- Michelle (7/5): - Ruime slaapkamers en badkamers, fijne bedden en goed matras. Lief personeel.

- Bruce (9/5): - Great location. Easy walking distance to main street of Sanur. Small mini-mart located only 50m away for basic supplies. Spacious bedrooms - cold air-conditioning in both. Great pool.
- Andrej (10/5): Perfect stay for a family of four - Beautiful spacious outdoor space, open kitchen and lounge with natural air. Great sized bedrooms, good Airconditioning, very nice pool and decoration details. Most importantly great hosts Komang and Yogi. -
- Idelia Leonardi (9/5): Excellent service from Komang - Komang made our stay at Pura Villa very comfortable, we were able to connect with her at any time with questions. And my kids loved the breakfast she made (banana pancake!). The villa is spacious with walking distance to the centre of Sanur. The living area is outdoorish, so it was hard to have my 1 year old walking around the space because there was no door/gate to the pool.
- Matthew (3/5): Termite infestation spoiled our stay - Property is situated about 15 minute walk from beach, has reasonable space and local representative Komang was very friendly and helpful. Whilst on first impression the accommodation looks good, a number of issues became apparent, the worst of which was a significant termite infestation in one of the bedrooms. We noticed several bugs on one the beds the children was meant to be sleeping with, and they kept appearing despite us trying to clear them. We had to evacuate the room and 4 of us had to share one bed in the other bedroom for the first night.
The owners would not communicate with us and only with the local representative who was helpful and apologetic, and organised for the affected bedroom to be treated for the infestation. Unfortunately this also meant we were unable to use the property for the following day whilst the work was carried out, and the room had a very strong, unpleasant odour for the rest of our stay.
Whilst the local rep Komang was very apologetic and did arrange to get the issues resolved quickly, disappointingly the owners would not get in touch to look into compensating us for the first night and loss of the first day of the property whilst it was being treated.
The property is also in need of some TLC, with many lights not working, floors uneven and coming away causing some trip issues, and it’s in need of a deep clean (we came across old, used band aids for example). Reading some other negative reviews, one of the owner responses tends to be ‘have you reviewed the correct property?’ I can confirm my review is for Pura Villa Sanur.
Unfortunately given our experience we can’t recommend the property, which may well be a one off. However the lack of communication or any apology from the owners left a sour taste on our stay in Sanur.
- Joanne (10/5): Amazing, excellent, we will be back - Everything…. Beds were amazing, so comfortable…. Staff so friendly, Komang such a beautiful lady… we ordered in breakfast on our last morning which was beautiful… we definitely book there again 😁 thank you so much for your hospitality …… nothing
- kirsten (10/5): -
- Roseanne (10/5): - Amazing villa, our second time here. Komang is a wonderful host and cooked us delicious breakfasts. A short walk to the main street of sanur and the beach. The villa is beautiful, spacious and has everything you need and the pool is lovely. Thaks komang, Jenny and Mike, we look forward to staying here again in the future! Nothing!
- Jasmine (9/5): Superb - Heaps of space, even bigger than it looks in the photos. Big pool, although it wasn’t that warm (wasn’t much sun while we were there) my kids loved it. Location was about a 5-10 min walk from the Main Street which is fine but with kids a bit closer would be ideal
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Federico (8/5): We had a nice stay at the villa, good value for money, strategic location quiet but close to all the services, small thi - Great location, walking distance to the beach and close to lots of different restaurants and cafes.
Really spacious house, perfect for the family.
Worth to mention also big and clean bathrooms.
Air conditioning working properly, good internet connection.
Decent size pool, perfect for the kids! The house needs some updates and maintenance to be done, some lights were not working, some drawers of the kitchen are ruined due the humidity.
- Melissa (10/5): Loved our stay here and highly recommend it. - Home was very spacious, comfortable & clean.
Jenny & Komang were very hospitable & always available for any questions. Nothing to dislike.
- Lynda (10/5): Fabulous villa with great staff to help if needed. Highly recommend. - Spacious, quiet, clean. Comfy bed. Wifi great and water pressure. More walking to get anywhere but in saying that taxi app was great and cheap.
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renata (9/5): Superb - Swimming pool, quiet area, spacious open living room.
