Guest Reviews
- Anthony (8/5): - The location could not have been better. Easy walking to everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is beautiful, but could be better maintained. We reported some faults to the hosts.
- Maritza (9/5): - Everything Spider web in the master bed and had to call them to clean it
- Jacobus (8/5): We loved our stay! Best location and really comfortable! - The location, beds were great, felt safe, wifi great, amazing views. Provided all the basics like shampoo, bodywash, washing powder, olive oil, sugar etc. Heating was great. Please provide a matching set of plates and glasses.
- Cristobal (10/5): Excelente - Es muy acogedor, habitaciones muy amplias y l ubicación excelente Por poner un pero el sofá es pequeño
- Sharon (10/5): We stayed 2 nights and all was perfect. - It was beautiful, clean, and in a fantastic location!! Loved, loved, loved it!! Nothing, everything was spot on!
- Jenny (8/5): Nice spacious suite in a great location to walk to many historical sites. - Nice spacious suite in a great location. Quiet in the evenings.
Walkable to so many wonderful historic sites.
Great kitchen appliances and clothes washer are very helpful for an extended stay. Windows can open to catch a breeze.
- Katja (7/5): -
- Lesley-Jayne (8/5): A quiet oasis within the heart of the city. - It was very central and you could walk to everything. Great amenities and they supplied dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets etc. The windows were very soundproof making it a peaceful stay whilst being in the heart of the city. 😀 The smell from the bathroom wasn’t great.
- Juliet (8/5): - Location was great and apartment is very spacious. It is nice and high above the piazza, but with lift. Keyless door access was simple. Apartment in need of some TLC. Beautiful parquet floor in poor/loose condition in places, dining table top very cracked, woodwork around Aircon units makeshift and extremely easy to dislodge. Some shutters don't have clips to hold open (only noticed as was windy on our visit). Pans in kitchen a bit tired and not that clean. As others mention, there is noise from the piazza and rooftop bar opposite but didn't bother us enormously. Overall a good apartment but could be fantastic with some minor tweaks
- Kathleen (10/5): -
- Marcio Gomes de (8/5): Great location, easy to walk to all tourist destinations. We will return soon - Great location, very spacious room, perfect for a couple plus one children The check out time is too early, at 10am.
- Jacqueline (1/5): - The location and it was roomy. The toilet did not work for 3 days. There was an obvious water damage issue in progress that was ignored, which was swelling the floor that became severe.
- Elena (10/5): - Location it was so close to everything The kitchen layout, being it upstairs and the staircase was very narrow
- Ataf (7/5): Location was great but this wouldn't be my first pick - The location was excellent for touring around. It was lively in the area and felt very safe. Wifi was good and check-in/check-out process was very easy. The apartment was well equipped if you wanted to cook (we didn't as the kitchen was up a narrow staircase and not very inviting). The air conditioning!!! It was +37 when we arrived and the air conditioning was not turned on in advance of our arrival. The units were not very strong and so it never really cooled down, except for the bedroom by the 3rd day as we kept the door closed. We had to keep the dark drapes closed for our entire stay to keep the heat down, which made for a very dark/dull stay. The sofa bed was not very comfortable but i guess that's to be expected. Cleanliness was ok - wasn't terrible but the couch cushions all had stains and the entire place could just use a refresh. We were a bit jet lagged when we arrived so we spent more time in the apartment than i would have liked. Perhaps if we'd been out more, we wouldn't have cared about the darkness & cleanliness. Also, the restroom was a bit small for our family of four.
- Ho-Ling (8/5): It's a great spacious apartment to rest in after a day of sightseeing. - Good location, close to attractions. The washer didn't work and the AC's weren't strong enough for the summer heat but we slept comfortably at night.
- Leanne (7/5): Great central location - Location was fantastic. Central to many of Rome’s attractions and some great cafes and restaurants.
Spacious bedroom and living area. The apartment requires a bit of maintenance and needed a good thorough clean (especially the lounge, floors and shower).
There were electrical wires hanging out above the bathroom mirror and main bedroom - hopefully disconnected from power?
- Fabiana (8/5): - Localização incrível!
