• Paweł (10/5): - A beautiful Riad, perfectly clean and comfortable. Very good location- close to every interesting place. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was beautifully served and delicious- the best we had while visiting Marocco (compliments to the lady who prepared it ❤️). We highly recommend Riad Alech!

Die Besitzer wohnen im Haus und sind sehr aufmerksame und herzliche Gastgeber. Es gibt nur vier Gästezimmer und eine schöne, windgeschützte Dachterrasse. Nicht geeignet f Menschennmit Gehbehinderung.

• Alexandre (9/5): - Hôte chaleureux, et emplacement parfait pour visiter la ville, dans une ruelle peu passante. Nous avions un étage complet du riad avec la chambre que nous avons occupée. (Salle de bain sur le même étage et d'excellente qualité). L'accès au rooftop est également appréciable.

Très belle décoration La chambre familiale est un peu étroite pour poser ses affaires, mais le fait d'avoir le petit salon devant la chambre est un vrai plus en terme d'espace.

Nadia's breakfast was delicious every morning. Highly recommend for a stay in the beautiful Essaouira. Everthing was great.
• Maxime (10/5): Great Stay in Essaouira - We had a great time ato Riad Alech. Christophe and Fatima were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They even greeted us with a small gift, which was a nice touch. They also gave us some good advice about exploring the city. The breakfast was full colours and flavours (homemade). The location is good as well about 5 to 10-minute walk away from everything. Overall, we would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a cosy, authentic riad away from the larger, more impersonal places. nothing
• Alastair (8/5): Clean and stylish riad in the medina - Beautiful riad, really well looked after, lovely breakfast. Super nice and spacious bathroom. The riad is really like a B&B, you have a floor of the house (in our room anyway). Cash only! I think this should be made clear on the listing. Some noise from the alley at night. The B&B feel is cute but at the same time you are quite aware of living in the owners’ space.

• Audrey (10/5): - Un super endroit pour un séjour a Essaouira. Fatima et Christotphe sont deux belles personnes qui nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et avec simplicité. Nous nous sentons comme à la maison. Les chambres sont super propres, très mimi. Eau chaude et pression dans la douche ! Nous avons tester l'offre hammam et massage proposer par le riad : n'hésiter pas une seconde, nous avons passer un moment d'exception. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux ! Nous reviendrons sans hesiter chez Fatima et Christophe pour un prochain séjour a Essaouira. Merci encore

Ils ont à cœur que le séjour se déroule bien et c’est très agréable. Et bien sûr merci à Nadia pour son super petit déjeuner, son service et son couscous ! La terrasse du haut est bien agréable avec sa vue sur la mer. Il n’y a rien à redire tout y est: l’emplacement, la propreté, les conseils, le confort…. Bref on s’y sent bien!

• Mark (8/5): Very good - Fatimah is a great host and Nadia’s homemade breakfast was amazing! We spent two nights there. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. The Riad is located on a very quiet street and you can tell that it is well-loved and looked after. We didn’t see much of Essaouira because one of our daughters was poorly when we were there so hopefully we will be back again in the future. It would be good to have proper pillows for the double bed. But apart from that, everything is perfect!
• Chiara (8/5): Very good - Cozy very small riad, just 3 guest rooms, you get an impression of how Moroccan families live in the medina. The owner Fatima is very welcoming. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Much smaller than in the pictures on the website and certainly not as bright! Our bedroom was just a little bigger than the bed. We are both tall so it felt very tight. If available ask for the room with a window that opens on the outside.
• Nia (10/5): Wonderful, warm hosts and great location. - My life will be poorer for not seeing Fatima every day now I have left! Despite not sharing a language (my French is very bad), she made us feel completely welcome and made a huge effort to be warm and friendly. Christophe is also lovely, speaks more English, and helped us with all the practicalities. We were able to leave our luggage at the riad when we went for a final few hours in the city before our transport to the airport. Comfortable beds and decent enough shower. Nadia (I hope that's her name!) serves a plentiful, tasty breakfast on the peaceful terrace. The riad is in a great location in the medina, but still a tranquil space amongst the hustle and bustle. The furnishings are a delight for the eyes and you can tell that this is a well-loved home as well as a riad for guests to stay in. The room would be a bit small for a long stay or if you bring lots of luggage (though ample storage is provided by way of a cupboard in the room).

The location was ideal, and Nadia’s breakfast each morning was a highlight, adding a personal touch that made us feel right at home. The property was well-kept, with thoughtful details that made our stay even more enjoyable. It was all perfect!

Bathroom was brilliant and everything was very clean. The location of the riad is perfect in the middle of the medina, close to the harbour and the beach. We booked a room for 4 persons. The room was quite small for 4 adults. Also the beds were small. It would be a perfect family room for a couple with younger kids.

Spacious and well furnished bathroom. Excellent breakfast with self made jam. There is a rooftop terrace with view on the Atlantic Ocean.

• Rob (10/5): Exceptional - A really beautiful Riad, wonderfully furnished / decorated in the heart of the medina. Our family room was itself relatively small, but right outside is a lovely sofa and seating area in the light airy heart of the Riad, and the private bathroom a few metres away was large, beautiful and well equipped, so we had plenty of space. Fatima was a great host checking we had everything we needed, and the breakfasts were excellent with fruit, omelette and freshly home-baked pastries, pancakes, etc. Roof space with seating / loungers, etc. was well protected from the wind (though note - no view to speak of). Good location, up a quiet alley between the shopping streets and the accessible city wall. Well away from the mosque, so finally I didn't get woken at 5 am! An easy walk to the main beach, or the fishing harbour, which is a must for seeing the amazing variety of fish on sale. A wonderful end to our Moroccan holiday.

• Maya (9/5): Superb - Riad Alech was an incredibly beautiful and convenient place to stay. It was really clean and comfortable, with some lovely homely touches, including small gifts for the guests. Fatima was helpful and attentive throughout. She doesn't speak English but it wasn't a problem because she used Google translate to translate from French to English. Breakfast was delicious and we'd also recommend eating dinner in the riad, as the chef Nadia is an incredible cook, as well as being incredibly warm. Everything was lovely!

I travelled by myself this time and felt truly at home with them. The breakfast is traditional and great, the food by Nadia awesome, and the location is right in the heart of the Mellah/Medina and traditionally appointed very tastefully. Highly recommend. All was great. No complaints.