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (9/5): Superb -
- Judith (10/5): Great location for a private villa - Great location only a short walk to shops restaurants and beach. Very spacious 2 big bedrooms with en suite. Good size private pool. Lots of different areas to eat and sit. Very clean. Komang was a good manager helpful and friendly. Ideal for a family or 2 couples. Host jenny was great communicator. Loved it. Perfect 😃 Nothing all very good
- Sharon (10/5): Perfect Sanur getaway - Beautiful Villa. Very private for 2 couples, great kitchen facilities and big fridge, beds and linen were perfect and it was an easy walk Sanur Main Street and beach.
Komang and was an exceptional hostess, she and her beautiful daughter cooked a delicious dinner for us in the villa, organised transport and kept the villa spotless.
The villa held up well with the torrential rain. We stayed dry and could sit and relax under the veranda enjoying our evening drinks.
We did not want to leave 😊 Nothing
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Great place, well equipped, really good location.
- Chantele (9/5): Beautiful villa very comfortable beds - Comfortable beds, clean and well maintained
Pool was lovely
Very quiet place so could sleep well at night
The staff were very accomodating and helpful and kind. Nothing
- Mark (7/5): Disappointed - The size of the property was good for my family. Nice sized beds. Big kitchen (we didn't use it). Not worth the price tag. Needs updating. Hot water system needs to be replaced. Some days we had hot water, some days we'd be lucky to get a 2 minute hot shower. Nothing in rooms to protect you from mosquitos. We went out and bought plug in mosquito repellers. A lot of the place looked tired and in need of an update. We were without towels for a whole day... We had to ask for our sheets to be changed on day 6...would have expected them to be changed before then really. Gross smell coming from Butler's pantry on arrival. parts of the roof leak in certain areas, meaning a bucket was put there (not a great site every day).Main bedroom stank the first day due to a leaking tap. Some of the lights when turned on would maintain a constant zapping/crackling sound. Water fountain going into the pool was full of algae and other contamination (gross). Days of heavy rain and no salt or other chemicals were added to the pool, so very hesitant swimming in the poo (yes it looked clean, doesn't mean it was)l. No streaming service on TVs, considering the price tag I'd expect there to be...even at a $40 a night hotel you get it. Expected to roll and unroll the screens every time it rained (hot tip for the owner- put some motors on them). Three teabags and weren't refilled on an 8 night trip, no milk provided. One of the main entry doors was extremely hard to open had to force it as it is swollen and needs to be shaved down. All 4 of us would wake up with bites on our bodies every morning- so possibly bed bugs.Power points hanging off walls is a safety concern. Mould in areas. Main bedroom three pillows for 2 guests? To compare, we stayed in Sanur last year 3 bedroom villa, enclosed entertainment room, similar location and we didn't have any of these issues and the price tag was a lot cheaper. Don't get sucked in by the stock photos. Disappointed.
- Alderslade (7/5): Good -
- Keith (9/5): relaxing villa - pool and kitchen not enough tea and coffee. a spare water bottle would be good. we ran out one evening but replaced the next morning
- Marissa (10/5): Exceptional Villa, loved it - We love everything about this villa. This is the second time we have stayed there. The pool is a perfect temperature, bedrooms are magnificent. Kitchen is well equiped. The villa is a short walk to the Main Street. Jenny and Mike were easy to contact and quick to respond. Komang and her daughter were great. Always making sure there were no problems and that we didn’t need anything. Perfect Villa. Nothing
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): Enjoy everything about Pura Villa. - We have stayed here many times over the years and there is everything to like. From the time you meet Komang at the door to when she says goodbye it is a great experience. Quiet area but close to the busy part of Sanur. Beds are super comfy & the 2 bathrooms are spacious & well equipped with all your essentials. Pool is ideal & gets plenty of sun. A great Kitchen if you want to cook breakfast or have a night in. Everything is perfect
- Peter (9/5): Great family option for Sanur - Overall an amazing villa.
Pool was great. Bedrooms were excellent.
The host Kumang was amazing. Very helpful and easy to contact on Whatsapp. She even helped arranging transport to a good cheap doctor, when one of our kids were sick One glass door near the entrance + one bathroom door was broken.
Bonus information: If you plan to relax in a deckchair by the pool and work on your tan, be aware that sun is only available on the edge of the pool from 8 to 12.30. ;-)
- Mark (9/5): Quiet location close to the action. Families and couples travelling together will love the space. - It’s huge!! Lots of space, great communal area and located close enough to the Main Street but far enough to be quiet. Komang (who looks after the property) could not have been more helpful. Very responsive and took great pride in making sure everything was great. Mosquito netting over the beds would have been good.
