- Sa (6/5): We were disappointed with the hygienic conditions of the place, since it was dirty when we arrived. - I liked that the place was very close to the university where we were working. I also enjoyed the fact that we had enough rooms for everyone to have their privacy. The beds, linen and towels seemed okay and comfortable. After our complaints and initial stress about the status of the place, the property manager was kind enough to reschedule a cleaning to the place, offered some complimentary treats (chips and wine), and allowed for a late check-out. The place was really dirty when we arrived - bottle cap on the kitchen floor, dusty and oily surfaces in the kitchen, poorly cleaned bathroom sinks and showers, cigarette butts on the balcony, dirty kitchenware and drawers... Also, it was very tricky to get warm water to function well in both showers, so we just ended up using one of the bathrooms, where it was easier to make it work consistently. Which is a shame, since there were four of us, and three toilets, of which two had showers, and only one that actually worked.

- Rachel (2/5): - Location was great as we were attending a sporting event in TUS. Easy accessible from the motorway. The property was not clean upon arrival - used tissues on a bedside locker, dirty mugs, empty water bottles and coins lying around. The water for the shower was cold, even after switching on the immersion for the indicated time of 15 minutes. The power of the shower was ridiculous - little drips. Definitely not worth what we paid.
- Cathal (5/5): Got off to a poor start due to the appartment being cold. Appreciate maintenance person dropped around a fan heater. On - Good location. Spacious rooms Cold when we arrived. Kitchen not clean (floor sticky, fridge not clean)

- Sara (10/5): - Beds were very comfortable alot of space clean lots of parking and loads of room for us all didn't use the communal areas only the kitchen, but all in all had everything we needed. No toilet paper so we did get our own but it was fine. Shower pressure wasn't great but again we were only there for a short stay so wasn't an issue for us
- Michelle (7/5): -
- Josh (3/5): - Plenty of room Top shower was scolding hot, would have caused injuries.
Kitchen had poor utensils
- Kelly (8/5): Good value for money for a group stay - It was perfect for a group of 7 for one night, great to have communal areas for everyone to spend time together and then all have a comfortable bed to sleep. The area was quiet which was good. One of the bathrooms had an issue with the toilet continuously blocking, other than this everything else was okay.
- Ilori (1/5): - I am writing to make a formal complaint about my recent stay at Glen Abhainn Apartments.
There was no information provided beforehand to let us know that there would be no one at reception, which caused confusion on arrival. When we arrived at the listed check-in time, the cleaner was still inside finishing up, which delayed us from settling in we had to wait an extra hour. This was especially difficult as we had small children with us.
During our stay, we also had several issues with the apartment itself. The hot water was not working, and despite calling multiple times and being told someone would be sent to fix it, the problem was never resolved. I paid for accommodation that included hot water, so this was extremely disappointing. In addition, there were periods when the toilets would not flush for hours, which was very inconvenient.
Finally, when we were leaving, the cleaner arrived early and stood outside the property, which felt uncomfortable and somewhat intimidating.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and I believe some form of compensation or acknowledgment would be appropriate given the circumstances.
I would appreciate a response to this complaint at your earliest convenience.
