Great shower, Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, Jug, tea and coffee etc, comfy bed, plenty of room, cupboards with iron and ironing board, hanging, fast free wifi. Reception was excellent It rained non stop - not the parks fault

Only a 5 min walk to the Bowling Club and Diggers and Seaview Tavern also a short walk. Ensuite cabins were a 10/10. We will be back again for sure. Nothing bad to report
• RuthieRae (10/5): Very quiet 10 night stay. - Very comfortable bed (we both had better sleeps than we do at home), lots of shelving for our possessions which was great as we didn't have stuff all over the place, cabin was very clean. Extremely quiet caravan park, was a lot of permanents around which are of the more senior generation so the place was so quiet and tranquil. We opted for the studio cabin for our 10 night stay and there was plently of room for our bags, supplies and surfboards. Park was close and handy to the beach and shops. Hand soap, body wash and shampoo was all supplied in the bathroom. Tea & Coffee making supplies were also in the kitchen. Lots of birds in the nearby trees and we were also able to hear the sheep from the neighbouring school agriculture area. Short walk to Diggers & the Bowling Club where we ate many meals. FOB for boomgate was supplied so didn't have the hassle of punching in a pin code everytime we drove in and no code or FOB was required for the drive out. Pool was nice and clean (water was a little chilly but that is to be expected for an outdoor pool) For long stays they do not service the cabins but we were told from the get go that if we needed anything all we had to do was ask, which we did. We spoke to the cleaning ladies when they cleaned the cabins around us and were able to get fresh towels and supplies. Very well maintained park - (the park maintenace man never stopped). Had a nice front verandah to have our morning coffee and watch the sunrise. Studio cabins are joined together and have a common wall but we put in a request for #1 Studio which is freestanding and our request was granted (it is the same size as the others but was just stand alone) Overall we really enjoyed our stay - generally we would get a cabin that is front row overlooking the beach and a 2 bedroom cabin for extra space, but I can honestly say we found the studio cabin to be plenty big enough for our 10 night stay and our front veranda still had a nice outlook. The walking track to the beach had a massive bat colony which turned us off walking the track but we were able to take an alternative route across the little bridge towards the bowling club and up to the beach via the streets. Was about a 1km walk to the beach. Would have been nice to have a front flyscreen door as we found if we left the door open for fresh air the place didn't take long to get a few flies inside. Shower - shower was nice but we did find the glass shelf inside the shower cubicle was positioned in the wrong spot - it should have been on the same wall as the shower head to get it out of the way. The place that it is positioned in really gets in your way and had to take extreme care not to knock it with our arms while washing ourselves. Also the shower head was positioned very high up on the wall. Shower had a large stain on the floor but it didn't affect anything. Fridge - Fridge was very typical of a "bar fridge" a lot of ice build up in the freezer and the freezer compartment didn't really work that well and the main section of the fridge took a few days to really chill our drinks.

• Jess (9/5): Absolutely recommend, will be our go to stay when in the area. - Location is close to town but feels secluded. Great set up of the park. Quality cabins that are well maintained. Friendly and accommodating staff. The room had an air freshener plug in, this was quite overbearing in a room the size we were in. Needed to open all windows and doors and remove the air freshener to get rid of some of the smell.

• Lynette (10/5): Hidden gem - Location was excellent being within walking distance to beach, bowling club and town. Bed was big and comfy. Cabin was new and clean. Tv in lounge and bedroom. Pool was lovely. Such a nice temperature and very clean. I would have liked a bit of a view from the deck but it was fine. The pool lounges were locked in the fence so couldn’t move them far to chase the shade from the palm trees. Maybe a bit more shade where the chairs are would be good.

• Stevie (10/5): Great! - This was the second time I have stayed here and I was thrilled that there was a vacancy. Some residents are permanent so the site is well maintained and feels very safe. Staff are helpful but unobtrusive. An easy walk to local shops, beach and eateries and the Gurdwara is close by and welcoming. Woolworths isn’t far, but uphill walks may put off anyone without a car. Pool, laundry and communal kitchen were all immaculate. Grounds are kept neat and watching flying foxes overhead from our verandah in the evening was a joy. Easy access to main road links for onward travel. Can”t think of anything negative: a great site for a short stay (or, apparently, setting up a permanent home!)
