• Erica (10/5): Great value and comfortable - I stayed for several nights in the single room with no windows. It was very comfortable and I slept well. Even though it was small the space had been well thought out to make the space usable - bedside cabinet with lamp, corner wall mounted shelves, hanging rack and hangers. There was space to put my bag without getting in the way. Could lie in bed was aching the wall mounted tv. The room even had a small fridge and kettle with free tea and coffee provided. The room I stayed in did not feel stuffy , it had an Aircon unit but I didn’t need it. There is a small communal kitchenette area with dink, cutlery, kettle, toaster, microwave and bread & breakfast cereals were provided. It made a positive difference to be able to make simple food dishes and there was a table and chairs to sit at. There was a large communal shower and toilet room as well as a separate shower and separate toilet , which seems sufficient for the small number of rooms. The location is away from the city centre, though is well connected by #21 bus that stops right near the entrance and passes about every 30mins. Fare to city centre is £2.50. This place exceeded my expectations for the price I paid got it. I was greeted in a friendly way by hosts who live in the premises and care about the facilities provided. Often budget accommodation is about people having a bed to sleep in, whereas here the small touches make you feel the space has been planned by people who think about what they would want to have when travelling. This is the best value private room budget accommodation I have stayed in the UK. Nothing that I didn’t like. If I go again I would choose one of the rooms with a window as it is easier to get up in the mornings with natural light.
• hase (1/5): - We informed them about vehicle got puncture and would be late by half or 45 minutes but the time when we reached at 8.50pm they were closed and informed that the room was given to others. No one opened the door after ringing in office as no staff was there. We have called on personal number provided on outside display board but unsatisfactory answers that we are closed and you can complaint to booking.com as we already mentioned that at 8pm no staff for key handover. We were there for 30 minutes requesting for that they can impose penalty and give us keys but nothing happened. It's was too frustrating for us and we left the property driving again back to our home. No staff coordination even after requesting for delay in reaching the property due to unexpected tyre puncture of our vehicle.

• Owen (8/5): Lovely place and would come again - The bed was comfy and the room was perfect for me. Kathleen the host was lovely. She’s the first person who’s actually given me a tour of the whole place from everywhere I’ve stayed so that’s a great bonus The shower was very small and got hot very quickly. Not that much of a problem as the main bathroom was being used and it served its purpose

• Rania (10/5): Exceeded my expectations - The place exceeds the expectation in it's cleanness. The toilet is very clean and toiletries are provided with towels .room is very clean and has everything y need kettle hot water coffee fridge freezer and iron board and small table honestly I wasn't expecting this level for the price. I highly recommend the place and will book every week for my work trips
