The staff said my payment was wrong and owed £20 on arrival he rang n rang and rang me till gave him £20 but wouldn't reply or answer me to why no heating or hot water. This place is a must avoid
- David (8/5): Ideal for work related stays in the area - I needed a room for two nights whilst doing a course in the area. This was basic and cheap, quiet enough. Good wifi, a local takeaway and Gregg’s etc within a two minute walk. The house has full cooking provisions, and space to relax. As others have mentioned, it is dated, but that’s fair enough for the price paid. I had the downstairs room, to be honest some curtains would have been good for privacy where the blinds don’t quite cover the corners. I also wasn’t sure on the off-road parking situation, as another resident parked their workvan at the front of the driveway to the side, but it looks like there was more space behind it.

- indrani (8/5): - The room was big and good. It had a vintage vibe. The location was also good, though a little far from the centre, but well connected otherwise. Our host was very nice and helpful. The wardrobe needs to be a little larger. The other problem was the shared bathroom. As we had the room on the ground floor, we had to climb up to use the toilet. It was a bit inconvenient due to my knee pain.

- Galvatron (7/5): Good - Very good. Bed was comfortable and the host was really nice. I didn't get an email with lockbox code was only thing but host let me in and got keys no problem. Would of been nice to of had a kettle in the room.
- Rob (8/5): Quiet comfortable good value - Short 10 minute walk from town bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and quiet no bathroom in the room but was literally right next door and very clean if you just need a quiet place to sleep for the price you can not go wrong plenty of mini shops and take away places to eat if you want something easy Slightly dated decorating but honestly for the price the bed more than made up for it and only minor niggles nothing worth worrying about

- Latham (8/5): Cheap, Clean, not that cheerful, but exactly what it said on the tin - The house was not very modern, but it did exactly what it said. collection of the key was easy, the room was outdated, but very clean and had the facilities that I required Just could do with tarting up, but I guess that would increase the price, so I would rather take the old fashioned room
