Guest Reviews
- Sydney (10/5): - Très confortable, très accueillant je recommande
- Jeannie (5/5): ThiB&B is not ready for guests. - Breakfast was a joke. Dry cereal, yogurt and bread. Not even toast It was very difficult getting there. Very narrow one lane dirt road. Shared bathroom with host family.
- Clancy (1/5): We will never trust Bookings. com again. shame on you. No reflection on the hosts. They tried to hel - After our experience in Doolin where we had confirmed reservations from Bookings.com and we showed up and they had no information from you folks, we choose not to try again in Galway. We were no shows.
- Kari (4/5): - Cleanliness and decent breakfast Location is not Galway as suggested, 50 minutes beyond, noisey, hot water didn't work and the sink wouldn't drain. The owner didn't make it clear that you stay amongst her family. Not a good value for the price. Property seems to still be under construction.
- Norman (7/5): Almost impossible to find without postcode (which is H91WFD7) - Warm welcome, comfortable beds. We stayed in the family room which we were surprised to find had no windows (only the en-suite has a window).
We were recommended Tigh Lee to eat but it certainly was not open on the Monday night we were there (we ended up driving back to Tigh Phlunkett on Lettermore island before we found somewhere to eat, Even this had a very limited menu but what we ate was very good [pizza]).
Despite full payment back in February the actual postal code was not supplied until the morning of our stay (and as I didn't check my emails whilst on route I didn't find it until the next day). For reference it is H91WFD7. We arrived on Lettermullan and found directions to property as supplied by booking.com did not take us the right place which was not helpful - the owner of the house we thought might be Aran Views (but wasn't) said others had also turned up at her house! At this point with no internet signal and very little phone signal we were not too happy. Thankfully we did eventually manage to phone and the lady at Aran Views sent her son to come and navigate us to the proprty.
Having had a long day travelling our initial impressions were not good although overall it all got sorted in the end.

- Annette (8/5): We enjoyed our overall experience. - It was very quiet. Really liked the clean aesthetic of the house. It was nice to visit with the host as she was in and out for her family. Breakfast was simple but everything we expected. There were a few times where we could smell cigarette smoke. The WiFi was pretty well nonexistent. The room was warm but there's also no window for cross ventilation and it had been a warm day.
- luigi (8/5): Isola di lettermullen - Luogo particolare e molto bello
Staff gentile e disponibile
- Roman (7/5): -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Allison (7/5): For a trip to West Connemara or the Gaeltacht summer colleges then this is a good choice. - Lovely and clean room with everything we needed The en suite wasn’t available to us due to a problem, but we were informed in advance. The solar panels weren’t working properly and so the radiators were on even though it was very hot, but that was just unfortunate.
- Niamh (10/5): Comfortable and Welcoming - Excellent
- Michelle (8/5): Cait is lovely. Room modern and very comfortable beds. - Location was like another world !! An experience.
Amazing views everywhere you look.
Very comfortable beds. Disappointed with no full irish breakfast but I think that is the way things are now ??
I like being able to open window when sleeping....window could do with catch to open a little bit.
- Wendy (10/5): Lovely home and the owners make you feel very welcome - Breakfast was lovely . The location for us was hard to find Nothing could have been better
- Bernadette (8/5): Very nice. Lovely location, very comfortable and clean. - Very nice. There was a problem with our ensuite bathroom, needed to be fixed so couldn't use.
- Benjamin (10/5): Very nice :) No complaints only compliments :))) - Very nice :) No complaints only compliments :))) Very nice :) No complaints only compliments :)))
- Martins (8/5): Very good -
- Mattie (5/5): Passable - Surroundings are beautiful Lots of little things. Only window in bathroom, but no blind, narrow extremely soft bed, nowhere to hang towels. Breakfast could be better.. Kids were loud till late.
- Graeme (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely night, stunning location. Would recommend
- Miriam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suzanne (9/5): Superb - Lovely hosts. Cool location.
