• Nicole (9/5): Cosy stay in Cusco! - Great location. The staff was so wonderful. Kept our room clean. Made us fresh eggs every morning along with the breakfast spread. Kept our bags while we hiked the Inka trail and arranged taxis. What a wonderful hotel. Floors are a bit squeaky so if you need sleep before a 4am pick up, can be loud. But it is a small hotel so not too many people at once, which is nice.

• Aran (8/5): Overall a very quaint and comfortable place to stay as we acclimated. - We loved the location. It was a short walk to restaurants and sights. Quaint antique building on a quiet street, with lots of character. The breakfasts were very good with many choices and staff was available 24/7 to help with any questions. Due to the historic age of the building, the walls were thin and you could have internal noise at night.

• 752duncanm (10/5): Friendly staff and super service! - We had some problems finding the hotel, because it is in a small alley and not facing the (bigger) street, so a taxi can not bring you all the way. But once we got there, we were welcomed very friendly. The building looks very nice and authentic. We had a spacious room, with lookout on the patio. That was also where the breakfast was, which was very good. They also come and ask how you want your egg. I loved the rainshower (for me, a good working shower and good bed are most important)! Only downsides were the tight space for the toilet and the room is noisy, so hear what is going on in the alley. The location is good, with just a 10 min walk to the main square. From Cusco we went to Machu Picchu, so we went away for one night and stored most of our luggage in the hotel. The staff was very helpfull with arranging the breakfast-package for our early departure and the taxi. When we returned the next day, we were recognized at the reception and got the same room we had before and our luggage was already in the room. Now that is service! And feeling welcome!

• Paddyberlin (9/5): Perfekter Ort - perfekte Lage - perfekter Service - Wir sind während unserer Peru-Reise 2x nach Cusco gekommen und nach dem ersten Mal haben wir das 2. gebuchte Hotel storniert und sind noch einmal hier eingekehrt. Das Hotel ist wirklich toll und in einem alten historischen Gebäude untergebracht, direkt am Kloster und Sonnentempel. Man kann die ganze historische Innenstadt von hier aus perfekt erkunden. Die Zimmer sind groß und entsprechend passend eingerichtet. Gefrühstückt haben wir immer im Innenhof und es war mit das beste Frühstück was wir während unserer Peru-Reise hatten. Alle Mitarbeiter sind zuvorkommend und vor allem Thon möchte wir noch einmal erwähnen, der immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. So wünscht man sich das. Es hat sich wirklich wie ein 5-Sterne-Boutique-Hotel angefühlt.

The breakfast was also excellent with a good variety of food available. The laundry service was also excellent.... İtems returned the same day for a cash fee. Taxi to airport was also arranged for a cash fee to driver. All in all very comfortable in a fabulous location and interesting building. Everything was excellent.

A couple of downsides, but definitely not major for us, the AC was not navigable and didn’t have a remote control. There was no bottled water in the room, but we were able to purchase some in the lobby. Overall, this place did the job and was a great value

• Jill (10/5): - What a lovely, historic boutique hotel! The staff was very kind and accommodating. We stayed 4 nights but not all in a row as we were off on overnight treks in between. They stored our luggage and had it waiting in our room when we arrived back “home.” Breakfast was wonderful also with fresh fruit, yogurt, breads and omlettes made to order. Convenient downtown location just a short walk to Plaza de Armes. I would definitely stay at Unaytambo again if I ever return to the beautiful city of Cusco.

• aldeilis (10/5): Quaint and friendy great value option in Cusco - The hotel is in a beautiful old colonial mansion with limited restoration and so a very authentic charm. The rooms are well-appointed and nice, with some quirks such as uneven flooring. Heating works well. Breakfast was basic but nice. The staff provided good, friendly services and helped us with laundry and the storage of our baggage while we stayed in the Sacred Valley. Overall, highly recommended and fantastic value.

They worked hard to make our experience enjoyable. The pick up from the airport during the night gave us so much peace of mind and the “bag breakfast” (since we were missing the continental one) was spectacular. The hotel itself was beautiful and we wound up wishing we had had more time there. We would definitely recommend staying here.
