• Laura (2/5): No volvería - La ubicación, vivienda entre locales pero a 2 min en moto de la calle principal. La habitación no cumple ni con los mínimos estándares de habitabilidad. El termo del baño no funcionó hasta el cuarto día de los seis que estuvimos. Además, los cables de conexión están expuestos y en contacto con zonas húmedas, lo que representa un peligro. La habitación es un anexo improvisado de una casa ubicada entre otros locales. Desde las 2 de la madrugada nos despertaban los gallos, así que dormir bien fue imposible. Tuvimos que lidiar con cucarachas gigantes y una invasión de hormigas. La puerta tiene una cerradura defectuosa que tarda varios minutos en abrirse o cerrarse. No tiene maneta, así que abrirla desde dentro es toda una odisea. La iluminación es muy deficiente. El wifi no funciona en absoluto. La limpieza es bastante deficiente; la higiene general deja mucho que desear.
• Sean (3/5): Poor - The place have all the utensils for cooking . It was useful if you want to make food by yourself. Near the main area The bed was uncomfortable. The floor had lots of dead spiders so we had to give it a brush . Wifi wasn’t work all the time 😑. Dogs barked midnight til morning. We couldn’t sleep. The room smelled damp .

• Sadzak (8/5): Will be back to stay there again, puhon ! - Clean and quiet, very nice bathroom. Nothing, great value for the money.
• Sales (8/5): Nice place to stay! - The location was accessible. Near cafe's restaurant and the beach. The Island had no power during our stay and the house had no generator however Stella was very accommodating and made sure we are comfortable during our stay. All in all, we had a great vacation in Siargao. It could have been better if the house had generator.

• Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Host very helpful with motorbike and transport for cost price. House exactly as pictured. No issues apart from rain. Everything was there. Cooking, ac cold enough. . The fridge was good enough condition and worked well. I'll give it a 10 because the value for money was great also. Had a rice cooker and little electric frypan. Gas outside (great for power interruptions) I would not say i didnt like this but transparency for others there is some roosters next door but that's standard for philippines. They don't bother me.

• Itziar (1/5): Desidia - The owner and the cleaning person have been available and attentive to help us The accommodation did not offer adequate amenities, maintenance and cleanliness. The area around the house was dirty.

• Simina (10/5): Exceptional - I had a great stay at Hermit House Siargao. The accommodation is tucked away from the buzz of General Luna, yet central. It is a whole house with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and terrace with beautiful garden (with the softest grass). The location allows it to be very peaceful and quiet. The housekeeper came to check me in, everything went great, if I needed something, I just had to message her and she would instantly help. There is a water bottle provided where you can fill up, a mini fridge which was super convenient and the kitchen offers everything you need. I also enjoyed very much interacting with the neighboured dogs, which are very friendly and playful. The shower head didn't have a lot of power/pressure, so showering took a bit longer.
• Davidovskii (3/5): Poor - The host was helpful with internet connection and other requests. Good internet connection, location is quiet and not far away from main street. This place is a bit destroyed.Was dirty when we checked in. The front and bathroom doors are hard to open, the water smells very bad. When you see the kitchen you really don't want to use it. Something lives under the roof and makes scratching sounds. You'll be accompanied by three or more dogs here. Although internet is good, it seems like it goes in packages, and it can suddenly shut down (typically once a day or two) and you should write a host to fix it. Also theres a step in the toilet

• Johannes (2/5): Price- performance, the worst I've ever had. - It’s really Philippino It's close to town but you walk through mud puddles. In bed I felt like everything was itching. the bathroom is a complete disaster.
• Steffen (1/5): Bad - nothing at all, its terrible. only cheap One room in middle of kind of nowhere. There are no sings for the place at all, we hardly could find it, no toilet paper, WiFi didnt work. And the agressive neighbour dogs made us to decide not to stay.

• Ikkidifenix (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great, the room was big, and the host very helpful. The bathroom was terrible, without a sink, without a mirror, the temperature of the shower was not adjustable and the water was flowing very slow, and the toilet was... terrible, no other words.
• Don (10/5): excellent! - I couldn't ask for a better host than Stella and her housekeeper! She spoiled me with excellent tips navigating the island and always going above and beyond.. I love my experience staying at Hermit house because it's so uniquely Siargao - getting all that island nature vibe yet just steps away from the heart of the buzzing General Luna town! Bonus for me: there were three little dogs to greet me and play with outside the lawn :)
• Fabienne (10/5): Exceptional - very nice house with a beautiful garden just a few minutes from all the restaurants and the beach. very friendly and helpful Family that helped us with everything. would absolutely stay there again. shower‘s almost no water pressure. one bar in the neighborhood can be loud in the evening
• Glenn (10/5): Amazing! - The host was very accomodating to our needs. She always gets out of her way to help us from van service, to when we left our keys inside… Truly a wonderful host.
• Julie-ann (10/5): Amazing little bach in General Luna - Stella and her housekeeper were extremely helpful. They organised laundry, airport transfers, and a scooter for us for our stay. We flew in early in the morning and we're even able to check in at 7:30am. She had her housekeeper come and meet us on the street so we knew where to go. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Siargao. The only thing we were unprepared for was the toilet that didn't flush. But we learnt quickly to use the tap and bucket.
• Margarida (10/5): Exceptional - Cute house with a lot of privacy, just next to town. The house has all the appliances you may need, from wifi to an equipped kitchen. The host was amazing, she helped me with many logistics. I highly recommend staying here!
