• Kathryn (10/5): Fantastic spot in the best neighborhood! - Amazing location. Very nice and accommodating host. Great communication. It would have been nice to have a drawer or two empty to put away clothes and some hangers. There is a great deck upstairs but no furniture to use on it. Just a few finishing touches would have made it even more impressive.

Well equipped kitchen, great coffee maker. Very comfy beds. Quiet area with restaurants nearby. Great communication from the host.

Was a bit hot when we were there so air con would have been great, as the bedrooms get very warm being at the top of the building

• Lois (8/5): Wonderful historic canal house, ideally situated for exploring Amsterdam - It would be helpful to have a little more equipment in the kitchen - wooden spoon, knives for preparing food.
• Jane (8/5): With some - Excellent location and plenty of space for us and our grown up girls to relax after walking and exploring Amsterdam. The property entrance is off putting and needs cleaned and redecorated. For the price the bed linen and towels should be higher quality. Towels hard and worn and far too small. Bed linen needs ironed as crumpled on arrival. Minimum of two pillows each - one not enough. The shower is very poor, shower head and hose needs replaced. Toilet brush is dirty and not needed.

Spacious interior especially when comparing to hotel rooms I would have given the property a rating of 10 but stairs were steep and perhaps not ideal if disabled or having difficulty with climbing. Amsterdam living tends to be vertical so most 2nd floor rentals are likely similar
• Edwards (10/5): Exceptional - The location was wonderful and the home was beautiful. We especially liked the built in espresso machine. Wish there was air-conditioning, but the fans and windows were helpful.

We send a message to booking that there were some missing things in the house, they immediately bring it. He was very kind man The entrance of the house was a little bit strange. we arrived late and it was dark to understand the door entrance
