• Ariane (7/5): - Sauna im Haus super, schöne Lage im Wald, Sofa war gut. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus, wir konnten dort sogar Polarlichter sehen. Dunkel, Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Betten waren unbequem. Es könnte insgesamt gemütlicher sein.

• Andrea (10/5): herziges sehr komfortables Apartment. Sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet, Küchenutensilien top. - heimelig und gemütlich. super Lage, Zentrum ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Bushaltestelle in 3Min erreichbar. sehr ruhig. es gibt gar nichts zu beanstanden.

• Cylia (10/5): Féerique - Cet établissement est juste un rêve , la vue est magnifique depuis le logement, on a adoré se balader autour, il est très propre , la cuisine équipée avec tout ce qu’il faut , l’appartement est à 2 min en voiture du centre , nous n’avons pas loué de voiture et nous avons marché jusqu’au centre, c’était environ 25 min ,et de l’aéroport c’était 13€ par personne et l’arrêt de bus est à 2 min à pied de la maison . La cheminée est un plus , nous l’avons allumé 2 fois et on a adoré. N’hésitez vraiment pas à le réserver, on recommande fortement et nous espérons revenir bientôt. Rien

• Louise (9/5): Cozy log cabin in the trees near the ski slopes - Cozy log cabin in the forest, not too far from town or the ski slopes. It was great to sauna after being outside in the cold. The communication was excellent and it was well equipped for toddlers with baby gates on the stairs, a potty and high chair! We loved it. The host allowed us to check out an hour late which was ideal for baby nap schedules! The kitchen is very small, not ideal for serious cooking. You also need to bring your own oil, salt, tea towels- we didn’t expect that.

• Nemo (10/5): a fairytale residence in the woods - Beautiful Log Cabin located in the woods, in a hill away from town but at the same time at walking distance (about 1 km) from the center. Excellent atmosphere all around and inside the house, where walls are made by logs. This is the corner section of a 4 unit log house. Parking area is adjacent to the house. The cabin is fully equipped: a kitchen that we used to prepare some meals, microwave oven, boiler, filter coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, a heated drying wardrobe at the entrance to dry clothes, a heated place where to store and dry wet booths, a sauna. WiFi is provided and working good. The cabin is well-heated, and also a nice fireplace is available, supplied with available firewood. There is a sleeping room with 2 single joined beds and a mezzanine faced to the living room where you find 3 beds, reachable through very steep stairs (provided with child gates on top and bottom to protect babies), that is useful only for sleeping, being very low. Blankets and towels are provided. The house belongs to a kind of small village in the same style, with houses dispersed in the middle of trees: you are in a log home in the forest, amazing! Clear instructions about how to use the house and facilities are provided in English and Finnish. We spend fantastic days here and rate "10" this location that we consider ideal for a vacation, however it is useful to be informed that: The steps to reach the mezzanine are sharp and could be dangerous for kids. The toilet is split in 2 separate rooms: one with WC and sink, the other with sauna and shower (but without sink): an unusual layout for us. The lovely sleeping room is small, with space only available to walk around the bed. No space to keep an open suitcase. Overall 5 beds, very good for a family, but for 5 adults there are compromises to be accepted. The mezzanine is ok only for sleeping.
• Nicholas (10/5): Magical winter wonderland log cabin in the woods, convenient distance from Levi and other attractions and can’t wait to - We had a wonderful stay in the log cabin in the woods, which had a great atmosphere and all the facilities we required, including a well equipped kitchen which we used to cook most of our meals, very hot sauna of 100+ °C located off the shower room, separate toilet, drying cupboard for winter clothes, heated drying rail for boots and coats and comfortable open plan lounge. The real fire made it really warm and cosy, with extra wood in the outside store room, but you have to be careful not to use the combined kitchen and bathroom extractor, otherwise the smoke would be sucked into the room. The downstairs double bedroom with its two single beds tied together, was an adequate size. It was a great tranquil location in walking distance to Sirkka centre, the Levi hill ski slopes and children’s sledging hills, restaurants and supermarkets. Restaurant Ämmilä did a great value lunchtime buffet for €16 and €8 for children inc a soft drink and tea and coffee and desert. Northern Lights Village was only 15 mins drive away and we had a great experience visiting Santa, but you need to book well in advance. Also nearby were Arcandia with its quirky buildings and Icepark Levi for the Snow Tubing and ice karting. Internet connection using the 5G router was reliable and fast throughout the property, considering the rural location. There was an outside socket for the car heater, but we didn’t need to use it, as our rental Golf had a petrol pre-heater. We saw the Aurora on a few occasions, once the cloudy sky cleared, but we needed to drive into the countryside to get a clear view of the sky, away from the artificial lights and trees. The mezzanine sleeping area with 3 single beds for children didn’t have much headroom for adults, but was ok for small children, but they need to be careful with the drop from the balcony. The pillows were a bit too hard for me and the owner said he would look into them when they next visit. TV reception through the aerial was limited to Finnish TV programs, but this was to be expected and was still entertaining. It had the usual streaming apps which you need to login to using your own accounts, but the WiFi connection between the TV and the 5G router was intermittent, even though our iPhones and iPad connected ok, so we used them when it was playing up. We hadn’t gone there to watch TV, so it didn’t matter too much, but is still useful to keep the kids entertained. The buttons on the remote didn’t work very well, but the owner said he would replace it, so that should be sorted soon. The instruction sheet from the maintenance company, which had been left out on the cabinet under the TV was confusing, as it said we either needed to clean the property thoroughly before leaving or just do the basics, but after checking with the owner, we only needed to do the washing up (either using the compact dishwasher or by band), strip the beds, take the rubbish out and bag the recycling. The property ring binder had been placed in a drawer in the cabinet under the TV and this gave instructions on using the fire, extractor, dishwasher, car charging socket etc and the owner said he would request that it would be left out in the future.
