• Jane (8/5): - Arrival.was easy and the welcome was warm and professional. Unfortunately the toilet overflowed while I was out and when I returned sewage was leaking into the bedroom . 20 mins after reporting it a maintenance man arrived .Unfortunately it did take 2hrs until midnight when I had an early flight , until it was sorted and then I was advised to use the shared toilet when I had booked ensuite . All staff were very apologetic and I was offered a refund immediately of which I am waiting for. Apart from this the room was perfect with cooking facilities and great location. Alot of noise from the bars below but stopped at midnight and it was then very quiet .

It is a kind of sharing apartment with your own room. But there is no information about it in the description. The AC is there but the wire is too short to plug in.

• Mona (6/5): Enkelt men centralt - Mycket enkelt boende men rent och fräscht. Fungerar för en övernattning men inte mer. Väldigt centralt läge men ändå tyst och lugnt. Lite krånglig incheckning eftersom personen som skulle ge oss nycklar inte dök upp på avtalad tid.

• Seyed Morteza (6/5): - Please don't book this place, if you can't bear the cold. I booked this place in middle of cold winter and the guy was in charge was saying, we don't provide heater. I was shivering all night put two quilt and got running nose. At least the staff can charge 5 Euro or more to provide heater. I thought Expedia has some standard and I am disappointed to book this place by Expedia.
• Geoffrey (6/5): - Good location close to old town and low cost but.... I had a deluxe room with bathroom. Part of the sliding shower door was missing, replaced by a curtain. Consequently the floor was soaked every time it was used. The WC was badly positioned next to the shower so you banged your knees on the shower. The WC was not fixed to the floor and moved! The bed squeaked terribly. The shared kitchen was ok but needed more cups and some wine glasses. There was no corkscrew but I bought one and left it. Would I book again, probably not.
• Aziz (2/5): Terrible room and comfort - Room not as showed in pictures. Terrible bed, toilet not mounted to the floor and moves, cleaning in the shower cabinet was really bad. Overall not a comfortable room or stay. You could hear everything in the rooms around you. It says 2 star hotel, But this is more of a hostel, where you Can choose private toilet in your room. It shouldnt have more than 1 star. Good location and average service.
• Megan (4/5): - The room itself was great for what we paid. Modern, not all pictures were accurate (no headboard as seen in pic) Bathroom was small but again for what we paid no complaints. The host met us and explained we had no heating (which wasn’t bothered about) but does say the room comes with it Got back to the hotel at 10pm after a day of travelling to no water in the room. Messaged the host which then told us it would be fixed in a few hours. No communication first to let us know, I had to ask Wasn’t fixed the day after so we were left with no water at all through our visit The host didn’t respond in the morning The location is perfect and the views of the cathedral are amazing for the price of the room. The host was very friendly and the room was simple but clean. Also the shared bathroom was clean. Thin walls but for one or two nights its a good deal. The location is unbeatable if you want to get the most out of your short visit in malaga.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Não vale só pela localização - Quarto tem cheiro estranho, talvez pelos lençóis muito gastos toalhas finas e velhas, colchão muito macio afunda e dói a coluna, Travesseiros duros e o cobertor é um tecido parecendo guarda chuva bem sintético horrível. As janelas vedam bem o barulho externo mas internamente houve-se até o ronco do vizinho. A localização é perfeita, tudo perto, mas só isso não vale o valor cobrado que é muito caro para um hostel conforto 0. Tem que renovar o enxoval e trocar OS COLCHÕES URGENTE!! e melhorar acústica das paredes e trocar as portas barulhentas. Esse Hostel tem tudo para ser maravilhoso, vocês ficam recebendo notas baixas faz tempo e não fazem nada para melhorar, só aumentam o preço Mas sempre lotado talvez hóspedes se iludem pelas fotos. Deviam usar metade da cozinha compartilhada que é gigante e pouco usada, para fazer um banheiro para o quarto ao lado. As fotos iludem demais e o hostel é sempre lotado por isso vocês não fazem nada para renovar. Enquanto estiver só faturando não vão gastar para melhorar. Ainda bem que na praia la malagueta tem massagista e salvou minha coluna

It was so bad we only lasted one night and then canceled through Expedia to book a new hotel. * We booked Deluxe Studio 35m2 but only get a normal room max 20m2. * The bathroom is so small I had to stand sideways to use the sink, and it smelled of feces from the siphon * In general, the furnishings are very worn, even the tiles are coming off the floor

