- Paige (9/5): Gorgeous, scenic stay. - The lodge was lovely and clean, very spacious for 4 of us, with an en suite in each room. Beds were very comfy. Absolutely gorgeous views with loads of places to go for a walk nearby. Even though you are nearby to the owners, we did not see them the whole weekend so still felt somewhat secluded - they left you to it which was great. Not too far from shops, a few restaurants etc so don’t have to stay in the lodge the whole time. The hot tub isn’t covered, so can’t really use it when it’s raining. Also, not necessarily a downside but no bbq stuff, so if you plan on having a bbq bring your own stuff. Also no sugar/coffee in the kitchen, but again just so people are aware to bring all of that.
