- Kayleigh (1/5): Scam - Being conned into booking a subletted apartment. Told by reception that they don’t accept booking.com or Airbnb guests. After being messed around with the first booking only to get denied access with the second. They also force you to pay an additional non refundable “waiver” fee of £53.50 or a refundable deposit of £200 which I obviously didn’t have. This was also not highlighted when I made the booking. Once paid the true address was passed to me only to find I had to walk a further 20 mins to collect the key. I was already late to my event. The apartment building wouldn’t grant me access and I left having missed my event and over £200 out of pocket for an accommodation I didn’t use. I have sent a complaint via the app.

Booked for 2 bed and sofa bed. No sofa bed there no bedding! I explicitly asked this in emails before booking and assured there was.
I contacted the number given, no reply! To any of our messages.
Emails answered (eventually!) then ignored. Then got another ‘reply’ but to another customer who was complaining about a different property.
We had to go buy bedding and one of our sons sleep on the floor!!!!! Filthy carpets.
Filthy oven which out works on grill!
One, yes ONE frying pan, which doesn’t even work on induction.
Also NO hot water- again messaged the number but again no reply!
Outrageously managed Appartment.

- Annie (6/5): Basic but convenient - Good location, handy for getting into the city centre, only a short walk. Beds were uncomfortable, showers were cold and there were not enough towels for 4 people.

There was a strong scent on the sofas when sat on.
Wifi wasn’t working for the first 24 hour of my stay which made it difficult for me to work.

Didn’t get told about £200 deposit that needed paid untill check in. All the fire alarms had been disabled and live wires were exposed!
- Loyce (2/5): Not worth for your physical and mental health at all so AVOID - Location was great close to city centre It was suppose to be a sofa bed since we were 3 of us as advirtised say but nothing, the sofa was smell like pet or human being urine which it was very uncomfotable and end up sitting on chairs instead of sofa,we tried to spray everything but still it was horrible with full of stains.
Communication with host very well before check in and asked to pay deposit of £200 which was not mentioned before. After check in you are on your own we didnt shower first night as there was not hot water and phone was not going through so we had to call booking.com instead of host But still nothing was done.
No bedding or towels to change for 6 days as we were 3 adults, instead they told us if they provide a freshh one we have to pay extra £50😏
You have to collect and drop the keys in different location at your own cost🤷♀️
Carpait full of stains, smoke and fire alarm all were removed I dont understand why🤷♀️

- Sheila (1/5): A disaster. - The location was in a modern apartment building there was an extra charge to speak to the concierge which was very strange and made us think that the apartment was being let contrary to the owners lease, and made us feel very uncomfortable. There was no advance warning of a £200 deposit demanded at the last minute. The keys were at a location some distance away causing a great deal of inconvenience. There were no towels at the apartment and no hot water, despite asking, this was not resolved. The smoke alarms had been removed, a very dangerous situation. The apartment was not very clean.

Quiet and clean We had to travel to go and pick up the key and drop it back off which we didn't realise until we arrived. We had an event at 3pm and ended up not getting there till 4.15pm due to having to travel for the key back to the apartment and then back to the event.
Had to pay 200 deposit-this was refundable but I wasn't aware of this.
No hot water for a shower the following morning.
- Ian (5/5): OK for a short stay to attend a venue in that area. - For a short stay for 2 couples the apartment was very suitable. Very close to the main train station and to the AO Arena. We walked to the Coop Arena which was fine.
Nearby car parking was OK. The hot water system was turned off and there were no instructions on how to operate it.
There were no working smoke detectors/alarms, all 3 head units had been removed? We did report this to the management team so hopefully this will get promptly resolved.
The mattress in the second bedroom was too soft.
Nowhere immediately nearby to get breakfast.
- Lucy (2/5): Dirty - You have to pick up and drop off the key at a convenience store which is no where near the apartment costing more money in taxis. The flat wasn’t clean, dust everywhere and had blood stain on the radiator. Had a foist smell in the apartment. Don’t think the cleaners do much there was stuff left over from the people who must have been in before us. Would avoid

- key collection is in Salford (roughly 20 minute walk away from the apartment
- advised of additional fees
- security deposit of £150.00 demanded although not advertised and is a nightmare to get back unless you keep messaging them for days after you check out
- poor host communication
- advised as a having a sofa bed (even double checked with host prior to which they confirmed) once arriving no sofa bed & host was unresponsive regarding the matter
- terrible smell coming from behind the sofa
- stains on carpets
- small stains on bedding
-thin & lumpy pillows
- hairs found in the towels
- no hot water throughout apartment (no alternatives from host just “sorry for the inconvenience)
- apartment invested with flying insects
- fire alarm have been taken apart and not in use
- not enough pillows/bedding supplied for what is advised as “3 sleeping areas”
- stains on hob, walls & furniture
- Rina (4/5): not worth the price - had to collect the key from a different location and the apartment had flying insects. the heating wasn’t working in some rooms and after asking the host to fix the problem nothing was done

Advertised as 2 beds and a sofa bed but there was no sofa bed nor any extra blankets so one of our group had to use a coat to sleep under

- Tallia-tamara (4/5): had a nice time, just wish it was nicer for the money spent. - The flat itself was very nice and modern, it was close to everything in the city and had a wonderful view. The TV was big and had streaming services ready. The building was also lovely. Firstly, the hot water didn’t last long enough and had to wait at least 30mins after each person showered in order to have the hottest temperature. Not sure why but all of the smoke detectors were removed from all the rooms. The side tables in the rooms had broken drawers and there were a few stains in the carpets.
Secondly, there was a complication with the hob as it wasn’t kitted out with the correct pans and that was quite frustrating. The host told us that the correct pans were there but it was only a pot that actually was compatible with the stove. There was also a weird smell in the living room near the sofa and that wasn’t very pleasant.
Lastly there was an array of flying bugs around the flat and one of the shower door handles was loose and I almost slipped holding onto it.

Owners don’t care. - Clean, nice bathrooms Advertised as having a sofa bed and private parking, neither of these were available so we were a bed short for our family, despite me contacting them in advance to check. Very disappointing and no response from owner/ manager other than sending extra towels on the second day. We paid a premium price for what should have been a special break.

- Keith (2/5): Very poor - The property itself is quite nice. Basically decorated but clean and new No hot water. Made a complaint via the operators WhatsApp when we got to the flat but they took ages to respond. When they did they just simply said they’d report to maintenance. We had no hot water at all for our stay bar trying to boil the kettle to have a wash.
Very poor convoluted system to get/drop off the keys. You have to go to a convenience store located 5 - 10 mins walk away from the property. Fair enough. There was no instructions on where to leave the key after check out. I did WhatsApp the operators and they confirmed I had to return the key in the morning. However, when I turned up at the convenience store in the morning at 8am, it was shut. I tried calling the operator but no response. As a result, I had to take the key with me.
One of the operators finally called me about 8.30 by which time we were already on our way to meetings in Altrincham. The operator agreed to come and collect the key at 11am which they finally did at 1.30pm.
Laughably, I received an email around 9am giving me instructions on how to drop off the key.
In short, a very poor experience.