- Yin (2/5): Very disappointed! - Location. This apartment is in very poor condition, old and not clean at all when we got in. The sheets, beddings, and sofa were very dirty with a lot of stains. Many furnitures were broken. There were only three of eight light bulbs worked. The AC in the living room cannot handle the summer. Most importantly, the room is not secure as the owner/manager told us different codes and they had been used for other apartments in the same building.
- Sylwia (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment! Highly recommend it! We’re a tall family so going up the stairs to the kitchen was an adventure. Other than that, nothing negative! My son (13)loved being in the elevated, loft/kitchen area.
- Ghazal (2/5): Disappointed - Location is central. The only bonus. We clearly put in our reservation we had a family of 5 and submitted all 5 passports with correct date of birth, and messaged the owners multiple times that our youngest was 8! We also paid all the taxes for 5. Still we had bed for 4 and a baby crib. We were told the reservation was made for 4.
Very disappointed with service after we arrived. There is warped/sharp flooring in the MIDDLE of the flooring. We had to mark it with white stickers after my daughter fell and cut her knee. Imagine if an elderly person took that fall.
We all fell multiple times as well. I have photos of the flooring. Simple request such as additional toilet paper was not fulfilled (we were told the owner didn’t see the message…) and my own husband had to drain the air conditioning condensation MULTIPLE times just to keep the air running. Only the bedroom AC works. The living room unit needs to be replaced.
The towel in the kitchen was clearly not washed and stained. We have asked the owners and Booking.com to please refund a part of our stay. We could have easily booked a great hotel in the area for the same price. When asked for a reasonable refund we were told that “was not cool.” Very disappointing.
- Neill (9/5): Fabulous location - The apartment's location is unbelievable. You are 5 min walk from the Pantheon in one direction and 5 min from the Trevi fountain in the other. Other sites are all within walking distance. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing somewhere to eat with so many restaurants on your doorstep. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, and we would have found it unbearable without the air conditioning. The host Benedetta was responsive when we had a small issue. The downside of the great location is the noise during the night.
- Gary (9/5): Great location -
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Eleni (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (9/5): Great location, extremely nice (Wow) and very clean. - Great location, very clean, well equipped and really pretty!
- Maria (8/5): Very good - The suite room is spacious and clean.
The location is very central with lots of restaurants in the area.
Very near to the Pantheon, Trevi and St Ignatius Church.
The staff is very helpful and responsive. The kitchen is at the mezzanine kinda hard to go up and down but we managed.
The cup boards needs a bit of cleaning to throw some old stuff left there and the cook wares and plates needs to be cleaned properly.
- Jax (7/5): good location. bit faded glamour - the location was great. very central but when the windows are closed very quiet. very spacious. bed was comfortable. we didn't like the auto lock on the door. the deco was a little faded and tired. there was a strange flickering little light high in the bedroom which disturbed my sleep. there wasn't duvet covers on the duvets which we prefer. crockery chipped etc
- Gareth (7/5): Good -
- Diana (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Great location! - Location fantastic! Really made our trip to Rome. Damaged floor near bedroom 1. Trip hazard.
- Kate (8/5): Awesome Rome experience! - Soooo much space for central Rome. Stunning views, right above restaurants and cafes, was a little worried about city noise being right in the middle of a piazza but it also has shutters which shut out most of the evening noise. Everything was so close, We walked almost everywhere from the apartment. Could do with a few more instructions on how to use some things (like the washing machine and heaters/air conditioners), but no big deal in the scheme of things. We worked them out with a few quick messages back and forth from the company.
- Melissa (9/5): Superb - The apartment was an amazing size and in a very central and great location. Beds were comfortable. Host was extremely responsive. We had a situation that occurred but the host actioned on this very quickly. Thank you for a great stay!
- Kerrie (9/5): Superb -
- Evangelos (9/5): Superb - Location, clean The bed was not comfortable.
- Dawn (7/5): Good -
- Neil (8/5): Recommend 100% - Nice a clean….. central for our holiday…. Also very roomy. Staff were excellent and great that check in is all automated and tax can be paid by pay pal
- Naomi (9/5): Superb - Great location right off of the Pantheon and lots of places to eat. The manager was very accessible via booking and via WhatsApp. The place was bigger than I expected and cute. Make sure to visit the rooftop on the next door hotel, great cocktails.
