- Vanesa (10/5): Confortable - La amabilidad, muy atentos. Muy limpio y ordenado
- Lucinda (9/5): -
- Gonzalez (10/5): -
- Sergio (10/5): good place to stay near Bariloche, goods dorms and well equipped kitchen - Rooms and kitchen are very clean, staff very nice none
- Murray (7/5): Good - Cheap, nice staff. Comfortable beds I wasn’t a huge fan of the 2 x bathrooms for all the people staying there. The small kitchen too and unfortunately they add extra 5 USD to my booking.com amount upon payment. This happens at some hostels but not others across bariloche so i’m not quite sure if the business decides to add the 21% Tax.
- Moritz (10/5): Exceptional - Had a great time in this hostel. Comfy beds. Chill common area and really friendly staff. A lot of argentinian people, which I loved. Bigger sanitation areas
- Adi (8/5): Weird atmosphere, quite noisy at night - The common area inside and outside looked nice and inviting. Some of the volunteers working there were nice and helpful. When I was there everyone around me were volunteers and no other guests, so it felt like a community house that you intrude into as an outsider, rather than a backpacker hostel. So the atmosphere was weird and made me want to leave.
Also, it was difficult to sleep at night when you can hear noises all around you late at night from people (who probably don’t need to wake up early to travel) talking in the common area and outside, which made it impossible for me to sleep. The 2 girls in my room were very disrespectful when they were chatting inside the room most of the night and packing their stuff at 01:40 AM with the light on while I was trying to sleep right next to them…
- Yata (8/5): Very good -
- Kiak (10/5): Exceptional - friendly volunteers, homey feeling, good kitchen, tasty breakfast, nice location in the middle of nature close to a beautiful lake.
- Emilie (10/5): Great hostel in the woods - Amazing breakfast, with a great location near the Gutiérrez lake and the cathedral range, very accessible by bus. The staff was really nice, providing lots of advice on things to do and places to visit, and it was great to hang out with them at night :) Nothing, wish I could have stayed longer!
- Julidamico (8/5): Very good -
- Will (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colleen (10/5): Exceptional - Really good value. My dad and I shared a private room and we were able to reconfigure the beds to have enough room for us and all our ski gear. It was a convenient drive up to the mountain. It seems like it would be more difficult to get to the mountain without a car. But a guy we met was able to take Uber each day. Everyone was super nice and it was so comfortable. Nothing
- Adri (10/5): Best stay so far in Patagonia - The hospitality and relaxed atmosphere.
- Sari (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is amazing. In my opinion it’s the best hostel in the world! It‘s outside of town and close to lakes, mountains and nature.
The staff gives it a familiar vibe. I was here in summer and winter and I will come back again and again and again. I enjoyed both of my trips a lot.
- Emily (5/5): Passable - Good kitchen. Nice breakfast. Able to arrive by bus despite it being almost in the middle of nowhere. Pretty close to Lago Gutiérrez and national park areas, which I really enjoyed. Ah... I felt like a fish out of water here. I booked the place based on pictures, reviews, and its out-of-the-city location, expecting to be able to enjoy the living room, hammocks, outdoor areas... but the staff/volunteers played loud, heavy, sometimes screaming/head-banging music from about the time when breakfast ended until late in the evening. This seemed to be true every time I was on site, although it caused me to spend most of my time walking long distances to be anywhere else but on site. Different music would be playing in sometimes 3 different places, even when none of the staff were around. Everybody has their own tastes and this didn't seem to bother any of the other guests, but I found it very intense and unusual, given that nothing I'd seen indicated that this was the vibe of this place. I felt a little bit like I was unwittingly subsidizing the lifestyle/summer plans of the large number of staff/volunteers who live here. I don't typically find myself needing to write a review like this, but I really felt caught out here. I also found the way that they listed prices/did the conversion unusual, so it ended up a little more expensive than I was expecting.
- Holly (9/5): Clean & peaceful - It’s away from the main town & accessible by bus (bus stops at 10pm). It’s quiet and peaceful. Close to start of some hikes & very clean. Nice to have a bed that wasn’t a bunk bed for once too! Saw someone cleaning the bathroom regularly & all areas seemed well maintained Can be a little inconvenient getting back past 10 but not the end of the world.
- Alicia (9/5): Superb - Great hostel with incredible staff and people. The place was very clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. I chose the location so I could relax in the evenings and be in nature. If you go (and I recommend you do!) Try to sort your SUPE bus pass out before you get there. A x
- Gonzalo (7/5): Good -
- Sari (10/5): The hostel with the staff is amazing. - The staff is amazing, they are super friendly and interested in the people. They know the name from everyone and invited me and my friend even to a bbq.
The place is outside of the town but pretty close to the mountains and lakes. You can easily hitchhike to the town.
Beds are comfortable
- Emilie (10/5): Exceptional - Hostel with a very kind and helpful staff that welcomes you in a cozy atmosphere for you to feel just like at home. I have loved my stay at Cuatro Cerros at every level: the rooms are comfy, the facilities are super clean, the breakfast is generous and the location is peaceful. Another toilet/bathroom would be very useful!
