• Kateryna (8/5): Супер месторасположение для пары дней отдыха. - Все было супер, отличное место расположения. Очень чисто и уютно. Хороший хозяин, встретил нас и помог донести вещи наверх. Плохой напор в душе и нету зеркала в полный рост, этого очень не хватало. С утра уже очень шумно из-за парома, плохая шумоизоляция.
• Anna (8/5): Great apartment and location. - The person who we met with for the check in was very nice and friendly. Our plans for the day changed a few times and they were understanding and easy to communicate with. The apartment is right on the main street and right in front of the ferry ticket office/port - extremely convenient. The apartment had everything we needed and it made for a great stay in Bellagio.

• Dao (9/5): Great location and great value for money - The accomodation was very conveniently located right behind the Bellagio ferry station. It took around 2 minutes to walk there. The room was as depicted in the pictures. It was very spacious and had all the necessary ammenities. The host was super friendly and very accomodating. We were able to park the car at a different location for free and the host took us to the accomodation with his car. The room had small windows from which you can see the lake. It was a beautiful view. Since it was right in the middle of Bellagio, it did get quite loud in the evening and the walls were very thin. There are no elevators so be prepared to walk up the stairs.

• Steven (9/5): Great place for location and convenience. Welcoming was great and they were easy to get ahold of. - Location can't be beat. The ferry was just outside the unit You have to be careful if you're tall. If you're tall, you'll hit some of the beams. If you're looking for someplace to kick your feet up with a view, this isnt the place. You do have windows but they are a bit small.

• Bharath (7/5): Pleasant - Marco received us and he walked us through all the details of the apartment. The location is the biggest advantage as it is right opposite the ferry terminal. However you need to climb 5 flights of stairs to reach the apartment. Just something to keep in mind from an accessibility perspective. While the apartment was overall neat, the shower head looked old and beaten up. The pressure was also poor and there were some marks/stains on the closet too. At least the shower head needs an upgrade.

• Cynthia (10/5): Lovely stay in Como - Our stay at Il Pontile was perfect. Marco, the host, is very kind and friendly. Communication with him was very easy, and he met us as the bus stop. He gave us many tips (restaurants, how to get from one place to the other) on Bellagio, Varenna, etc. The flat is lovely, very comfortable, clean, with the most beautiful view. I highly recommend this place and am looking forward to coming back!

Infact, they were good exercise whenever we returned after all those delicious meals. just to be picky - the stairs with luggage but Andrea was such a Gem. He helped us!

The location is unbeatable—just a 1-minute walk to the ferry port with plenty of restaurants right below the building. Most amenities are within a 5-minute walk, and it’s only 10 minutes to Villa Melzi and several beautiful, Instagram-worthy spots. The studio was impeccably clean, with fresh-smelling bed sheets and an incredibly comfortable bed. We enjoyed hot showers and the convenience of an air conditioner/heater, which made the stay even more pleasant. The extra pillows were a nice touch, and we appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the hair dryer, iron, kettle, washing machine, and more. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, and the simple, modern design created a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Marco, the host, was fantastic—he was incredibly responsive and proactive, reaching out to us in advance to arrange check-in. The process was completely fuss-free, and he even helped us with our luggage upon arrival. There’s also a free parking option, which, although 15 minutes away, worked well since Marco kindly transported us to and from the parking lot, making everything seamless. The location is so convenient that we barely used the car. With ferries and buses available, it’s easy to get around Bellagio and explore other towns in the area. We had a fantastic stay at this apartment, but there are a few things to note. As mentioned in other reviews, the building doesn’t have a lift. We knew this in advance, so it wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but it’s worth considering if stairs are an issue for you. It would have been a perfect stay if there is a lift. Given its prime location near restaurants and the ferry port, there is a bit of noise from the surroundings. However, it was manageable for us. After 8pm the place is relatively quiet. If you’re a light sleeper, bringing earplugs would be a good idea. The shower is quite small. As someone with a small build (52kg 163cm), it was just fine for me, but it might be a bit tight for those with larger builds and taller than 180cm. A few small suggestions that could further improve the experience, though not deal breakers: • The shower head could be updated as the water pressure didn’t felt strong enough. • A full-length mirror outside the bathroom near plugs would be helpful, especially for those who want to get ready while their partner uses the bathroom. • It would be nice to have a small rack in the shower area for placing soap and shampoo.

• Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great. Host was friendly, met us at the ferry stop and helped us carry our luggage. The unit was spacious and clean. There's a wonderful view of the lake but you'd have to crouch or lie on the floor to see it. These are beyond the host's control and have been mentioned in other reviews but still might be worth mentioning. Need to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to the unit and the motion sensor light only turned on on the lower floors then turned off quickly so it could be a bit dark.
• Alex (8/5): Location is fantastic on the edge of the lake and central to the old town. Lovely apartment but make sure you can manag - Location was great. The apartment was light and airy. Facilities were good and it was clean. A lot of stairs to climb, in fact 75, which feels like two flights more than comfortable. Views were great but the windows are close to the floor so you need to lie on the floor to see them.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Enjoyed beautiful Bellagio - Location was excellent the property was modern clean and comfortable Bellagio sits on mountainside of lake Como, other than along the lake shoreline the town is engulfed by steps to everything, restaurants, shops etc. The apartment is on 4th floor accessed by narrow 85 steps. We are in our 70’s making it very challenging especially for luggage Perhaps reference warning to stairs should be made in promotion of the property

The location is so close to everything with bars, restaurants and the ferries right next door. The decor in the apartment is fresh, light and clean and the washing machine is a real bonus after 5 weeks of travelling. Prepare yourself for 4 flights of stairs. If you are not fit at the start of your stay, you will be at the end.Geoff and Carol

I don’t remember that being pointed out in the description. Thank goodness it wasn’t my mother that stayed there, she has a bad heart and it would have been a major issue.
• Cain (10/5): Perfect first visit to Italy - The property is perfect for a young couple visiting Bellagio, the location is perfect, it felt safe, the Wi-Fi worked well, good facilities; such as, the washing machine, hair dryer, iron etc. The flat was really clean, bright & modern. Marco came down as soon as we arrived with the key, helped us with luggage and shown us around, he was super helpful. Thanks again! N/A
• Simeon (10/5): Great hosts, perfect location! - Both Marco and Andrea were great, warm and kind! ☺️ Location of the apartment is more than perfect - 20 seconds away from one ferry stop and 4 minutes away from another. The location of the property is PERFECT! I don’t know if it is possible to be more in-the-middle of the town of Bellagio. Being in the middle of everything comes with a little tradeoff - it could be a little bit noisy at times, but it’s nothing unbearable. You’re in the middle of the town after all. What do you expect? I am a bit amazed by the rest of the reviewers that were so shocked that there are some stairs. The apartment is located on the top floor so - imagine that, there are stairs! You have to get there somehow, right? 😱 You can clearly see that the apartment is right under the roof from the photos too, so i’d say it is common sense that it wouldn’t be on the ground floor, right!? I also saw that there were people commenting that there are no blinds on the roof windows - there are blinds! Both FULL BLACKOUT blinds and ones that let some sunlight in. There was another comment about the AC unit being incapable of cooling down the place - believe me, the AC unit was more than capable of cooling down the apartment at 30-40% power. (we visited Bellagio in mid August, it was pretty hot!) The shower drain was a little slow.

• Janet (6/5): modern decor , excellent position but the stairs were awful. comfortable bed , good kitchen facilities - The stairs! There were 75 stairs to the top floor apartment. As I’m about to turn 70 I found the ascent extremely difficult . I am quite fit but I didn’t like these stairs at all. I must have missed this fact when reading the reviews before making the booking . carrying my suitcase downstairs when I left was quite dangerous for me as it weighed 14 kilos. I didn’t like the drain in the shower either. It was obviously blocked and when showering I was standing in a pool of water.

• Pradeep (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will certainly stay here again. - Local was great. Right next to the lake and ferry terminal. Spacious and extremely comfortable. Very clean. Despite our flight being delayed by 2 hours, host waited for us near the accommodation. Responded promptly to our emails and messages. It would be helpful if host can provide with some tea/coffee and a small carton of milk on arrival. We arrived late in the evening and it was difficult to find a shop at that time.
• Garry (5/5): Apartment is only suitable for a narrow geographic of traveller. - Friend,y and efficient meet and greet. Great location in centre of old town. What needs to be clearly communicated is the necessity of negotiating four long flights of narrow stairs to a loft apartment with low ceilings and windows at floor level. Car is remote from apartment with effectively no access during stay. Unless you are ultra-fit and travelling with no more than a backpack, chose somewhere else.

Property is situated in the perfect location right in front of Il Pontile 2 in Bellagio. It meant to long walks at night after having a few drinks at the bars. Room was very well kept and nice and bright, good shower facility and bed very comfortable. the host was super helpful and provided some restaurant recommendations which were fantastic. 100% would recommend this to anyone as it’s the perfect location to stay on Lake Como, as it’s very reasonably priced given the location in comparison to other options! Not a criticism but be wary that to the room it is 5 flights of stairs as often is the case in these Italian buildings with no elevator! it was no problem for us at 25 years old but perhaps something to bear in mind. everything else was perfect!