My stay in this place was a nightmare! 1- They do not have reception and it is through msg. 2- The day I was due to arrive, when I was on the street calling on the phone, someone contacted me and told me (what a shame they had given my room to another person who looked like my name?) They never checked ID, passports and more... .. after 2 hours I revived my room at 8:40 pm wasted the entire afternoon and between them on the phone and the Expidia app, no one helps you! awful ! I told the girl that hers could help me with late check out and the owner of the business sent me a very ugly message about the policy that if I left later she would charge me. $20 per hour extra! please don't try any further there everything is horrible. Hola mundo ! mi estancia en este lugar fue una pesadilla ! 1- no tienen recepción y todo es mediante de msj. 2- el día que era mi llegada cuando estoy en la calle llamando por teléfono, Cuando alguien se comunico conmigo me dijera ( que pena le habían entregado mi habitación a otra persona que se parecía mi nombre ?) nunca chequearon id pasaportes y mas …….. después de 2 horas recibí mi habitación 8:40 pm toda la tarde perdida y entre ellos al telf y el app Expidia nadie te ayuda ! horrible ! le comenté a la chica que su podia ayudarme pa late check out y la dueña del negocio m mando un msj muy feo acerca de la política que si me iba mas tarde me cobraría. $20 por hora extra ! porfavor no tent mas allí es horrible todo
• Mohamed (8/5): Perfect last minute stay in malaga - this was a very last minute trip to Malaga and property provided all what was needed from affordability to the premium location for exploring the city from right within its heart next to Malaga cathedral and that was as central as it gets.?

• Verified traveler (4/5): Décevant: Beaucoup à désirer - L'établissement est très bien situé au plein centre-ville de Malaga. C'est son point fort. Pour le reste, l'établissement reste à désirer, surtout pour le prix assez cher payé. L'établissement est présenté ici comme un hôtel deux étoiles, mais ce n'est pas un hôtel, selon les dires de la personne qui fait l'accueil. (Pension). Le ménage n'a pas été fait le deuxième jour. Il paraît qu'il fallait le demander à l'avance, mais je n'ai pas été informée! (Il faut avoir le don de lecture de pensée pour le savoir, je suppose...) J'ai aussi dû payer un supplément de 60€ pour avoir une salle de bains privative. (30€ par nuit pour une salle de bain privative, c'est du vol!) Et le pire, du jamais vu, aucune consigne pour laisser mes bagages à l'accueil après le check out à 11h. Cela a été très peu pratique et m'a crée des inconvénients et des dépenses supplémentaires.
• Jan (6/5): - The room was not a pictured, with no headboard and no bedside table with lamps. No picture on wall. Only one pillow. Very basic. Very noisy air conditioning unit. Would be useful to have some hooks to hang up damp towels as nowhere to put them. Shelfs would have been useful to prevent using the floor for everything. The main door did not have a dampner on it so very very noisy during the night. Clean bathroom with a constant supply of toilet paper but with no shower gel. Perfect location.

• Leonardo Gaston (4/5): No era lo esperado! - El baño es compartido con 3 habitaciones mas y sin ventilacion. El colchon se hunde y la almohada es dura, muy basica. La puerta de ingreso del lado interno parece una camara de frio, no se abre con llave, sino con un pasador. La catedral esta a la vuelta y se escuchan las campanadas a cada rato, habitacion ruidosa y feo olor.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Bien - La habitación no estaba mal, aunque hay cosas que mejorar. Por ejemplo, la cama no es muy cómoda, almohada muy pequeña y la ducha es también muy pequeña. Está situado en el centro y eso está genial.

• David (6/5): Photos not real; old, needs updating. - My rating might be better if the photos of the place were real photos of the place. what I saw on Hotels.com are not photos of the place that I booked. So I have to say that’s a lie to clients. Very disappointing as the bed was not as in the photo and I found the bed to be lacking. That alone gives this place a poor grade. Furthermore, there was very little toilet paper and very few plugs. There was no sign on the street entrance which made me feel uncomfortable and doubting the authenticity of the lodgings. In fact how this place has three stars on hotel.com is beyond me. One star would be more than sufficient, perhaps even half a star would suffice. Overall, it felt old, it screams for the owner to invest some $ in the property to improve it, update it. Install new front door to replace the original door that’s looks super pasado.
• Clare (8/5): Basic but amazing location - Great little place, booked at very short notice, the location is fantastic, 2 floors up from the cathedral gardens, literally in the middle of everything, a fantastic view of the cathedral. The room is a little basic, no headboard, no duvet, 1 toilet roll but we were very happy with a stay and had everything we needed. Thanks to Bonnie for looking after our bags too!
