- Rachna anil (7/5): - property is good, near the sea beach, clean beach, can enjoy sunset from the property, restaurant has very limited variety or quantity in buffet breakfast, staff is ok, hotel taxi is not available
- Allister (8/5): Staycation with lovely sunset vibes - The location was simply excellent, perfect near the beach and excellent to walk out in the mornings There is nothing that comes to mind .. maybe adding a few additional facilities like a gym, pool etc. Might just help.

- Armando (9/5): Very calming experience with great staff to help out. - It was a great room with adequate air conditioning. Would have liked more mirrors upstairs, but other than that it was great. I would have wanted more mirrors and a later check out if possible.

- Satara (7/5): Pleasant stay friendly helpful staff - Breakfast was modest but satisfactory
Dinner a la carte was disappointing.and the Tramisu had to be turned away.
Meals must be improved Dinner a la carte could be better
- Khushboo (5/5): Passable -
- Valeria (4/5): Look for a better place - The food at the restaurant was very good. The rooms were clean.
Although the breakfast was included in the rate, we decided to take it in a village nearby.
The security men at the entrance were polite. The hotel managers are very rude. We asked if the hotel could organize a transfer to the property, the manager answered why we didn't want to take a taxi at the hotel we were coming from (what kind of an answer is that?!) I also asked for a later checkout (1 hr later) but got refused. I tried to negotiate and even proposed to pay a little extra but little extra was inadequate so we had to run from the village to do a checkout (the hotel was not at all full). Not that agreeing to a late checkout is a must for a hotel and I obviously do not expect it but so you understand - the word "service" is unknown here: no hello, no thank you, no smile - nothing. We had a non-refundable rate, otherwise we would have cancelled before even checking in and gone to a different place.
The bed was the worst bed in my life, had an impression you are on a boat in a stormy night with wood cracking noise and floating effect.
There was also some very pronounced & unpleasant smell in the room (may be camphor) and it was rather repelling.
The property is not charming despite being in the middle of the bushes and a beach nearby.
The hotel lives on a good reputation is has made in earlier days but now it is just a place to sleep (
- Vishal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sahithi (4/5): They did not change the sheets .cleanliness was not upto the mark and did not change the covers of - Breakfast was perfect Fruits could have been little more fresh.
Wish they had a restaurant inside too , it was hard to see dogs roaming and sitting under our tables.Kids were hesitant to eat at the restaurant
Also, there were limited options for indian food for lunch .

- Garima (10/5): Luved our stay in the resort ❣️🥂 - Location and set up done by the resort .
- Gurjeet (3/5): One of the experiences which tourists must consider while booking Thalassa. - Room was neat and tidy. Staff who was called to fix the safe was very well mannered and knew his job. 1. All procedures are mechanical, no personal touch or warmth by staff at any level except the restaurant manager - french lady. No greetings, no hi/ hello, as if it was a no mans land we were crossing through.
2. No beach, Rocky outcrop in front, one cannot access water.
3. Menu totally overpriced, nightmare for vegetarians as regards choice is there. Nothing Indian on the menu card- that's ok, but wait and read below.
4. Breakfast - total desi in contrast to other meals on card😂. Poha, pav bhaji, parantha, eggs😂. Paranthas were cut into triangles for reasons not known and appeared to have been prepared a night before. We had to order a fresh uncut parantha which took 15 mins and we were the only ppl having bfast. Pav were stale and hard, not chewable. Bhaji was scrumptious but it was aloo mutter sabzi, fresh juice was good. There is no buffer layout, you have to order and staff gets it from kitchen as a portion. You need more, you order again- for us it totally killed the fun of a sea side bfast.
5. Bfast table - before we could order from the ltd choice available, staff warned us that don't waste food - again with a long stern face - an extremely judgemental staff who probably would hv preferred flamboyant rich guests or foreigners or NRIs.
6. While we sat in the restaurant, it appeared from staff's body language that we are being judged for our looks, they had no clue who we are nor we wanted them to know😂.
7. While we reached to check in, it was pouring very heavily. Cab was parked right in front of reception, maybe 4-5 mtrs. 4-5 staff personnel were sitting in front under the quasi porch - none came to assist us nor offered any umbrella which were lying next to them in numbers. Sad it was. Same thing happened while checking out.
No assistance at all.
8. I really don't understand how come in hospitality business one can encounter such an arrogant or judgmental staff.

- Lisa (7/5): I found the manager very rude ( male ) if it hadn’t of been for the other staff we would have left . - The property was very beautiful Was on the beach .
- Javier (10/5): Best place in North Goa to relax and enjoy your holidays. Top service and staff. - Beautiful resort in the best location in North Goa. Cottages are very spacious and very well decorated. The cottages area is beautiful and very private with lots of greenery and just 1 minute away from the beach. Great food and drinks in the bar with a chill out area where you can relax in your balinese bed just in front of the sea. Staff and hotel management are very professional and polite. Top service. Everything was perfect
- Rithika (7/5): good but can be improved - Friendly and attentive staff no pool & limited food options
- Jo (6/5): Very good but could be excellent - The breakfast was fantastic both in choice and standard of food. The waiter service at breakfast was good. Although the staff were all very pleasant and friendly once you gained their attention it could take a while to catch their eye. The lack of attention was rather frustrating ( as I work in a 5 star service industry maybe I expected too much) you would order a drink but they wouldn’t remove your empty glass, on a number of occasions I received a cutlery basket with spoons and folks but no knives which was required, it took a while to get them.
Following breakfast I asked for a drink on the sun bed but was told no you have to have breakfast at the table, I wasn’t listened too. Lastly and sorry I didn’t realise til I left but I wasn’t charged for cake and coffee we had one afternoon, I will pay on my next visit to Ashwen, promise 😊
There are an abundance of staff so with some additional customer service training and maybe a restriction on use of personal mobile phones which seemed to distract them they could make the experience outstanding
I advised the hotel on numerous occasions it was our 10th wedding anniversary and I tried to contact them to arrange something but got no response from my emails when a friend contacted the hotel for us I was advised they only communicate via WhatsApp, reception confirm this as I had a problem with my WhatsApp this resulted in me not being able to arrange something for arrival. Lastly the steps to the room, down to the beach, restaurant are rather large so it was difficult for me due to having a knee problem.
