Guest Reviews
- Sarah (4/5): -
- Luka (2/5): Never again. - Food was alright, but breakfast was poor. Really poor selection. Bed had dirty sheet, very dirty floor and carpet, whole bathroom needs renovation, no smart tv, bad wifi connection.
We stayed 3 days and we ordered food with desert and they forgot the desert twice.
Box with forks and knifes is dirty.
Tea cups in the room were not cleaned properly. We will definetly never come again.
It was our second stay here and first time was not as bad as now.
- Lynda (8/5): - It had all what I needed for my stay and near the start of my group’s ramble Unfortunately it was surrounded by new housing builds but I know it is only temporary !
- Downie (10/5): - We stay at this venue approx every three months.
Staff are always friendly
Venue clean
Food value for money Nothing
- porter (10/5): -
- Bethany (4/5): - Nice to have a pub connected and easy to get the airport We were on the ground floor and all night could here people walking up and down so couldn’t sleep, was so loud sounded like they were going to come through the roof
- Mavis (9/5): - Convenient location, friendly welcome and good food at good prices. The pillows were hard and lumpy.
- Lilias (10/5): This is my first holiday for over two years and the bridge Inn was a perfect start. The Staff was lovely. The food was e - Everything was very easy for me Nothing
- Jamie (10/5): - All the staff were nice chatty and always happy to help , plenty of parking , rooms ok for the price Wi fi was poor which didn’t help with the poor phone signal
- James (9/5): Good location for airport stay - Great location for Bristol Airport. About 20 mins drive early in the morning - suspect the back roads get busier later in the day! Big car park for use while staying. Easy to find from M5 Clevedon junction.
Hungry Horse pub but with lots of rooms. Hotel check-in can be reached through the pub or a separate side entrance.
Evening food was OK. Local village with a pub by the railway station was good atmosphere Sunday afternoon and only 5 mins drive away.
Family room was really big and plenty of space for a double and two singles. Decoration a bit battered but OK for our needs.
Great price booked a few weeks before compared to other airport hotels - £55.
- Debra Maria (8/5): Very good value for money and helpful staff - The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are very helpful. The hotel is very good value for money The communal areas are a bit dated and could do with a revamp.
Room wasn't serviced.
- neal mayers (9/5): Bridge inn - Location ,parking ,facilities, food ,staff.
Good atmosphere. Cutlery was not clean ,hot water ran out. Toaster took a long time
- Rachel (9/5): Enjoyed our stay - Not far off the M5, great for a stopover, very clean, great breakfast The bath was very slippery when using the shower
- Mike (7/5): - It's OK, exactly what it is, clean, tidy, well placed for overnight airport stay. Lack of offer at the bar, for a green king brewery inn, no ale other than ipa. Green king brew alternative ales ie abbot, crafty hen etc. 8 larger/cider offering 1 ipa.
- gillian (7/5): Good - Like the rooms, food parking and reception I didn't like that breakfast didn't start till 7 when we had to leave before breakfast started it eould be good to start at 6 like a few hotels do to accommodate early flights
- Carr (7/5): - Food good, breakfast good value for money
- Frances (7/5): -
- Chris (6/5): -
- Caroline214 (8/5): - Excellent location with a bus stop to Weston right outside. Private free car parking, very useful and the price of food at the Hungry Horse (attached) is fabulous....clean and good value for money. Close enough to the coast. Nothing
- Morgan (8/5): -
- Peter (10/5): Don't use the breakfast - The breakfast let the place down, toaster, useless, mushrooms and bacon so dry.