- Belinda (9/5): Enjoyable few days. Comfortable rooms. - Comfortable beds, clean and secure. There were moth balls in all the kitchen cupboards and in the bedroom which had a really strong toxic smell.
- Harrison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roseanne (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful spacious villa, clean, comfortable and amazing pool. Komang was so helpful and cooked a delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here. Everything was perfect. Wish we had stayed longer!
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Such a nice place to stay and the lady that comes to meet you is the most wonderful helpful person. She really makes the experience wonderful. Thank you Kumung!
- Sandy (10/5): Exceptional. Outstanding. - Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful villa.
Very tastefully decorated and laid out, with quality construction, and so many areas to sit and relax. The photos are amazing but don’t do the place justice. It’s better than what you see online!
Location is perfect. So close to the beautiful beach, shops, cafes and warungs. Old Brick Warung is an absolute MUST!
Saltwater pool was immaculate and gets good sun, so it’s just the right temperature for a dip.
Komang (manageress) is the most beautiful and caring person. She hugged me very warmly and even cried when I told her of my auto-immune conditions before giving me a wonderful massage.
She takes immense pride in her job. Diligent, dedicated, hard-working and has complete focus on making sure guests are comfortable, and are looked after. Well exceeded our expectations in how she took care of the place and our needs, but totally respecting our privacy at the same time.
It was also nice to have blue towels instead of the usual white! Absolutely nothing.
- Elena (9/5): Superb -
- Jude8 (8/5): A well used and loved Villa. Komang, the manager, is lovely, and very attentive to your needs. - Huge Villa!
Komang (manager) was lovely and always kept in touch to ensure we were happy and if she could do anything for us. Nothing was a problem for her. She is very pleasant and always smiling and we felt confident that we could contact her at anytime if needed. Komang arranged for our laundry and getting transport for the airport. She also offers a lovely massage. The pool area is lovely and there is plenty of room. There is a kitchen, we used the gas stove once, we ate out the rest of the time, as why would you cook when there is so much good food to be had. Everything you need is here, even a TV with the usual streaming services, which is nice when you came back from a long day and had a swim in the lovely pool. Great place if you like to spend time away from the busy areas of a hotel. The place has been well loved, I think it is ready for an update, it is looking a little tired. In saying that, we didn't spend much time in the villa as we were out and about most of the time. It served its purpose for us and we did enjoy our time here.
- Vicki (8/5): Lovely villa in quiet location not far from shops, restaurants and the beach. - Villa was spacious, loved the bedrooms nice styling. Pool was great and the villa had everything we needed. Bit hot in the outdoor living area, however there was a fan.
- Patricia (9/5): Comfortable, good size, safe & quiet Villa. - We love the Villa. The size of the villa, the rooms & the pool is very good. My son & husband lived in the pool 😄.
Komang, the hostess is really helpful. She is so hands-on and ready to help at any time. The owner is easy to talked to. Location is not that bad. The litte cafe around the corner served a very lovely pancakes! We just walked there in the morning for breakfast. We feel safe in this villa and it's quiet too, so it's good for family.
Thank you Jenny & Komang, you made our stay in Bali very enjoyable 😊. We hope we can return again to your villa one day. We wished the outdoor little bit enclosed so they can add AC in the sitting area, as it was really hot when we were there.
- Pei♡ (10/5): Comfortable and homey - The villa was nice and spacious. Each bedroom had an ensuite. The host was very friendly, helpful and nice. Komang gives an amazing massage which moved the knots I've had in my back for years (haven't been able to find a decent one who goes by feeling the muscles and knots). Had a salt water pool. Loved the villa. Its a good place to come back to and relax. Everything was great. The fan was broken at the dining table but that was easily fixed and replaced when you notify the host. It was replaced during the time we were out for a few hours.
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb - The space in the villa was great. The swimming pool was great, but then there were multiple places to sit with a couch, dining table, coffee table. All very comfortable. Then the location was very close walking distance to sanur.
- Lauren (9/5): Villa is beautiful and clean. Great location. We will be back. - Komang was so lovely and helpful. This was our second stay in this villa and we will be back. The pool is lovely and always clean. The villa is set off of the main road which we really like and is otherwise quite central. We felt really secure and safe. The aircon in one of the bedrooms was not working at full capacity. It was like this during both our stays and we reported it the first time but the maintenance contractor said it was fine. Also the pool fountain is quite loud and this did not bother me but it did both my husband.
