Guest Reviews
Was will man mehr.

- Susan (10/5): Worth the money, fantastic location, blissful 🙌🏽 - Absolutely everything, not a single bad thing to say! Will definitely be back. Thank you so much for having me!
- John (10/5): A very enjoyable and relaxing week was had. - A very cosy and snug apartment, ideal for two people. The property is situated by the lough and within walking distance to all the shops, bars and restaurants that Killyleagh has to offer. Everything was fine.

- Chris (9/5): A great stay in a lovely quirky flat close to Strangford Lough - We liked the eclectic furnishings and decor of the flat and the small, but useful balcony overlooking the front of the property. The furniture & bed is comfortable, there is plenty of light and everything was spotlessly clean. There was plenty of space, the kitchen already had salt, pepper, tea, coffee & sugar, a carton of fresh milk and a couple of boxes of cereal and there is a large supermarket only 5 minutes walk away for more supplies. The pub downstairs is excellent and full of character. Parking is secure & right outside. The town of Killyleagh is charming with walks around the harbour and along Strangford Lough. There's is plenty to see & do in the surrounding towns & countryside and there is an excellent museum in the town devoted to the life & works of Hans Sloane, of British Museum fame. Everyone we met was charming, chatty and willing to spend time with us giving advice about what to see and things to do. We would definitely stay here again. In the evenings there we could sometimes hear conversion from the restaurant below the flat, but the noise was never intrusive and it was all over by 10pm. Not a problem IMO.
- Celine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (9/5): Great wee place - very comfortable- ideal for a relaxing holiday. The restaurant was only open Thursday to Sunday , lovely smells drifting up. We didn't manage time to eat there - next time! a couple of ovenproof dishes would have been useful, for heating things up in the oven.
- George (10/5): Too short a stay - Location was excellent and the apartment was all we would look for. Friendly owners
couldn't have been more helpful. Great restaurant and bar below. Killyleagh is a beautiful village. no dislikes
- Hazel (10/5): A lovely stay, great night's sleep. Both lively and restful in historical area. -
- Nigel (9/5): Nigel and Joannes wee Getaway - The apartment was first class, the picture of the bed highlighting the apartment , no wonder. We have never slept in such a comfortable bed ever.
Spotless and clean, 1st Class. Nothing, we loved it. Only thing we dont like is having to leave

- Nathan (10/5): Comfortable and relaxing stay - Clean, well layed out, good attention to detail, comfortable, all amenities provided, right beside the water. The owner is a gentleman
- Niall (8/5): Very good - Good location. Nice clean apartment above the Smuggling table restaurant. Edda is nice lady and the staff at smuggle table restaurant are friendly. The food is delicious. We definitely be back again.
- Gillian (8/5): Quirky and different - The apartment is quirky and different and bed is huge and comfortable.
Owner very friendly. Had issues with the doors. Keys kept sticking and took me ages to get doors locked and then reopened.
Even my friend (man) found it difficult.
Also the kitchen is not the best, no actual hob and expected to use a plug in two ring hob like a camping stove.
Saucepans are in a box in the top of the cabinet.
Water in sink is very low power as is the shower
- William (10/5): Perfect stay - We couldn't have asked for a better host who was super helpful and friendly. In addition the cheese, crackers, wine etc was a nice complimentary touch. The place itself is brilliant with spacious and comfortable facilities. 5 stars
- Ward (10/5): Hidden gem. - We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Dibney Rig. It is a spacious apartment oozing with character and tastefully decorated. We had a little difficulty finding it the first time, maybe because it's located over a lovely little pub and award winning restaurant called Smugglers Table. The apartment was equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the bed was really comfy also. Special thanks to Mervin, the proprietor who was warm and welcoming and left us wanting for nothing. It was our first time in Killyleagh and we were amazed we found this picturesque village with its little fishing port and 12th century Castle. A well-kept secret. We would highly recommend a stay at The Smugglers Table before the world finds out about this beautiful place. Didn't want leave
Would have loved to stay longer.