The room was lovely. THE BREAKFAST WAS TERRIBLE,, SO DRY
- Martin (5/5): -
- Julie (8/5): Great value stay. Ideal for the airport. - Restaurant is on site Nothing
- Liudmyla (8/5): -
- Janice (8/5): -
- Betty (5/5): Everything as above statement - Dinner was good but bar service was slow, appeared as if staff were not fully trained on all drinks, especially finding the brandy. Breakfast was average, On entering the hotel (long) corridor there was a very strong smell of scented air spray, it was extremely strong and caught our breaths. It was as if someone had either dropped a gallon of air purifier or had sprayed far far too much, probably to camouflage and hide the underlying damp smell. The smell in bedroom was not quite so pungent but we sneezed for the first one hour even after opening the windows. As it was an overnight stop before airport and we had opened our cases in the room then when we arrived on holiday the pungent smell had been absorbed into our clothing and had to be hung outside to air. We were thankful that neither of us suffer from asthma as our stay may have ended in an ambulance being called. There was no one on desk either night or morning to speak to regarding this issue. We couldnt get out of hotel quick enough.
The hotel bar needs a lot of TLC a thorough clean removing cobwebs etc and a new carpet. Very disappointed and won’t be using this place again.
- Garan (7/5): Lovely and convenient location, but a bit dated. - Location and staff. Quiet rooms.Cool room even though no air conditioning, and in a heat wave. Fans in room was welcome. Shower head to low for taller people no adjustment.
Neibour above had children so constant noise banging in early morning on ceiling.
- Gazee (10/5): Excellent stay - Booked a Family room for one night
Room was nice a spacious, with two singles and a double My only honest thing I would say is that the decoration is slightly dated in comparison to today’s latest standards, but its value for money and can’t argue with that and the rooms are a good size
- Lynne (7/5): Reasonable place for an overnight stop. Clean and functional - Manage a GF breakfast OK with no hassle. Room OK - dated but clean and suited our needs as a family Place smelt a bit smoky generally but room felt clean. Hard to find the door to get in late at night!
- Matt (6/5): It was adequate - The breakfast was value for money, the receptionist and waitress at breakfast were both delightful to deal with, super friendly and attentive. Even though we were on the bottom floor, the room was relatively quiet, except for one guest who was incredibly noisy down the corridor at 7.30am. The bedroom was so hot we didn't sleep, one pillow wasn't enough but two of the pillows were too thick. The shower was poor, tiny and lacked power. The tap on our bathroom went crazy halfway through using it, so you were sprayed with water halfway through washing your hands. The whole building smelt musty and is in need of a good paint, as it just looks quite run down. The website said the bar was open until 11pm, we got back to the hotel at just gone 10 and wanted a soft drink after the very hot journey back. We were told that the till was closed down and we couldn't have a drink. This is poor for almost an hour before closing.
- Barrett (8/5): -
- lawrence (9/5): very goog in spite of air temp of 30deg C that weekend - the v helpful manager who sorted out my local address prob in Clevedon for me! wi fi would not work except on insecure mode-
- Emma (4/5): tired, wouldnt stay again, trying somewhere else near airport, 2nd time staying there, needs refurb - close to the airport for early morning flight all very tired and old, tatty in many communal areas, carpets shocking in entrance to hotel side
- Louise (5/5): Good location - Nice location Quite run down and shabby food was not the best
- Kate (8/5): Good and Convenient Hotel for Bristol Airport - Convenient location to Bristol airport, great price, great having restaurant on site with plenty of kid friendly options. Fantastically comfortable beds. Soft play sadly closed early, to be fair probably at a standard reasonable time, but having travelled down with our kids and arriving at 7:00 they would have loved to have played for a bit whilst waiting for dinner.
Dripping sink plug hole was mildly annoying.
The floorboards above creaked badly, and between 1-2am ISH it sounded like the people in the room above were having a party, running up and down the room, which woke us all up, and as such we struggled to sleep till about 3am, and had to get up at 4am for our flight.
- richard (10/5): -
- Tarran (5/5): Turn off the auto watering system, comfy otherwise - Great menu in the bar, room.very clean. Automatic flower watering came on and woke us all up at 2am!!
- Simon (7/5): -
- El (8/5): -
- SIMON (6/5): Good basic facility close to Bristol airport and by far the cheapest hotel in the Bristol and airport region. - Closeness to airport and as we we delayed on M5 the restaurant attached to the inn was open until 9.00 pm which was a great bonus. Food was exceptionally cheap and good value. Adequate parking. Free and right outside hotel reception. Reception not permanently manned and had to wait 5 mins for check in .