- Natasha (10/5): Fantastic apartment in the heart of Rome - Couldn’t have asked for a better location!! Right in the middle of Rome, surrounded by everything you need.
- Robyn (8/5): Location Location. Gyy77 - Location Location Location! This apartment was very central & surrounded by a huge number of restaurants, monuments & churches. A good cafe was right at the door! The apartment had a lot of character & wonderful views from its position on the 4th floor. We were not given enough pre instructions to make our arrival smoother. The air con struggled with the summer heat.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Apoorv (9/5): Superb - Brilliant location. Luxurious apartment.
- Sylvia (7/5): Good -
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect for all the sites. Very clean and comfortable.
- James (10/5): Wonderful location - make sure you see the light show in the piazza every night at 9pm! - Excellent communication before we arrived. The partment's location is fantastic - 3 mins from Pantheon, 5 mins from Trevi fountain and in a beautiful piazza.
- Shawn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robin (6/5): Apartment was good other than the air conditioner was leaking - Location was fabulous Air conditioning
- Sonika (9/5): Superb - Coziness and location
- Maria (9/5): Excellent - The position of the Pantheon Romantic Suite was excellent. It was close to all attractions. When we wanted to go back for a rest it was very close to do so. The apartment has two bedrooms which comes in handy when you have teenagers. With the keycode entry we were also able to do seperate trips and not wait for the whole family to leave the apartment all together. Aircondition worked great. The view of the Piazza was amazing. Will miss some of the small concerts we experienced from the apartment window. Any problems Benedetta the Manager of the apartment attended very efficiently. Would highly recommend this apartment
- Robyn (8/5): Excellent location spacious and all possible amenities - Spacious and great location Both bedroom windows faced directly into a roof top bar and restaurant. There was no privacy The curtains were positioned such that if closed they blocked out the air conditioning. It would be simple to cut them shorter and have them in heavier material.
- Raf (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bergeron (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mario (9/5): Superb - Great central location and a close, easy walk to a lot of attractions. Spacious apartment, with air-conditioned rooms. Host easy to contact if needed. Shower head could do with replacing and water tends to spray on the floor.
- Angela (8/5): Marvelous Location! - I really liked the location of the property with access to great restaurants, rooftop bars, museums and attractions! We liked everything! Coffee shop right downstairs!
- Theodora (7/5): Central located Apartment with great people watching from the lounge room - Central location with plenty of people watching from windows with great popular cafe next door The apartment was a little disjointed with kitchen up tight stairs, bedroom was tight and door doesn’t shut with sofa bed in lounge as spare bed! A little noisy with heaps going on in streets and with popular store at door, need to push through lines to open door- make sure you hide code as you open door.
Location is great but busy!
Apartment needs a little freshen up
- Seb (10/5): Excellent location in the heart of Rome - Excellent location.
Great apartment.
All amenities provided. Nothing
- Nigel (10/5): Location, Location, Location - Location Location Location. It is close to most must see places with the Vatican City the longest walk of 42 minutes. The Apartment was as advertised and having the windows open at night listening to the sounds of Rome was something else. Initially the stairs to the Kitchen were slightly challenging but we adapted to them.
- Kristen (8/5): Location 10/10. Beautiful old world charm - The location was absolutely phenomenonal. Just a short walk to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon and a little further to the Capitoline Hill and Colosseum. The location was absolutely 10/10. We dined at a little restaurant just a few doors down called La Locanda del Tempio which was amazing as well. Taxi rank was just around the corner too and a short ride to Roma Termini. There was nothing that went awry that the host didn't immediately attend to. Bernadette was very responsive.
- Dana (9/5): A magical place that takes you back in time . A true Roman experience - This is a very authentic Roman experience ... the suite feels certainly like your home away from home except you are dropped in the middle of history in the magical , surreal city of Rome.... the building and the apartment are beautiful and the location and views are unmatched... the hosts were so attentive and took care of any issues we had. It was a dream to stay there .... It is a bit loud in the area - but for us it was part of the charm. Great rooftop bar right across the street - stunnily beautiful but also can keep you up at night , along with the noise of the people in the Piazza ... but all part of the exciting pulse of this amazing city.
