• Faro (10/5): - It has always been my favourite Guesthouse when I need to relax and getaway. It's my home away from home at this point, staff is so friendly and the rooms are so spacious.

• Justine (2/5): Dissapointed and Shocked. - The location was perfect. Close to the beach. The person who was suppose to meet us, never showed. Another lady opened the gate no idea who we were. Place was not clean. The house has alot of potential but the maintenance is BAD. Towels were dirty. Bedding you can see is outdated. Chair in room was covered with a dirty throw so that we can't see the dirty stains om chair. We have stayed in Blouberg, Camps Bay, Sea Point in the city and all was true as it was online. This place was dissapointing. No wonder it was on discount.

• Lauren-Tyla (3/5): Extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend staying there. - Location Staff incompetence, staff extremely noisy and on their phones watching social media while talking to us, noise levels, no milk or water in fridge, old empty coffee jar, broken shower tap. I would not stay there again.

• JOB (4/5): The place is in a secure place, house keeper was very helpful and hands one, our bedroom was the worst. Dirty, smelly st - Staff members are very welcoming. All thanks to some lady called Nokia. It’s next to the ocean Our bath tub was leaking, we could not use it. Their white bedding is very old and stained, with a terrible smell.

• Ioana (7/5): good for short stay and only to sleep at night - location close to sea safe area of the city bed was comfortable needs renovation, all furniture and shower are run down and almost broken amenities are scarce and cheap the place feels abandoned you can hear any noise in the hallway or outside, i slept with earplugs it is too pricey for what you get, but i understand it is for the location, in a good area of Cape Town

The room and rest of the guest house was clean. We did have issues checking in. No one answered when we rang the bell. We confirmed 14:00 check in, but our room wasn't ready. Even though we paid for parking, the parking was an issue. We ended up parking in the road. The front door doesn't close properly and being a windy night, it slammed literally the whole night and there was nothing we could do about it. The '4 star' rating was received in 2016 and has definitely not been reviewed since.

• Tasneem (9/5): I would love the opportunity to stay here again! - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this guest house. The room was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and impeccably clean, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to detail. The atmosphere and convenient location made it the perfect home away from home. I can’t recommend it highly enough! The only minor hiccup was that the door locks were a bit stubborn and required extra effort to open.

And the noise from the gate opening and closing was annoying. Management brakes forever to get back to u. Im still waiting to hear about my refund. I cancelled the 3 extra days with them.

The rooms are spacious and the balcony was a plus. Milk and coffee supplies are only for day one. Thereafter you need to buy your own.
• Mubeen (3/5): GUESS WHAT ? WE HAVE RATS - The location was perfect. Close to the beach. View from balcony was stunning. There were huge rats running around in the garden outside my room, so I couldn't leave the premises at night because of the rats in the street as well and I couldn't leave the windows open. Management did not respond to my messages or emails until I called them the next day. I checked in and there was no management or staff on sight for the rest of the night. Bed sheets my my skin itch and the bathroom pipes make this loud noise at night. It's so quiet and very at night u can actually hear the guy in the other room breathe. I will definitely not book here again..

Some rooms have the best views of ocean or of lions head. I always look forward to going back to the guest house and noki is always there with the beautiful smile and always there to help with any issue.If there is an issue.