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional - Cait and her family welcomed us in with comfy beds, a bit shower and breakfast in the morning. Enjoyed visiting with her and the other travelers that were staying there too. We took a great little walk down to the sea. We enjoyed our stay!
- Celine (7/5): My birthday - Cosy To far from shops
- Angelique (10/5): Exceptional - The location was stunning Nothing
- Baltzer (9/5): Superb - I missed the info that said it was so remote. Saw Galway and expected it to be closer to that town.
- Adil (10/5): Pleasant - Very nice views in a remote place, clean inside and good facilities. Nothing
- Krzysztof (3/5): I do not recommend this facility. - really cool place, you can feel the real Ireland I don't know on what basis, this facility was given permission to use the B&B name even in the regulations that must be met in order to have a B&B, this facility does not meet them. The biggest problem is that there are no windows in the rooms, the only one is in the bathroom but note it does not open, so if you want to air the room you open the window in the bathroom because there is no ventilation in the room. Then as the name suggests the facility offers breakfast but note that these are continental, you find out after you arrive and the choice you get is the cheapest products from Dunnes Store. Really for €170 for two people I expected a better breakfast and especially since there will be a window in my room. Another thing that shocked me is that in the morning there was a very strong smell of cigarettes in the corridor.watch out for the mattresses, they are mega awful spring ones, I don't know how long they've been there but if you sleep with another person on the bed and you want to turn over, be careful because the springs are worn out and they may sleep on the floor.
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional - The landscape near Aran Island Everything beatiful
- Alan (7/5): Good - Beautiful location. Eircode to be on the address. Hard to find.
Would have been nice to have option for a cooked basic breakfast.
- Anupriya (7/5): Good -
- Chiara (6/5): Good place for a one night stay. - The location was great, absolutely perfect for a nice hike in the area. The view is beautiful. There wasn’t any towel rails or shelves in the bathroom.
- Crystal (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location. Friendly host.
- Zsolt (8/5): Very good -
- Marketa (10/5): Exceptional - A great place on the Lettermullen island!
- Philippe (6/5): A room with no view - Nice welcome from the host Breakfast with no warm dishes
No windows in the bedroom
- Ian (10/5): My family and I wanted to be close to Galway but be able to experience true West Coast Ireland. Aran Views provided both - The host was very welcoming and the accommodations were very nice. The room and bathroom were modern & beds were comfortable.
I highly recommend Aran Views! My family and I agreed we will be back again.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iveta (7/5): Good -
- Riikka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alina (1/5): Would never recommend - Fantastic view but you can't see it from the room as it has no windows. The road to the house is rural and narrow. Before you go there you have to think about your dinner as there is no pub or shop around. The room is tiny. It has only beds. There are NO windows! No chair, no hanger, no wardrobe, no even shower gel. Electric shower with warm but not hot water. The breakfast is very basic - cereals, toast, butter, tea, coffee, yogurt. We paid 200 euro for 3 people. The next day we stayed in a 4-star hotel whit Jacuzzi in the room and an amazing breakfast for 180 euro.
- Marinella (7/5): Good -
- Louise (8/5): Very good -
- Tamas (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful view, quiet place. Great hosts. Everything new and clean. All good there. Cant complain.
- Niamh (10/5): Exceptional - House was in a beautiful location in Connemara with beautiful views. The room was newly renovated and spotless, beds were very comfy . The host had an area upstairs outside our room with a couch and tv and a coffeemaker and hot chocolate which was something both myself and son really enjoyed. A home away from home....The host was v friendly and v welcoming. Continental breakfast was available for us the following morning. I told the host I was coeliac which she kindly accommodated me with fresh fruit, yogurts and gluten free breads which I was delighted with.
We were visiting our daughter attending the gaeltacht so was ideal for this purpose or if you are touring Connemara.
I felt that the photos online didn't do the property justice. It definitely exceeded our expectations. I thought that every effort was made by the host to have everything 100%. We felt that we had come across a really lovely place and will definitely be returning. Nothing
- Veréb (10/5): Exceptional - Everything looks good and clean like on the pictures. Bit far from everything .Roads are bad .
