Guest Reviews
- John (1/5): I would have found somewhere else to stay if I hadn’t needed to get to the wedding I came to town for. - It was close to my event Grounds hadn’t been maintained in weeks. The lobby had the stench of cigarette smoke. The furniture was worn and dirty. The room appeared clean when entering but was a dump. The only thing good was it had clean sheets on the bed. Window glass broken out. No receptacles available, had to pull the bed out to unplug a lamp to plug in my phone charger. No where to hang up my clothes as I was attending a wedding.
- Parker (9/5): - Very nice and helpful staff. Clean rooms with convenient amenities in walking distance. I'm hard to please when it comes to rates, but they're willing to work with me so can't really complain.
- Robin (1/5): We did not stay. We left after seeing the Reuben and stayed at another hotel in Macon. - The lady at the front desk was nice It was in an area of boarded up buildings, shorts and towels were stained, bathroom was not clean.
- Lillian (1/5): worst hotel i've ever stayed at - nothing had problem checking in but ab out 30 min got booking.com password and she charged the room
there was problems with room - paint off walls, vent in bathroom pulled out of wall, shower had pink label, outlet in ceiling was hanging with some kind of paper. my sheets had stain. went to bed at 10 at 1030 the people that live extended stay starting talking loud, laughing and kid/kids scream loudly. i called office he said he would tell them. there was no room number on their door. the people got louder and did not calm down til 1 am. we were up at 630 am to go to event. no breakfast provided. man was working on building. i asked lady if they were remodeling she said no. i will not ever stay there or recommend anyone else to stay there. ice maker broken so had to go to restaurant to get ice. i have photo on phone

- David (5/5): Fine if you have to have a room but not a great sleep.a lot of noise all night by other guest Itbjnk they are renting r - Proximity to where I needed to be. Lots of noise by other guest. Obvious smoking of tobacco and marijuana use by other rooms. The smell was over bearing.
- Johnson (10/5): I'll be back - Very quiet and the staff was friendly
- Whitney (1/5): $120 a night for a $30 a night room - Nothing It was dated, not clean, they had to switch my room because the first one was dirty, the shower doors were even attached at the bottom, the tiles around the jacuzzi tub were molded and falling off, there was barely any lighting, the smoke detector was covered by a plastic bag, the list goes on. They had to check 3 other rooms to find one that was decent and I was too tired to drive anywhere else. The second room was clean-ish and the tiles on the tub were in tact.

- Riddle (1/5): Absolutely horrible and would not recommend to anyone as the place is filthy and uncomfortable to be in. - Absolutely filthy. Not just the rooms but the entire place. Our room had dirty sheets and was filled with smoke from the neighbors smoking marijuana. We walked into our room with the neighbor screaming at two small children who proceeded to smack one child. We immediately left our room to check out as I’ve never felt so uncomfortable. The front desk person acted like he didn’t care to be there and was rather rude. I requested our money back and we went to another hotel
- Ed (1/5): I did not stay after 10 minutes in that room. I am a Vet and stayed in some pretty bad places. - Nothing, I sent a customer service message of which I am waiting to hear back. The room was not satisfactory for a human to live in.
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly. Reasonable price. Quiet. Ice machine was broken.
- April (10/5): Family from out of town stayed here this visit. - My family enjoyed their stay here while in town for a short visit. This review is on their behalf. All around the most clean, peaceful, and convenient to local events, shops, and eateries.
- Lana (5/5): Passable -
- Laura (1/5): Horrible, couldn’t wait to leave. - Nothing, it was a run down nasty facility Everything, smelled so bad of people smoking weed, music playing all night, needless to say no sleep the first night, we had to be moved down the hall, smaller room and only one bed we paid for 2 beds, we were never offered a discount or refund do to the situation oh and the room we were moved to the bathroom light and ceiling had water coming down when the upstairs people took a shower so I had to bleach everything before using it several times. place I’ve ever stayed, really sketchy.

