Guest Reviews

- Desi Plachkinova (10/5): Great stay - Very spacious place, big room and big kitchen with a sleeping sofa. The location is great, a little noisy at the evenings - the square at San Lorenzo is a meeting point for young people, but there's always a patrol police. The Carrefour is 24/7, there're pizzerias with small pizzas to go. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, so is the bathroom. We felt very comfortable. We used tram 3 for Trastevere, Colosseum, Galleria Borghese. From the station it's 15 minutes by foot. The coffee was wonderful. No air conditioning, but enough ventilators.

- Sterniczuk (9/5): Overall, it’s not overpriced and definitely worth it! - We really enjoyed our time in San Lorenzo. Luckily for us, the weather in Rome wasn’t too hot during our stay, so the apartment stayed pleasantly cool. Even on hotter days (up to 37°C), it was still manageable thanks to the two fans provided. Honestly, it wasn’t as hot inside as some of the previous reviews suggested — it actually felt cooler than outside.
The apartment has a very authentic Roman feel, and for a moment, it really felt like living in Rome. The rooms are spacious and clean, and both the bed linens and towels were fresh. The bathroom was fine — it didn’t smell and was functional, maybe not luxurious like in a 5-star hotel, but perfectly acceptable.
San Lorenzo is a wonderful neighborhood to stay in. There are plenty of traditional Italian restaurants where you can truly enjoy the flavors of Italy — I absolutely loved that. The host was friendly and attentive, and public transport makes it easy to get around the city. Please note that this is a student area, so loud parties are common and happen almost every night. Since keeping the windows open at night is necessary to keep the apartment cool, it’s a good idea to bring earplugs for a better night’s sleep.

- Ewa (9/5): Miły pobyt - Wyposażenie mieszkania, duża przestrzeń, śniadaniowe jedzenie, wygodne lóżko, kontakt z właścicielem, Czystość prysznica,
- Melody0111 (5/5): Friendly Host and Great Location - Great location and easy check-in process
The apartment wasn't clean when we arrived, but the owner showed up very quickly and cleaned it for us.
The apartment is very spacious and it has a big bedroom. There is a lot of rubbish on the street in the neighbourhood.
- Stavroula (2/5): The host was nice and good to communicate with and left some nice treats, clean sheets and towels etc. The place had nic - Location, good to communicate with host, clean sheets Dirty floor / dirty bathroom. Unbearable heat inside the place extremely uncomfortable made it too difficult to sleep.
- Katre (9/5): Superb -
- Barrie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gosia (7/5): Good place for a City break - The apartament is generally ok. Rooms are big enough. We were out all days and we were comming back just to take a rest in the night. We did not expect mu|ch... We had to pay extra money to open The door because accidently it closed itself....Our foult ok.... but when renting a house you should never have that kind of a lock...
Generally apartament is a bit dirty... Bathroom smells. Water goes from extremly hot to cold. Its difficult to take an ordinary shower
Breakfast included... We had some biscuits one milk and jam....
- Antonio (8/5): Large apartment and friendly owner - Large apartment with all necessary equipment, short distance to supermarkets and main train and bus terminal. The Lady owner is very nice and friendly.
- Mykola (7/5): In general i would say it a good place for students who want a party. It’s a quite neighborhood no party allowed. - That was entire apartment for me, but the owner prepared for me a small bed , there were two beds in a quiet big bedroom one queen size and other single. For the price I paid , at least queen bed can be prepared in a better case two of them then I can choose myself where I want to sleep. Bathroom smells disgusting, and the shower looks dirty and very small I decided not to enter iside.
- Evy (8/5): Very good - Very spacious and well located. Milk in the fridge. Large table and chairs. Clean floors and bathroom. Beds comfortable enough. Very old sofa that looked... not so sanitary. No breakfast as advertised, unless an open package of rusks and some jam pods count. The city tax was more expensive than a much nicer property in the same neighborhood.
- Jennifer (10/5): A great stay if you want an authentic Italian stay. - We got to stay in an authentic Italian apartment. The host went the extra mile welcoming us and supplying a bottle of water. Host had also left coffee, tea, toast, jams and delicious biscuits. It was a shame that it wasn’t a little closer to all the main sites of Rome. Location. Otherwise we would have stayed here longer.
- Rati (10/5): For a nice and cozy stay. - The apartment has everything you need. If there are some issues host answers very quickly. The location is not near the centre but the bus station is very close so it was not a problem. The bed was comfortable. There is no air conditioner.
- Stephanie (6/5): Not great for a summer stay...too hot inside!!! - The apartment had a spacious bedroom and had nice kitchen facilities and a washing machine.
There was coffee/milk and some rolls and crackers to eat.
The apartment was close to the train station. The water changed between freezing cold and burning hot many times while showering.
It was extremely hot in the apartment, and there was only one fan...my fault for not seeing that the apartment had no air conditioning.
The floors were very dirty and needed to be swept or vacuumed and mopped. When I walked barefoot in the apartment, my feet got very dirty. There were huge amounts of dust under the bed.
The lobby smells very bad because of the garbage cans inside the doors.
It was noisy outside until very late, and we couldn't keep the windows closed because it was so hot inside.
