amenities are excellent We absolutely loved our stay Travellers note that this is a rural setting in the middle of "nowhere"

• Coetser (9/5): I would recommend Primo Farms to my friend and family and would love to go there again. - I liked the unit. It was clean and the owner was very accomodating and friendly. The facilities made our stay easy and felt as if you were at your own home. When we asked for assistance, issues were resolved immediately. I would just have wanted a tumble dryer as it took our washing almost three days to dry since we went during the winter season. I would also have liked the towels replaced every 2 days since we could not wash and dry them in time. I also think aircons may be needed during summer.

• Clarissa (9/5): SuPrimo- a dog parents paradise - The amenities were excellent; quality appliances, linen, with attention to detail. The garden was immaculate. The yard being fully enclosed with a decent fence height meant that we could completely relax while our furbabies explored the yard. Would definitely stay again Having the water go off for a short time on two of the days and not having hot water on the first night was a bit of a downer, but the caretaker, James, was on it in a flash and all was well.

Property was also very pet friendly with a wonderful garden for our two travelling pups. All round a very pleasant and welcoming stay. Flies were a bit of a nuisance but it is to be expected as you are staying on a farm but the owner was thoughtful enough to leave some fly spray which helped.

• Adre (10/5): The most accommodating host and a tranquil setting, couldn't ask for more. - Emje was extremely accommodating to our ever changing needs. We had arrived earlier than anticipated, and she even arranged different temporary accommodation for us, at what must have been quite an inconvenience for her. If it was, she never mentioned it. If you're looking for hospitality and worry-free staying, look no further. The view of the mountains and surrounding farms is something I'll remember for a long time as well.

On Arrival, the opposite 2 Huge Black dogs came running over & literally attacked my small Maltese poodle which He was Traumatised for the duration of our stay. Unacceptable!! Being situated on a farm, The Flies were such an irritation & my suggestion would be to hang a few Flytraps around the premises, So Annoying!!

• Majaandfamily (9/5): Superb - very secluded, clean and cozy farm house in the fields around Paarl! We spend a wonderful time in this beautiful place and enjoyed the sunset in the pool. Checking in and finding our ways around wasn't a problem at all.
• Vaclav (9/5): Luxury house with all you need - Very luxury house, very high standart of all equipment inside. 3 bedrooms, big kitchen with really everything you can need. Small private pool outside. Very private and safe location. It wasn't that easy to find right location, only small sign at crossroad in the middle of field. Maybe better to call in advance and ask for direction.
• Niccolo (10/5): Stunning - The house is in a beautiful and quiet location, the view is simply stunning. The property is spacious, extremely well-kept, clean and comfortable. You can find everything that you need, a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and roomy bathrooms. The pool is good for relaxing and having a beer in the outside.
• Hannes (9/5): Perfect accomodation to visit Paarl and the winelands arround - Allmost everything was very nice, even the TV is linked to the internet. Rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, everything perfect. The water in the pool was a bit muddy, but maybe this is maybe due to that time of the early summer saison because of some cemicals...? The rest was super! If someone would not be happy with some fine dust on the car due to the gravel road, this needs to be considered here, but that was not any problem for us!

Utensils are classy and of a high standard. The setting is peaceful,safe and serene. The hosts and staff are super friendly and extremely accommodating. Thank you for making our stay extremely safe , relaxing and mind-blowing. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to get away from their everyday life. It's the perfect place to unwind, reflect or even just spend quiet time away from the hustle and bustle. It's more than perfect for honeymooners😊

The house was so amazing, fully equipped with everything and more. The design of the place and the views. Oh my word the views were spectacular. All the rooms have big windows with views for days. I loved everything about this place. The kitchen even has an airfryer and the best quality appliances. The staff were phenomenal and friendly and even more so the owner Emje. She was kind and very accommodating. This house has absolutely everything you need. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were perfect. We had some body wash and lotion placed in the bathroom before we arrived. There are towels for the bathing and towels for swimming. There was firewood provided for our braai. It was just perfect. Definite value for money. The house is well taken care of. The location is safe, peaceful and quite. Just what we needed coming from the city. We all loved this place and cant wait for our next trip to go back. There was nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect.

The enclosed area outside is huge, great for the kids and dogs to run around and play. The jungle gym and splash pool were an added bonus. It was very quiet despite being a farm (I expected more noise, especially early in the morning).