- Eryl (8/5): - Really good price and close to airport. Restaurant on site. Room wasn't very clean.
- Dodd (8/5): Exactly what we needed, great price and good food, but definitely get what you pay for so that’s fine. - Price and location Only 2 sockets in the room, no headboards, and visible peeling paint on the walls.
- Montse (7/5): -
- Caroline (7/5): - Hotel was OK. Restaurant and pub was abysmal Dirty tables covered in graffiti.
Feet stuck to smelly carpets. Food was warmed up slop
Dirty cutlery.
- Diane (8/5): -
- Dave (5/5): welcoming by staff & suited my purpose of stay. - Your staff were very good, the bathroom was very good, the towels were excellent & fresh smelling and the sheets on the bed were superb also. My only down side was the decor beginning to look very tired, seriously needs an upgrade - carpets beginning to smell a little and worn which would make it difficult to really clean. I have answered that question in my previous statement.
- Deborah (8/5): - Room was big and beds were comfy Restaurant wasnt amazing, service was slow, but having a soft play was a bonus
- Paul (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): -
- Danny (8/5): A good hotel in a good place - Friendly helpful staff, very comfortable bed. We were in room 3. The shower was weak, toilet flush was weak. We were in room 3.
- Steve (9/5): Enjoyable stay good location .. meals were very nice with a good choice the free parking was a bonus - Check in … dinner was good .. breakfast was good The bed could do with upgrading to a new double enjoyable stay value for mony
- Zoe (5/5): Underwhelming and disappointing - The property was in a good location the food was good value for money The property was dirty and in need of maintenance. The rooms were clean but tatty unfortunately and were quite underwhelming.
For the money the room I feel are extremely expensive but with some love and attention this would be a great place to stay.
- Fiona Ann Shepherd (9/5): - Lovely stay
Clean and tidy
- JENNIFER (4/5): -
- Mike (6/5): - Hardly any signal inside the hotel rooms and WiFi doesn't connect to xbox
- alice (9/5): -
- David (10/5): - Value for money Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Dawn (5/5): - Location was good . Bar staff were very rude and not helpful. Rooms arw dated , beds uncomfortable and move around .
- Chris (8/5): Value for money - OK. - The price of the room is and has always been of exceptional value. The receptionist was not there but after calling the buzzer, they responded immediately and attended the reception quite fast. All the staff I bumped into were courteous The food was well below standard. The evening meal, pie, chips, and peas, was not what I am used to with Greene King. The chips were very cold, no temperature to them at all. The pie, however, was so hot I burnt the roof of my mouth. The scolding was my fault, as I assumed, because of the chips, that the pie would be the same temperature. The breakfast, full English, NOT one item was hot. Everything on the plate was cold. Sort the Bain Marie or heat lamps out, well below temp.
- Breege (10/5): Lovely stay - Very clean and comfortable and food was excellent. Nothing.
- Dulcelene (3/5): -
- Tracie (5/5): Needs a refurb. - Good location for my stay. Staff in the bar were friendly. The rooms are tired looking, Bathroom need replacing the grouting is black around the bath. The chairs in the room and in the bar are stained on the seats. The bed was very uncomfortable you can feel the springs. The blackout curtains are so old the lining has disintegrated. The tables in the pub are sticky. The outside is untidy and not welcoming. The signage outside is confusing for finding the hotel entrance. Not enough staff in the bar and so service is slow and the food was warm not hot when served.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Simon (8/5): Excellent stay would recommend - Friendly staff. Great service. Reasonable price and would recommend especially for a early flight. Reception lady was delightful. We accidentally left a jacket which they have found and we will return to pick up. Good communication 😀😀😀👏👏👏👏 Nothing
- Stacey (10/5): - Fantastic play area when staying with children and food was fab... and location marvellous for airport
- Harley (7/5): Cozy comfortable nights stay - Nice and clean compfy bed and good sized tv Not really got a bad thing to say about it was alright
- Sophie (10/5): Perfect for our needs - Convenient
- Edwin (5/5): pre stop before flying abroad - Parking was easy Room was tired, restaurant was okay and food was fine but service poor due to staffing levels. Place was a lot further from the Airport as described.
