• Stace&Will (9/5): Perfect location in Candolim 💖 - Lovely place. Ideal location. Very friendly staff. Good air con. Fab shower. Comfy bed. Lovely breakfast. Not a negative but the rooms didn't get cleaned routinely or bedding changed but as soon as you messaged Jack the manager he got the staff to come straight away. So please ask. Very helpful when asked anything. Nothing too much trouble 💞

• Tweddall (8/5): - It's clean comfortable all I needed Lacks atmosphere staff were great but never ever did we eat there ,could do better if a breakfast looked available but it wasn't inviting so we ate elsewhere, I asked for a cup to have a tea in my room but I gave up sorry but its like I said lacking something shame as its a fabulous clean hotel

• Ankita (9/5): Great, would recommend!! - Mujahid was an amazing caretaker. Made us feel so safe and comfortable, was always available on calls as well as in-person. Location was great, 5 mins walk from the beach. As two girls staying here, we felt safe and comfortable. Especially because of the security guard being there at night. Would definitely recommend. :) Was a slighter smaller room, however we weren’t planning on staying indoors as much so it was chill.

Definitely reccomend. I liked all. There is only a couple of things that could be done better - less noisy A/C, small working table for digital nomads needs and fixing elevator.

• Adarsh (10/5): A great 7 day stay - I had an excellent 7-day stay at White Residency. Everything was transparent and exactly as expected. Upon booking, the host sent me a video of the place, and when I arrived, it was exactly as shown—no surprises, which I truly appreciate. The Stay & Location The place was a cozy 1 BHK studio, and the best part was the washroom—clean and well-maintained. The location was fantastic—just a short walk from the beach and the main market area, which was my primary reason for booking. It made everything super convenient. Service & Hospitality A special mention to Mujahid, the caretaker, who was exceptional. He took great care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed—cleaning, extra pillows, and even arranging a cab for us at the last minute when our original driver ditched us before our flight. It's rare to find such dedicated and helpful caretakers. Amenities & Comfort The room had all the essential amenities—a refrigerator, water softener, and water pump, ensuring no water issues. There was also backup power, which is a great plus. Final Verdict If you're looking for a cozy yet spacious stay in a slightly premium category, White Residency is a great choice. The location is perfect, the service is excellent, and the value for money is unbeatable. Highly recommended! The only minor downside was the 1-ton AC, which felt slightly underpowered for the room size. However, keeping it on for a longer period solved the issue, so it wasn’t a major concern.

• Rachel (10/5): Fantastic Host - wonderful place to stay! - The property is situated as part of a lovely fine dining restaurant. The room was large,airy and very clean. The bathroom was modern with toiletries supplied. It’s in a fantastic location with the beach just a short walk away. Lots of cafes and bars to choose from just outside the hotel, however despite this it was still very peaceful at night. What stands out about this property is the host, Jack, and all the staff at the hotel. We’ve had regular communication with the host since booking. He was particularly kind when we realised we’d brought the key with us from the last hotel. He arranged for the key to be returned with no hassle on our part. The front door man and caretaker were extremely friendly and helpful. If we ever come to Candolim again I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again and would totally recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thanks again for a wonderful stay 😊 There was nothing to dislike

• Brian (8/5): Excellent 'room-only' option in Candolim - We booked 2 rooms, one for my wife and I and one for our daughter and partner. Both rooms were bright and airy, very clean and comfortable with a good shower room. The rooms are in a fantastic location above a well known restaurant (although there was no noise etc from the restaurant impacting the room) in the centre of Candolim. The hosts are friendly and provide good communication regarding arrivals etc. We would definitely stay here again The only downside was that we were not made aware that payment had to be made in cash on arrival.

Room interiors is rich minimalistic & vibrant, & washroom are squeaky clean & large enough. Refrigerator was working fine. Caretaker & Owner - was helpful & courteous, friendly conversations TV wasnt working, also we didnt bother to call up & caretaker or owner as it was quite late at night

Most important there tv doesn’t have any recharge.

• Savio (10/5): An unexpectedly super experience!! - It was a great experience . Jack, who is an excellent host, in his warm and welcoming manner, took care of everything and his attention to detail is amazing. The rooms were on the second floor with a lift facility. It helped so much as we have seniors in our family. They were beautifully done up with lovely furniture and soothing colours. The bathrooms were state of the art and everything was spotlessly clean . The location is perfect just a 3 min walk to the beach and a 3 minute walk to the main road. Good connectivity to Mapusa , Panjim and other beaches. Newton's a huge supermarket is immediately visible on the main road as you emerge from the lane as well as Delfino's too, another big supermarket, a little walk ahead. There are many good restaurants ,White Plate, Fisherman's Cove, Uptown etc nearby to try, some which have live music. Mujib who is present to take care of your needs is very helpful. Everything was so good that we had to extend our stay here which we did. A big thank you to Jack and team for making our trip special and memorable. Cant think of a thing we didnt like...

• Chanpreet (1/5): The experience cannot get worse - Nothing because despite confirming the booking on booking.com, the hotel gave the room to someone else. On booking.com, the booking was not cancellable and we would be charged on cancelation. However the hotel canceled the booking without even informing us. Once we reached the hotel we found out that we have no place to stay. This was an experience full of unnecessary harassment. Everything was horrendous. It was an unthinkable experience. It also made me skeptical about using booking.com. Unless booking.com enforces the same polices on both sides this will not work wirhout honest customers being cheated and harassed by opportunistic businesses. If booking is done through the app, payments should also be processed througt the same app to avoid honest paying customers being harrassed and cheated by opportunistic businesses.

• Surendranath (8/5): Very good - The location is quite secluded and doesn't have adequate parking for two-wheelers. Furthermore, the steps become very hazardous in the rain.

• Josh (1/5): Unbearable and dodgy - It was clean. There was a balcony. The electricity, including air con, fan, all lights and power outlets did not work for the entire night of our stay and half the following morning. During peak summer in Goa this is not acceptable. There was also no storm or anything that would cause such a significant power outage and everywhere else nearby still had power so it was an issue unique to our room. I tried asking the host what was going on but he didn’t reply until the power returned the following day which was far too late. There were also lots of aggressive dogs around the area who attacked us multiple times. Lastly, booking the property is strange and overly complicated, even on Booking.com. After booking, the host messages you, asking you to send him money out of booking.com which feels very dodgy and unprofessional. He then sends you to a hotel which has a different name so the whole booking process feels very suspicious.
