Guest Reviews
- Trevor WHAM (9/5): - Lovely location in some of the most beautiful sheep farming country in NZ. Quaint cottage with deer out the back door. Plenty of space. Good bedding and kitchen facilities. Generous and friendly host. Nothing to dislike. We would happily stay again.
- Taryn (10/5): A beautiful homely feel surrounded by nature - Loved the set up. It was lovely and warm when we arrived and fully stocked. I wish we could have stayed an extra night to really take in the quietness and beauty of the place.
- Raffael (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - Ideal country stay. Great setting with beautiful views and literal hands on contact with the farm animals. Only detraction was no washing facilities available. If staying more than a couple of nights the ability to wash your clothes is important. Driving to town to use the Laundromat is not on your wish list.
- Callum (9/5): -
- Megan (9/5): lovely relaxing rural feel - with all the comforts you need - the owners had the room reqdy
- Kim (9/5): A lovely place to stay and value for money - It was a lovely, quaint and peaceful setting. Had everything we needed to be relaxed and comfortable. Lots of lovely extras such as the candles, marshmallows etc. We could easily have stayed longer if we we able to.
Loved seeing the animals.
- Susan (9/5): Great stay. Highly recommend. - Great communication. Lovely spot. Our host warmed up the house for us as we got there late evening. Very nice welcoming touches.
- Norman (9/5): Great rural location, cosy and comfortable, would recommend - Not much to look at exterior but beautifully renovated homely interior. Everything we needed for an overnight stay. Appreciated the owners thoughtfulness on putting heater on prior to our arrival. Great quality bed linen, electric blanket and hot water bottle. Very special to have sheep and fallow deer just outside. Very quiet. Be aware that you’re a few kms away from Taihape so be organised with food Taihape is really chilly in winter!

- Rafael (9/5): great host, great place - Great location, clear instruction, beautiful scenery. Waking up to deer and sheep hanging out in the backyard was great!
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Location was lovely to look out of the windows on a frosty morning. Immaculately clean everywhere. Easy location to find. Heaters where plug in ones, so took a while to warm the place up; heatpump would improve wait time maybe...

- Eugenie (8/5): Quiet, easy to find rural property with lovely facilities inside. - The inside of the property was lovely. Very good furnishings, linen and towels Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside didn't do it justice.. Not awful but could be brightened up a bit to reflect the facilities inside.
