• Alicia (10/5): Familiar and friendly! - Room was clean and hot water was consistent and warm. When I experienced some sickness, the staff offered to have food sent by to my room. Love the location, in the middle of Thamel yet quiet. One of the owners, Bhim has a rescued stray, Kali :) All was good.

• Tazammul Hossain (2/5): Unacceptable Booking Experience on Arrival - We arrived at the property late at night after coming from the airport, only to be told that our booking had been rented out to someone else. However, Booking.com was still showing that I had a confirmed reservation. As a solution, the owner offered us a store room to stay in. The room contained bed sheets, pillows, bags, shoes, and other stored items. He said it was free and suggested that we should take it. However, I was travelling with my wife, and being offered a store room as accommodation was deeply inappropriate and insulting. The owner claimed that he had informed me via WhatsApp, but the booking was made using my Nepali phone number, which does not have WhatsApp. It was a horrible experience, especially at night. We had to walk for more than 30 minutes with our luggage searching for another hotel. Eventually, we found one, but at a very high price due to New Year’s Eve.

• Hisham (8/5): Very good - Great value for money. Basic and no elevator but the studio room was spacious and clean with a kitchen and fridge. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

• Alicia (10/5): Will stay here again next year! - Rooms were clean and great hot water for winter. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was the best, located in a quiet corner in the middle of Thamel. Nothing I didn't like.

• Anatolii (9/5): Superb - The host Dawa is a great person, the atmosphere was good. Everything was OK. In one of the rooms (we rented 3) there was a smell from the sewer, in another there was water flowing from the tap under the sink, otherwise everything was fine.
• חן (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean, nothing was missing, the staff is very nice. There is a fan and lots of windows. The neighborhood is very quiet considering that it's in the middle of Thamel. No net in the windows.
• Sophie (10/5): clean and safe place for small budget travellers - Indra and his collegue are very welcoming and helpful. I was travelling alone and felt super safe. The location in the center of Thamel is very convenient, and also calm, as the hotel is in a small dead-end street. I travel on a small budget and could get a room with a private bathroom (super clean). The furnitures are a bit old dated but the bed linen is clean. It is a small budget place, don't expect more than a clean and safe place to sleep, but be sure you will rapidly feel like home.

• Shaked (9/5): Superb - The hotel was in an a really good location, close to many restaurants and shops and the hotel manager was very nice and helped us with everything we needed. Would stay again!
• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They were great with my young kids and happy to help with anything we needed. There was always hot water for the shower which was fantastic. They were happy for me to use the washing machine and kitchen as I needed due to my length of stay and small children. I was able to fill up our water bottles from the filtered water downstairs each day too. There is a small window above every rooms door, so the light from the stairwell shines in. Even when I turned the lights on our landing off, the room would always have some light coming in through that window.