- Philippa (5/5): Passable - Location, privacy and washing machine Dirty bedding (the bed was made with clean sheets but the blanket was a dirty stained blanket/duvet without a cover).
Extremely poor water pressure in the shower
- June (9/5): WONDERFUL STAY IN FANTASTIC LOCATION - Excellent location, very central. Bedrooms spacious and beds comfortable.
Lovely soft towels provided. We found there was insufficient comfortable seating for three adults.
Only the amount for 4 persons in cutlery, pottery and glasses.
We had trouble with the shower with poor water flow and difficult to gauge correct temperature with unpleasant fluctuations.
- Imke (8/5): Top Location, walking distance to All attractions. -
- Richard (8/5): Amazing apartment in Rome - Fantastic apartment in amazing location. Trevi fountain 5 minutes in one direction, and the Pantheon 5 minutes in the other direction. Amazing restaurants on the doorstep and nearby. Also local express super markets if needed. Communication with the host was extremely simple. We were a family of 5 with 3 girls aged under 8. Our youngest (4 yrs old) slept in a large cot with the 2 others on the sofa bed. The apartment is large and has plenty of room to relax with a great kitchen in the loft. Beds are a little firm, but after a day's walking in Rome, it wasn't noticeable. The apartment is keyless entry which made it feel extremely safe and secure. Shower was slightly small.
- Michael (9/5): Great location with plenty of room for 4 people - The host greeted us upon arrival. The apartment was clean and roomy. We had 4 in our party, and we had space for meals, games and places to visit. Overall you will enjoy the location of this property. Frankly there was nothing not to like about this property. The host communicated quickly to answers questions and provide the check-in details.
- Greg (10/5): Superb Apartment and Location - The location was superb, right by the Pantheon and lovely restaurants and bars. Apartment was tastefully decorated and two large double bedrooms, bathroom with bath and over bath shower. Kitchen in case you want to eat in.
- Ana (9/5): We are happy with the experience! - The location was perfect. The comunication with Benedetta was very efective and helpfull and quick. We missed a little a carpet with all the information about the surroundings, but all we wondered asked we to Benedetta and she helped us a lot.
- Carla (8/5): The apartment was very spacious and it was in a great location. We were able to walk to every destination that we wanted - The apartment was very spacious and it was in a great location. We were able to walk to every destination that we wanted! It was equipped with everything that we needed. The curtains were quite sheer so the light came through easily which would make it very bright in summer! Quite a few light bulbs weren’t working which made the living area really dark. There was a lot of noise late at night (which was to be expected staying in the city centre).
- Willis (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): Would stay again overall! - Location so close to everything Shower corners were leaking due to a gap with the glass door
- Thuy (10/5): absolutely a pleasure to stay. - beautiful appartments. Very central location. All Rome attractions are within walking distance. Check-in instructions are very clear and spot on . Benedetta, the hostess, is very attentive and quick to reply. None . All goods
- Tammy (8/5): Very good -
- Ione (10/5): Perfect central place to stay for 2 couples within walking distance from almost all the best sightseeing spots - The location is absolutely perfect. The apartment is very nice and comfortable
- Kasia (8/5): Great comfortable space and location, just needs attention to a few maintenance items. - Excellent location, spacious apartment, lovely views, clean and comfortable. Couldn't find any written house rules to know what could be used and or what was expected. I couldn’t get the bedroom tv to work, it powered on, but no channels or streaming services. There was a washer/dryer, but wasn’t able to get the detergent into the tray, kinda awkward. Some floor tiles were loose and popping up from the AC condensate overflow.
- Vanessa (7/5): Good - Amazing location!!!! And staff were extremely helpful and prompt
- Sia (8/5): Very good - Location Lift did not work & we had to go up and down stairs to level 4 including with suitcases for two days despite telling the host it was out of action.
Also, our room was accessed without notice during our stay.
- Burdett (10/5): Excellent! - Perfect for our family. Spacious and clean. The kids loved it. Very quick responses to any questions.
- Karen (9/5): Superb - Location was ideal.
The manager was wonderful. She sorted doing our laundry when we discovered the washing machine door was not functional.
The windows were great at cutting the noise during the day.