- William (5/5): Passable - Property was old locks on outside doors didn’t lock my room safety lock was broken towels sheets and pillow cases looked old and dirty
- Oquinn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tonya (5/5): Passable - That it was a cheap enough room and had availability on short notice There was a bunch of shady people hanging around the door that we had to go in. The hand rail going to the second floor was loose. The lady at the front desk told me that there wasn't a microwave in the room but will be there shortly and she would bring it too to the room. At check out there was noone at the desk and when the bell thing was rng Noone showed up. Definitely didn't feel safe there
- Joseph (1/5): Will not be back. - Location No coffee, no hair dryer, smelled awful, tv didn’t work, sink wouldn’t drain, stains on bedspread. Owner couldn’t speak English. Manager could.
- Mattiesha (10/5): I enjoy my stay there thank u so so much - Everything Nothing
- Sheri (2/5): You get what you pay for. - Location. Sadly, it’s the only place to stay in this town. Staff were very helpful and got me a hair drier as the rooms had none. So dirty. The linens and sheets in another places would have been used for rags because of the stains. The halls smelled like pot on one floor and cigarettes on the other yet there’s signs everywhere no smoking. Washer and drier weren’t working. Room had a brand new mini frig that didn’t work.
- Kayla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good - I liked the tv programs and it was very peaceful and clean. They didn’t have a coffee pot in the room or outside in the lobby. The rooms doesn’t have a refrigerator or microwave either.
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Location was great just a few miles from destination Owners speak very little English. Only 2 pillows on bed and no chair of any kind in the room. Had to drag a chair from lobby to my room. Towels are stained but clean. TV channels extremely basic, local air channels and all the shopping channels NOTHING ELSE.
- Anonymous (1/5): Horrible. - It was close to where we were at that day. It’s nasty. Like super nasty. It feels like jail with how nasty the sheets and pillows are. I have never in my life. I paid $85 for one night for disgusting.
- Eric (3/5): Even with inflation I feel like this room should have been $30 cheaper. - Staff was very nice and let me exchange my room that stank of BO for the nicer smelling room with the smoke detector yanked from the ceiling and wrapped in a plastic bag. Zero hassle. Very friendly and responsive. Everything was dirty and smelled terrible. I guess this is what you expect from a place called Budget Inn but there were nicer hotels 20 minutes away in Forsyth that seemed to cost about the same amount. Even if you absolutely must be in Barnesville when you wake up in the morning, it's likely better to rent someone's spare house.
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean the room
- Diane (3/5): Will not be coming back - The bed was comfortable The staff was not familiar with the general area. Said he was new. When I went into the building where my room was located the hall smelled like someone was smoking weed. It gave me headache. I got the room to go to a wedding in the area. Wedding stared late. I was nervous about the area of the hotel. Will not be coming back to this location.
- Brian (2/5): Will not stay there again. - Did not like much at all, other than the staff was friendly . The curtains were broken, the bed sheets and wash cloths were stained. The bathroom had missing vent cover and horrible paint job, also the shower door wouldn't close. The sink and counter was dirty.
- Rose (5/5): My son plays for Gordon state do we will be there slot for the home games - Location Furniture out dated

- Amelia (10/5): Exceptional - I like the fact that the room was clean it was a nice place especially for the price
- Anderson (4/5): Location was good! - Didn't eat breakfast No chairs in room, no phone, toilet over-flowed! and was no elevator had to walk up stairs, I am near 80!
- Kelly (10/5): Staff was accommodating and helpful. Perfect for what we needed. - Was close to where we needed to be and upon ratings, this one was the nicest!
The first room wasn’t as clean but we asked for another room, and they cleaned it just for us. management was wonderful. This is freshly renovated as a young man took over, and he is doing a wonderful job. The beds were comfortable and shower pressure was great! No complaints about location or property. It is being renovated still but there isn’t garbage anywhere. He is doing a great job taking this place from what it was to what it is.
- Melissa (3/5): Poor - good location air conditioner was leaking water noticied about 4am. the vinyl under the sink was coming off. Also the floor was dirty didn’t look like it been swept.
- Da (10/5): Exceptional -
