• Dakota (10/5): A Paradise in Poas! - Green noise glamping is truly a paradise! Perfect to decompress and just enjoy time away. It is huge and super spacious- really beautiful inside, a fast check in and out and a super great host who communicates any problems (for example- the internet was down due to the rain). We LOVED our stay and so happy it is per friendly as we really got to enjoy it to the fullest. The area that surrounds it is majestic and there are close really affordable and beautiful restaurants near by! The facilities were great- super modern with hot water and enough blankets! Just a suggestion would be to add a stove, but for one night - we didn’t mind buying food out. There is a microwave which is immensely helpful. Not that we didn’t like it, but just to let people know that it is in the mountains so windy and and cold- and the tent makes noise- but that is being a path of nature which we didn’t mind.

En oordoppen want als het hard waait maakt de tent wel veel herrie. Prachtige omgeving met nog een leuk restaurant in de buurt. Vriendelijke eigenaar die je vooraf voldoende instructie geeft. We loved the cosiness of the tent, the outside seating area and the beautiful setting too. It was really well equipped with great attention to detail. Excellent communication with the host and a hot shower too! We loved everything about this beautiful place! A great end yo a fabulous holiday.

• CaritoRojas (9/5): Hermosa opción cerca de la city - Es una acogedora habitación bien equipada para pasar unos días de desconexión del ajetreo de la ciudad o del día a día, para conectar con la paz, tranqulidad y naturaleza. Queda cerca de la ciudad, de fácil acceso, en un barrio hermoso con preciosas vistas y muchas opciones para comer. Sumado a eso, están atentos a cualquier pregunta y ofrecen varias recomendaciones de restaurantes y actividades. Definitivamente volvería.

• Angie (10/5): Hermoso y acogedor - El glamping era tal cual las fotos, pequeño pero con todos los implementos necesarios para tener una estancia cómoda y agradable. Es un lugar hermoso y silencioso, para pasar un buen tiempo de relajación. Se podría mejorar la conexión del wifi ya que es débil e intermitente, de igual manera en el lugar hay buena cobertura celular.

• Rene (9/5): - Wunderschöne Erfahrungen am Fuße des Vulkan mit Blick auf San Jose zu übernachten. Alles etwas einfacerh aber ausreichend und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Nicht so abgelegen wir man vermutet, Restaurant und Supermarkt relativ nah (dafür daß man hier auf 2.000 hm ist). Wir hatten leider etwas mit Ungeziefer zu kämpfen, aber ja ist halt am Ende doch ein Zelt.

Cuarto de baño pequeño pero perfectamente equipado y con sitio para dejar las cosas. No tuvimos problemas con el agua caliente en la ducha, como hemos leído en otros comentarios. • Andrew (10/5): Beautiful glamping dome in the foothills near Poas Volcano surrounded by birds and nature - The room itself was very fun and well-appointed with a small kitchen and bathroom. The windows of the glamping dome overlooked the foothills of Poas Volcano. We were surrounded by nature with numerous birds in the forests nearby.
• Fabian (9/5): Die beste Glamping Erfahrung mitten in der Natur und am Fuße des Vulkan Poas! - Die Unterkunft war super schön und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, man hatte alles was wir brauchten, sogar eine Mikrowelle und eine kleine Kaffeemaschine. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat uns im Vorfeld alle wichtigen Infos per WhatsApp zugeschickt, sehr einfach und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden immer wieder kommen! Gerade die Lage, mitten in der Natur und so nah am Vulkan Poas muss man unbedingt beachten! Es war sehr windig, so war es aber auch vorhergesagt laut Wetterbericht, deswegen hat der Wind sehr an unserem Zelt gerüttelt und es war laut. Dennoch haben wir gut geschlafen und uns sicher gefühlt.

