- Davids (10/5): - The cottage we opted for with no electricity (only hot water) was the perfect romantic couples getaway. Candle lit dinners each night wasn't an option. Very clean and cozy with beautiful views. The farm manager and host was exceptional Our stay wasn't longer
- Mark (8/5): We'll be back but next time when its warmer, and to do the stargazing - cancelled due to weather - Due to the cold, we needed heaters and electric blankets but electricity tripped. Fortunately Janine was excellent to solve the problem with new heaters brought in.
- Emille (10/5): Super stay - The accomodation was very cozy and fully equipped with all the neccisisties. The host communicated very well and sought to all of our needs. She was super accomodating and ensure we were comfortable. Nothing comes to mind.

Even if it got a bit cold, the fireplace added lots of comfort and a lovely substitute for a TV screen. the cast iron stove is fantastic; maybe just more kindling required to operate it continually perhaps complementary firewood rather than pay as you use. even if just 3 bags a night.

- Jacques (6/5): Retreat to the old days in the karoo - Location was beautiful and charming. The farm and grounds are well kept. Cleanliness of the house was fantastic and appreciated. Enough supply of warm blankets and the room was cozy during the night with the assistance of the gas heater. Due to the fact that there is no electricity the lanterns and candle supply needs to be checked upon daily for example 2 of the lanterns could not be used due to the lack of wicks. Chandelier in the kitchen could not be used as the candles were depleted. They do advertise the facility with two beds (one sleeper couch located in the living room) but it is not ideal for children during the winter, as the room is extremely cold during the night. They do provide fire wood but at additional cost.
- Niel (9/5): Great value for money stay in Sutherland. - We stayed in one of the beautifully restored cottages on the farm. Clean, neat, and had all the amenities one requires for a weekend away from it all. Nothing.

Bathrooms clean. Great stay We couldn't charge our cellphones, we bought rechargeable lights The high bump on the grounds hit the car underneath quite badly