The air conditioning kept the apartment cool.
Lots of whiteware: kettle, toaster, nespresso machine, sandwich toaster, and a blender or juicer (not sure which and didn't use). The shower was small.
The stairs to the kitchen were quite steep, but that was good for my fitness in the end.
We never cooked on the stove.
There was only one plug for all the lovely whiteware.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - We absolutely loved the location, it was the perfect spot to see all of the major sights in Rome. Lots of space, I would recommend this apartment for families.
- Doica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joyce (8/5): Very good -
- Annettej (7/5): Great ambience and very good location. Has a lift. - Excellent location. Appreciated the lift to 2nd floor. Great ambience with the windows open, with sounds from lively Piazza drifting up. Quiet at night once windows shut. The door access. By the end of our stay we were nervous every time we left the apartment that we wouldn't get back in. The battery in the fob was dying, host seemed unconcerned and suggested we replace it (we didn't, we didn't have time to go searching Rome for batteries).
The kitchen area had only one power point. The apartment is nice but it is not as elegant as the photos might suggest. Weird smell in bathroom but that seems to be common in Italy.
- Daniel (9/5): The best location to stay in Rome - The best location we have had in Rome and would stay again! Amazing restaurants and attractions at our doorstop that made it really easy with three young kids. Only a small negative was that the beds weren’t setup for us and we had to put the cot together but that was minor and the staff were excellent. The building was a bit mouldy and getting renovated but fine for us - the location and the size of the apartment was excellent.
- Sarah (10/5): great! would definitely go back! - location was amazing, property was spacious work going on outside at the time, but can’t be helped
- Yair (9/5): Superb - Nice apartment and well located. Everything was fine
- Paul (4/5): Great location, lots of drawbacks. - The apartment is located in a terrific spot, close to the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain, as well as many restaurants. Benedetta, the host is fantastic at communications and was very helpful with arranging shuttles, etc. The apartment is on a busy street and the single pane glass windows do little to mask the noise. Also, the apartment upstairs is also a short term rental and with hardwood floors, any noise made above booms in the space below. The beds are decidedly uncomfortable. We were unable to get much sleep while we were there. There is a black colored mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. Someone really needs to investigate that.
- Mark (10/5): Amazing property. Amazing owner. - Everything was fantastic! It was a superb place to stay right in the middle of everything.
The owner was fantastic and super helpful.
I can't recommend this place enough. Nothing. It was all brilliant.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Gabriella (10/5): best location in Rome!!!! - the location was perfect!!!
all clean and comfortable all was perfect
- Dimitra (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment bigger than the pictures. Very comfortable and central. You can explore all Rome walking. We loved our stay. Everything was great.
- Denise (9/5): perfect location. lovely apartment. the street noise was a small compromise for a great location! - location was excellent the street noise
- Paraskevi (10/5): Exceptional - The location was amazing! At the very heart of the historic center, everything was at a walking distance. The hosts were very kind and provided everything needed to make our stay enjoyable!
- Jen (8/5): Great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of it all! - location was amazing near Pantheon, Trevi, etc and beds were comfortable. view of the square was charming (even with temporary scaffolding) and musicians in the afternoon/early evening made for a quintessential Italian feel. Bathroom shower not so good
- Shannon (10/5): perfect location & lovely apartment! - superb location within walking distance to many popular spots. The only place we took a cab was to the Vatican and Within 1 mile to Colosseum. Property is up many flights of stairs but there is a convenient elevator. Beds were very comfortable; apartment is spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again. We loved it.
- Leyman (10/5): Exceptional - The location is amaizing.
- Svetlana (7/5): Good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Location is perfect for first time visitors. It was right in the middle of everything. Nothing
- Despoina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hess (7/5): location was perfect and the host was great! - You can’t beat the location! it was perfect, close to everything and in a safe area! Inside was clean and spacious! Beds were comfortable! They were doing maintenance outside of the building that blocked our view and we were not informed of this before booking, that was a perk on the site, that we didn’t get to enjoy, but location made up for it! Water came out brown and cold for the first nights stay but improved over the stay but water pressure in the shower and tub were weak!(old building and plumbing I assume) nothing we couldn’t look past!