The glamping tents are decorated lovely and well appointed. The host even provided us with an electric heater as she felt it might get too cold at night. The kitchenette offered more than we expected. The close by Alboral café & bistro was a great plus with nice views and outstanding food. n/a

• Victoria (9/5): Experiencia única - La experiencia de un Glamping en medio de la naturaleza es increíble. Está muy bien cuidado y limpio. Al ser bastante frío por las noches está equipado con estufa y varias mantas que son suficientes para estar cómodo. Despertarse a la mañana con el sol saliendo y viendo todo el paisaje es hermoso. Lo único es que si su plan es comer y cocinarse en el lugar, no tenía demasiadas opciones de utensilios y el espacio de cocina es bastante chico.

Namiot wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne, łazienka z prysznicem oraz mały aneks kuchenny. Wygodne łóżko. Gry planszowe na umilenie wieczoru. Rewelacyjny kontakt z właścicielem.
• Guest (7/5): Außergewöhnliches Glamping im Dome - Es ist eine außergewöhnliche Location, und bei schönem Wetter hat man einen tollen Blick. Man ist für sich und es ist sehr ruhig, wenn kein Wind weht. Das Wetter - hat aber nichts mit der Unterkunft zu tun. Es war alles in Ordnung, leider ist der Dome etwas zugig, aber mit dem Ofen geht es. Das Warmwasser in der Dusche war etwas schwach. Sobald man das Wasser stärker aufdreht, wird es kalt.

• Alice (5/5): Awful Customer Service Ruined the Experience Completely - Cute area with a few tents (note the view is nothing special). Facilities include bathroom with shower, sink/running water, and fridge. They provided some coffee for the morning. Not too difficult to find. Wifi was OK. Location close to Poas so ideal for an early start. There were several bugs around. Not the biggest deal but something to be aware of. The winds were extremely strong so it is very loud at night, which is a bit unnerving. There is no one around - they contact you through Whatsapp only. The biggest problem was their payment instructions - they sent 10+ texts with instructions and payment information was buried into one tiny line, so I did not realize they expect you to leave cash somewhere random in the tent. (As most people stay in many places on one trip, they should not expect people to remember whether they need to leave payment or whatnot.) This is easily fixable by asking me to pay later but they hounded me with frantic calls and texts every hour that I did not receive because there is no data in the area and then tried to upcharge me with an extra fee afterwards. This made an otherwise decent stay extremely unpleasant and annoying, especially as they should know that many people would not have signal in the wilderness once they leave WiFi range. They tried to send a payment request through Booking but then changed their minds and gave me a paypal address and then never confirmed that they received payment after another dozen texts and calls hounding me for it. The key to each tent was left on the door - very significant lack of security as anyone could have entered any tent. There were what looked like construction workers in the morning around which was a bit weird as well. Water was just lukewarm enough to shower but definitely not hot.

• jade (5/5): - We arrived quite late in Costa Rica but didn't want to stay the night in San José, which is why we decided to go to this glamping spot. The owners were friendly and helped us find the place late at night. It was extremely cold... We understand you can't change the weather but you can make sure the tents are comfortable. The pillows, blankets, carpets on the floor were damp from the cold and the wind was blowing through the tent which made it really really cold. When we asked for new blankets they did send us some but this wasn't enough. In the morning, there was only hot water for one person. This was not a good start of our holiday. I assume this glamping spot is really nice when it's also warm outside but they should accomodate better for the cold.

• Jeimmy (7/5): Una estancia fría pero el lugar es bonito. Lo importante de la actitud. - La vista de la naturaleza por la mañana del lugar, la privacidad del lugar. La ducha no funcionaba bien y el agua es literalmente casi helada. Si llegas tarde y quieres darte una ducha, no es agradable no tener agua caliente, o tener que estar llamando para ver si se soluciona el problema cuando estás de viaje en pareja. De igual manera la anfitriona trató de solucionarlo.

• Octavio (5/5): Para una noche puede valer. - Ubicación. La habitación guarda mucha húmedad y no había sistema para ventilar o calentar. Muy frío y húmedo. Sólo con efectivo cuando la reserva dice que se paga en tarjeta. Cepillo de dientes usado en el baño.