- Dean (6/5): -
- Gill (3/5): Not to be repeated - Coming home Filthy
Food cooked badly
Miserable staff
Food options missing
- Katie (1/5): won’t go back - nothing everything
food was horrid
bathroom had a dirty floor
the bed uncomfortable and bed stank of stale urine
- E (10/5): It was a good for overnight stop - It was easy access for what we needed Clean
- Martin (6/5): - Great parking , nice room comfortable bed .
Evening meal was good. Everything looked a little tired and worn.
Cooked breakfast not that good.
- rob (6/5): - Great location Breakfast timing on the weekend was later so wasn't able to get breakfast due to commitments
- Donna (10/5): Perfect stay before flying - Very large family rooms. Very clean and comfortable beds. So comfy, I thought I might oversleep and miss my flight Just a minor thing, but more sugar, tea and coffee would be amazing
- Estelle (8/5): Comfortable, convenient, homely , great price and nice restaurant beside it. Plenty of safe parking! - Excellent room. Spacious, plenty of tops to put things on in the bathroom. Bath and a shower .Bed was comfortable. Hotel in a quiet location. Restaurant, Hungry Horse, welcoming and very good prices. Great menu. Good prices. Liked everything
- Jamie (10/5): -
- Tracy (6/5): - The room is nice for an airport stay over. The food is just shockingly awful and not a huge choice save for deep fried stuff, burgers and grills.
- Piotr (8/5): -
- Moss (7/5): - Location Rooms are very dated need an overall
- Stephanie (7/5): Average - Very clean but in need of a refurbishment Food wasn't the best order was wrong for evening meal and breakfast
- Alice (9/5): Brilliant for the price - Excellent for the price. Good size room, we stayed in a suite as a family which had one double and 2 single beds - all proper beds (no naff sofabed). Lots of plug sockets (although not near the beds), hair dryer, kettle with selection of tea & coffee all in the room. Room was clean but on the tired side - discoloured grout in shower, chipped paint on corners, that sort of thing, which doesn't bother me at all. Staff were friendly. Breakfast in the pub was excellent - they have black pudding as an extra which made my husband happy, and a selection of pastries, cereal, fruit, toast and yoghurt as well as cooked breakfast. Not the hotel's fault but sharing for guest awareness. Whoever was in the room above us seemed to be getting their very heavy steps in or something - walking back and forth across the length of the room - and the ceiling/their floorboards were very creaky. We tried to have a nap before heading out to a party and it was relentless and mildly infuriating, going on for over an hour. I had to put earplugs in. So just a recommendation to take some earplugs if you're sensitive to noise in case other guests are on one!
- Alfie (10/5): Amazing - Clean and good night sleep very quiet and comfy bed Bathroom was dated but all good
- Tidy (6/5): - The Room was a little dated but very clean and value for money All was adequate for my needs
- Lisa (10/5): - Proximity to Bristol Airport
The price was a bargain.
Loved the restaurant/bar area
- Luke (10/5): -
- sally (7/5): It was as expected gif the price - Easy to find No where to get food late night
- wayne (8/5): -
- Joel (8/5): Great value. Pub stopover - Comfortable nights sleep . Very quiet area . Breakfast was good value. Staff very nice. Nothing springs to mind
- su dalgleish 6 (8/5): -
- Hitchings (9/5): -
- King (8/5): -
- Sonia (8/5): Would book again - Spacious, friendly & pub menu Some noisy kids running up & down the corridor banging on doors.
- Sally (1/5): The hotel made no effort to make contact and made no effort to respond to my message. As a result, because we were arriv - Nothing Everything
- Gary (10/5): - I was absolutely happy with everthing they offered.
I can reccommend it to everybody.
