• Salima (10/5): Super séjour dans ce havre de paix - Nous avions tout l'étage de la maison pour nous terrasse comprise. Nos hôtes sont d'une gentillesse extraordinaire avec la petite samuela qui nous servait d'interprète. Le petit déjeuner était bon. Le dernier jour nous devions partir très tôt notre petit déjeuner nous a été servi comme d'habitude et le papa de samuela a eu l'extrême gentillesse de nous accompagner à la gare routière. A proximité il y avait tous les commerces utiles. À 20mn de marche très agréable se trouve les vieux centres de berat véritables chef d'oeuvre d'architecture. Ne pas rater le château difficile d'accès mais la visite en vaut la peine Honnêtement tout était à la hauteur de nos attentes

• Jan (8/5): - Very friendly owners, nice comfortable appartment, fantastic breakfast. Overall we were very satisfied. Kitchen isn't much equipped, some basic kitchen equipment would come in handy, like e.g. spoons or a knife. On the other hand the owner makes great breakfast so you do not need to rely on kitchen in the appartment.

The facilities were comfortable and clean The food was excellent It was possible to walk to Berat city center in 10 mins The decoration is old fashioned (but still comfy)

Ma il must di questo soggiorno sono stati gli host: la fantastica Samuela (9 anni, spigliata, simpatica, conoscenza eccellente della lingua inglese, con una pronuncia da madrelingua) e il suo papà, persona distinta, gentilissima e disponibile, con buona padronanza della lingua italiana. Ci siamo sentiti a casa, come tra amici di lunga data, e, dopo ore dalla partenza, ci sta ancora dando consigli preziosi tramite whatsapp. Straordinari, appunto! Stare troppo poco per non conoscere meglio loro e la loro bellissima città (e i suoi dintorni).

• Buddhike (10/5): A home from home - We just spent 2 nights here. Very comfortable and clean. We had a super nights sleep after a long day out. All the amenities are hereincluding a washing machine. It's very close to Berat. Either a 2 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk. The best part though is the wonderful family. Really friendly and go out of their way to help. Great homemade breakfast. We had dinner there which was authentic home cooked food The whole family was lovely but a special mention for Samuela. A lovely young host who translated for her parents and was so friendly and a real pleasure to chat to. She was the star! 😊 Looking forward to coming back.❤️ Nothing
• Stephan (10/5): Exceptional - Super nice hosts. The daughter was the translator, speaking an excellent English for her age. They even drove us to the castle at the top of the mountain for free. Very calm and quiet area and a nice breakfast. Thanks for the nice stay.

• Mikal (10/5): Exceptional - The upstairs apartment in the family house with parking on the gated property. We stayed for two nights and it was perfect way to visit Berat. It's short walk to the centre of the city. We also dinned in the house, if you get that offered i suggest you go with home cooked food!

• Lejo (4/5): Not recommended for families with kids - Place is calm but not far from city centre. We visited here for one night with two families. The place is good, and the host is wonderful. Unfortunately, our entire stay was spoiled by flies in the room. We didn’t know the host adequately cleaned before we arrived. Every second, we needed to wave our hands in the air. The food served in the room was fully occupied by flies. It was completely messy. Even the food served was not impressive at all. Homemade chicken in casseroles and salads cost more than expected. The kettles were not too clean.

• Bořecká (10/5): Amazing! - - the place is so cozy and lovely, we felt super comfortable and slept like babies - the hosts are so nice and welcoming, the daughter of the owners welcomed us and explained everything, she was super lovely - definitely pick this place, it is 100% worthy
• Mizuki (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was large and very comfortable. The family own this apartment were sooo sweet and warm. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. It was a great stay and so memorable. I would love to stay here next time when I visit Berat !! :)
• Ana (10/5): Simply fantastic - Samuela is an incredible young lady; her and her family are very welcoming. The house is well equipped. The beds are super comfortable. Everything is clean. The place is quiet. My only “but”, as a light sleeper, was the lack of blinds/shutters.
• Quinten (10/5): Exceptional - We had a very warm welcome at this place with a cup of tea and coffee, then the family drove us to a local spot in the river to go swimming. They were very open and hospitality was very important. After our night we got a fresh breakfrast with homemade products and fresh products straight out of their garden. It felt like we were part of the family during our stay, the accommodation was unique and beautiful. Definitely recommend this local warm experience.

• Vilhelm (10/5): Amazing - We were passing through Albania on our way home to germany and what a pleasure to visit such a nice and welcoming family. Samuela the host was exceptional in giving us a warm welcome and we and our kids enjoyed talking with her and she even showed our kids their yard and house animals. Samuela sure has the future ahead of her in the hotel buissness :) the breakfast was very good also. We felt relaxed and very welcome at Samuela’s cozy retreat. Nothing, we loved it.

• Elnur (10/5): Cozy Indeed! Highly Recommend - Samuela and her family were incredibly sweet, warm, welcoming, and hospitable. We had an absolutely wonderful stay, with a phenomenal breakfast, and lovely conversations. Next time we're in Berat, we'll absolutely pay them a visit. I'd highly recommend it. All was superb.
• Pam (8/5): Gracious hosts, comfortable space and great value for the price. - Host family was warm and friendly and very helpful. On our first night we were invited for conversation and homemade wine. Algert had great tips for places to see in the mountains around Berat, and Samuela was an excellent interpreter. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had a washing machine and necessary materials for cooking there. Overall we had a good stay and it was a great value. The location is a bit outside of town, not bad if you have a car but a bit far to walk. There was a nice balcony but the view from it was of an abandoned building next door.

• Alnasir (10/5): We had a most enjoyable stay here. Thanks to our wonderful & caring hosts. - The location is a self-contained apartment above where the hosts live. The place is well built, well equipped in the apartment and spacious. It is a 2-bedroom largish apartment; and we were only 2 of us so plenty of room. We did not use the kitchen facilities as we ate out all the time. Breakfast is quite large and plentiful, with fresh tomatoes, cucumber, olives, eggs, bread etc. Hot water was abundant, and we loved the hot showers. We had a car and they got us to park the car inside their secured compound; so, it was safe. The best part was the hosts; and 7yr old Samuela who speaks English and takes care of communicating with the English-speaking guests. She is amazingly wonderful. The whole family is amazing, and they go out of their way to take care of their guests, answering all questions and requests. We had a most enjoyable stay here. Thanks to our hosts, There was Nothing that we did not like. Everything was great; and everything worked fine.
• Viktoria (10/5): Very nice Apartment, with a nice family and Samuela is the best English speaking host! - It was a nice apartment above a family's home where the little girl Samuela was the main host with her amazing English! What a delight! The whole family was very attentive. The apartment had everything a family might need, even a washing machine which I took full advantage of. The breakfast was a fiest. I was able to park inside the fenced in property. The place is only a few minutes drive away from downtown area. If you come in this area, you should definitely stay here! the neighbor's dog was a bit loud during the night, but I don't think that can be changed.