- Mattv99 (10/5): Exceptional - The staff met us at the door and explained everything clearly. The atmosphere in the common area was friendly. It was very clean and comfortable.
- Vera (9/5): great - great staff, great exchange rate, helpful
- Magalí (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vincent (6/5): Pleasant -
- Salamanca (10/5): Great place near the hiking spots and faraway the noisy city! - The people there, my favorite time in Argentina, thanks to the staff guys, malena, sebas, nico, paulie (volunteer) they were amazingly kind people, the hostel is near most of the hiking trails and it's way better that the city hostels.
If you want to feel like home, then go there 😀 The people, internet connection, beds,
- Ben (10/5): A beautiful and welcoming place with a warm and friendly atmosphere. - This hostel was a really beautiful place. The staff were so friendly, energetic and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hostel was very clean and beds very comfortable. Its a fantastic location for trekking, nice and quiet, yet close to a supermarket. I couldn’t recommend this place more (and have been!). Nothing
- Pauline (10/5): The best hostel in Bariloche - The kind of hostel that make you feel like home 🥰.
The team that manages the hostel is awesome, we had a looot of fun and they are always there to help and share
The location is the best ! You are close to nature (15 minutes from a lago and near the starting point of several trekkings) and a bus is coming every 20 minutes to go to the city center (bus 50).
Important point : the breakfast ! The best I had in hostels. The bread and the cakes are homemade and delicious, there's fruits, nice coffee.... Que ricooooo
The rooms are comfortable and super clean. There's a kitchen with everything you need to cook.
You'll not find a better hostel in Bariloche
Male, Seba, Deisy, Nico : GRACIAS, you made this trip to Bariloche very special
- Trym (9/5): Superb - Lovely, small hostel owned and operated by a very nice couple! Easy to get to through public transport even though it’s far from town. Nice breakfast which is a good opportunity to socialise. Also give Ali some nice petting from me if you decide to stay!(He is the hostel dog) Only major problem is that there is only one bathroom in all of the hostel, but it is still manageable.
- Steiney (8/5): Good prize and closer to nature - I was there only for one night but it seemed fine. This area is so much nicer than the Bariloche town itself, nature is so close. There is a bus stop right outside that takes you to Bariloche and a supermarket fairly close since there aren’t any restaurants in the area really. It’s in the middle of a road so I would rather stay closer to Lago Gutiérrez. I think this is a good spot if you have a rental car.
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Kieran (10/5): a perfect stay - What a fantastic stay, thank you Nico for accommodating me!! Lovely atmosphere with some incredible people, we went on fun days out, ate excellent asado and drank lots of wine. Super homemade breakfast every morning.
Very clean and tidy place, very tranquil between the mountains, and an easy bus journey into town. Great laundry service too.
Thank you!
- Mateusz (8/5): This is very outside of Bariloche - nice big kitchen, quite place This place is very far away from center to get their you need to take a bus because it’s to far to walk
- Marce (10/5): Exceptional - Stay in 4 cerros, is like be in a warm home, owners are very Kind and special and without doubt is Just be yourself and find your kindless in the other trippers eyes.is Just share and try to live in community. I have never been in a wonderful place like this. Clean, with love food that makes your stomach happy and daysy, nico the blackie Pet is only one Word "love" thank you so much Marce.
- Wiebke (7/5): Overall a nice experience though. - Very nice people staying there and a very helpful staff. The beds where very comfortable. The breakfast bread and cake was homemade every night before. There was only 1 bathroom for the whole hostel and another one that was inside another room. Apart from that being quite little for a whole hostel, you where not able to lock the door.
- Hubert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (9/5): Superb - Super chilled athmosphere, a lot better thsn within Bariloche city. Clean rooms and bathroom, all very new. Good breakfast. All very organized. Bus connection (minibus) not too reliable, that's no point regarding the hostel, it's just a little difficult to get there. I only missed lockers.
- Svea (9/5): We loved it! - The breakfast was freshly made every morning including home made bread! The shared kitchen was really nice and a good place to meet other travelers. The staff was helpful and really nice! We enjoyed staying at the hostel a lot! A few more bathrooms would have been nice.
- Quinten (7/5): Good - Good atmosphere, nice staff Not enough bathrooms, too many beds in a single room
- Esther (9/5): Great new hostel with comfortable beds and great breakfast - Great host, breakfast is excellent, very comfortable beds and hot showers. All super clean. They are new and you can see they are really making an effort. The women’s dorm is adjacent to the kitchen, so it can be a little noisy. People were considerate when I asked to quiet down. I would recommend they enforce quiet hours after 10:30pm and/or soundproof the adjoining window and add curtains to all the windows.
- Alex (10/5): Wholesome, friendly, and great location - The place is super new and the oweners Nico and Daisy are super friendly and informative. I made a mistake when booking originally and they helped correct it and book again. The place has a wholesome, family feel. The location is perfect for exploring the nature and short walk to the lake. The beds are super comfy and the breakfast is tasty Few minor things missing like a place to hang a towel but nothing major
