• Andrea (10/5): - Le personnel était vraiment aux petits soins avec nous. Le service est très efficace : nous avons réservé, le jour de notre arrivée, une croisière d’une journée dans la baie pour le lendemain. En quelques minutes, tout était organisé et le bus est venu nous chercher à 8 h à l’hôtel. Cette croisière a été l’expérience la plus fantastique de mon séjour au Vietnam. Le personnel nous a également aidés à rejoindre le parc national de Cat Ba. Pour le rapport qualité‑prix de l'hôtel, c’est tout simplement incroyable. Les deux petites remarques que nous avons à faire : nous n’avons pas eu de petit déjeuner car ce n’était pas la haute saison, nous ne le savions pas, et il y avait un peu de lumière dans la chambre, mais c’est très courant au Vietnam. Pour celles et ceux qui aiment dormir dans le noir, pensez à prendre un masque.

• Rebecca (10/5): Amazing value for money - Great location where you can walk to the beaches and main streets. staff were so welcoming and ready to help with any tours or experiences you want to do. The value for money is amazing and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Nothing, would stay here again.

• Marta (5/5): - La ubicación y el personal era amable. Las habitaciones necesitan una reforma. No estaba limpio, el baño olía mal, las sábanas no estaban limpias, la puerta no cerraba bien.
• Philip (7/5): - The best part is the location and the helpful staff. The staff helped with booking a bus to my next location and booking a driver to take me around to the nearby attractions. They also helped with laundry service. The address listed on booking is different than the address provided by the staff so make sure to follow the one provided by the staff. They should update the address on booking to correct it. The rest of the stay was very average. The towels were clean but had leftover stains that the laundry couldn't get out. The bed while large was a bit too firm.

• f (10/5): - Nice place, very kind owner of the hotel. He helped us with booking bus tickets and tour. And this was good with very small amount of commission. He was very helpful and friendly to us The sink was blocked, but they solved the issue easily when we asked.

Llegué à este hotel por lo comentarios que permitian ver la bahía desde las habitaciones, una pena toda la construccion que hicieron enfrente, ya no se ve nada!

• Johanna (4/5): - For the price, maybe my expectations were too high The bathroom was very old and rusty, and the same with the balcony. There was no isolation, so we woke up at 7 from other guests and construction work next door. Also in the evenings, we could hear a karaoke bar in the area like it were the next room. There were multiple cockroaches in the room and hallway and elevator. The whole bay is a construction site so there's no ocean view or beach nearby.

The room and AC needs improvement. I understand that many properties as such suffered from Covid business. However the room could have that little mold taken care off and the AC needs to be looked at.

No lift and we were on the 6th floor. Staff were very hands off, little to no interaction and they told us we couldn’t pay card despite multiple signs saying they accept card. Wall paper was pealing off the wall and there was no kettle or mini fridge in the room. Expected better quality hotel considering the price
• M (3/5): Room in reality wasn’t look like in the picture and it definitely wasn’t worth - The location is in the middle of the island There was no basic facilities, the wall got a lot of molasses and smelled. The door got a glass and the light in the stairwell was on all the time could get through and it was so hard to fall asleep (I tried to turn it off but somehow it was on again and again). Plus bed wasn’t comfortable

• Dominique (7/5): Good - The view was amazing, the room was big and sunny and the people were super nice. Probably the driest room on the island (which is good, because humidity can be a real problem everywhere else in Vietnam). The bed was hard as a Rock, there was only one night table, no furniture besides a small coffee table which surface was unstable and 2 chairs that were ok. We had to put our clothes on the floor, because there was nowhere else to put them. There was no fridge, and no hairdryer. There was a plug next to one side of the bed, the other side had no plugs. The other plug was far from everything else. The tap, the shower and the roof in the bathroom were very very old and rusty and the drainage was a bit clogged.
• Luca (6/5): Amazing location, but needs improvement - The hotel is located right in the center of Cat Ba town. The view is super: you can really appreciate the bay through the big window. The room is quite spacious. I would like to thank the host and his family, who were very responsive and helpful. They arrange the transportation for us, and we really enjoyed the daily boat trip offered. As most of the hotels in the area (or so it looks), the building seems to be built with low quality materials. The location is quite humid due to the bay, and the ventilation in the bathroom does not help - unfortunately we faced quite a lot of humidity in the room, so much that it was hard at one point to see through the window. The mattress (as mentioned in other reviews) is quite hard, so not everyone might have a good sleep on it. Overall, we left a bit disappointed, because we had quite high expectations for the stay.

We also felt uncomfortable with the door. It only had a push button lock that only locks the door knob, and the door opened out to the hallway, which we felt was not up to code for safety reasons. I am sure it is very safe in Cat ba, but we still felt uncomfortable about it.

• Rafal (8/5): We love Cat Ba ! - The view is great we loved it ♥️ Staff were nice and kindly. The price/quality rate is incredible. It was so easy to make whole bathroom so wet. Also lack of insta coffee may be negative aspect but who cares :)

Everything was in walking distance. There was only one plug socket in the room and no light near the bed. It was very hot in the afternoon because of the sun .

• Fanni (8/5): Very good - The view from the room was truly breathtaking. It was a really comfortable stay with nice and helpful staff, good WiFi, clean sheets and big space to be. We were on the 5th floor (without lift), so it was a workout, but worth the view. Our shower didn't have hot water (or we couldn't figure out how to have), and the plugs are far away from the furniture. It would be great to have some extension chords. Also, the bed - as people mention here - really feels like styrofoam, which is super hard, but we still managed to have great sleep on it, so it really depends on the person.

• Tony (7/5): Good - Great location in cat ba town. Owners very friendly and smiley. Definitely worth the price. Beds were rock hard so very hard to sleep properly. Awful smell coming from the bathroom, I think it was probably the drain but the smell of waste was unbearable at times. There is also a loudspeaker outside the hotel that announces daily messages at 6.30am during the weekdays so if you're a late sleeper this may not be for you. This is not the owners fault, obviously, but something worth considering. Again, it was worth the price we paid.

• Elvis (10/5): My favorite hotel - Anh Khôi Hotel has a luxurious design and beautiful sea view. Therefore, this place is a place that is preferred by tourists to book a room. During the tourist season, the hotel often runs out of rooms because guests book in advance. Here you can fully enjoy the comfort and convenience during your stay. The space at the hotel is extremely clean and cool. The service attitude of the staff is very enthusiastic. Highly recommend to everyone
