- Abbie-Jo (1/5): - Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights. Upon arrival my partner noticed that the living area was covered in black mould and damp. I immediately messaged the “owner” who said that he would forward this onto management, since this I have heard nothing from the owner who is quite frankly rude and abrupt in his responses.Throughout our two night stay we did not hear a word from either the owner of anybody from management. Due to my health conditions I was unable to use the living area as anybody of sound mind knows that black mould is not safe to breathe in. After our two night stay I was contacted by management and was specifically asked “how would you like the issues to be resolved?” I asked for a 50% refund due to the fact that I was unable to access the downstairs facilities. This was declined and since this I have been ignored. If you stay at this lodge and have an issue whilst here do not expect a reply from anybody it took management 4 days to contact me from the point of me first raising the issues. Not only was the living area damp, the wood on the stairs was slit which meant that it was dangerous when walking up and down the stairs barefoot, this issue was also raised but ignored.. I have stayed in many lodges and I have never experienced such poor customer service. For the money that you have to pay to stay here there are much better options on the market. Please think twice before booking to stay here as if you have an issue you will be bounced from pillar to post without a resolution.
- Natasha (7/5): Cosy lodge but poor communication - The lodge was lovely and we loved the cosy feeling. The views were incredible when we could see them due to the weather and we really enjoyed the log burner and hot tub We wasn’t sure if the hot tub was working properly and I was quite disappointed in the lack of communication from the host once we got there. I rang, sent an email and a message and got no answer so that was pretty poor tbh which is a shame because the lodge itself is very nice but I don’t know if I would stay again.

- fiona leigh (10/5): - This is my 2nd time visiting? Last time I came was with my partner and my son this time I decided to bring a friend for a little girls night. It’s one of my favourite places. You can really turn off and and the views are amazing. The whole place is clean and comfortable a Home away from home but maybe a little better couldn’t recommend enough. Nothing really the weather wasn’t great this time but to be honest with the bubbles in the hot tub and the amazing scenery we didn’t really care definitely would say you can do this in the winter or summer. It’s a very special place.

- Kayley (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing one night stay here for my partners birthday! Gorgeous views and just so peaceful. The lodge itself was just so lovely and has everything you need and just feels so homely. Loved absolutely everything about this place but maybe the board games for guests to play could be updated