- Tara-lee (10/5): Our family absolutely loved the Villa & it’s just as beautiful as the pictures. - Absolutely loved the Villa, close to the shops & restaurants. Pool was amazing. Our Manageress Komang was the best as our son got Bali belly, and she helped get to him to a Dr late at night. She also cooked some lovely breakfasts for the family. We cannot wait to go back.
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (5/5): We booked Pura villa to have a change from hotels, but sadly didn’t live up to our expectation. - Was allowed to leave our luggage in the villa when we arrived early, good communication with owner. Sadly the property is very tired and could do with a deep clean in the kitchen and bathroom areas, on arrival there was not enough keys to the front door, the tv didn’t work, and the towels definitely need replacing, the tv was replaced the next day but was clearly not working before our arrival and shouldn’t have needed ourselves to report this.
- Steve (3/5): Poor - Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and Saltwater pool was nice to be able to swim day and night. Location on quiet back street of residential properties was good felt safe and easy 5-10min walk to Jalan Tamblingan close to Maya Hotel etc. We normally don't comment unless stay was outstanding or we have a poor experience, and overall this was not great. Property felt tired and not particularly clean or good value for $250 AUD per night. While spacious and relatively comfortable (good beds and bathrooms) and the location is nice and quiet there were several issues including:
1. Kitchen was not very clean and if you expect any tea or coffee good luck bring your own as we had 2-3leftover teabags to use. For price paid I'd expect better supplies in a villa like this.
2. Second bedroom a/c just ok if set on 18 and high to keep room cool. Bedroom 1 was fine a/c.
3. Roof in kitchen and pantry both leaked heavily after rain overnight leaving wet and slippery for falls. Ibu Komang surprised when we mentioned this as had to towel dry floors to not slip on the timber flooring (cracked and water damaged in parts). Komang's response "First time..!" Hmmm...mould on ceiling and water dripping from the pantry light fitting suggests not...
4. Pool light was wobbly when touched while swimming. Sketchy, we turned it off.
5. Komang was late for handover of keys at departure organised for 8:30am but waited for her to come late then the transport she organised was too long to get there and we ended up being late to airport called a taxi instead of a 30min wait for her friend to come to pick up. Get your own taxi is my tip as we left 45mins later than arranged and were late to the airport. Not happy!
6. When we booked through Booking.com it included breakfast but not according to Komang on arrival. Did not complain as happy to get our own at cafe down the road.
Overall our stay was just ok for the money, pool and location are best things but felt tired and overpriced for our stay there are better options available for same $ would not return.
- Tracey-skye (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - Accomodation was great- had everything needed,tv's had a number of shows and usb updated movies in one of the rooms which was excellent! Air con worked well. Komang was amazing- always available via whatsup app and happy to help in anyway. Shop just 1 min walk from the villa. Will be booking for my next holiday. Nothing
- Donna (10/5): Excellent villa, great location 10/10 - This little gem of a property is located about 10 minutes walk from the beach / Main Street where all the restaurants shops are. The villa is perfect, the beds are very comfortable, the outside pool area / sitting area is so nice.
Huge fridge freezer to keep your beers cold, good wifi, there’s a little shop less than 30 seconds from the villa for essential beer. I wanted to stay longer. You will not be disappointed This villa is perfect.
- Kevin (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing before our next adventure to nusa Lembongan. - Komang was very welcoming and made us feel at home. This villla is very beautiful and relaxed. Nothing to fault here. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a private Villa to chill out in Nothing. Everything is here to make you feel at home and enjoy
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - The villa is in a great location and an easy walk to the beach and restaurants in Sanur. The villa is lovely and well equipped. Komang looked after us and kept the villa clean, and was very helpful and attentive. Nothing to not like
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Lauren (10/5): Villa is so beautiful! We will be back for sure! - Villa was beautiful, location was walking distance to everything but still set away from the hustle and bustle. Kids lived in the pool! Staff was super sweet and helpful.
- Marissa (10/5): Best Villa I have ever stayed in - The owners and Komang were so accommodating. The Villa is magnificent and immaculate. Everything we needed was there for the odd times we cooked. Komang came to the Villa and gave us great massages. Everything was Perfect! Nothing at all
- Jenny (9/5): Superb -
- Leta (10/5): Huge, beautiful private villa . Tucked away from busy road . Beautiful breakfast each morning cooked by Komang and her d - We loved everything about Pura villas Nothing
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Iam (9/5): A lovely, quiet, private villa within walking distance to all facilties if you are young and fit. - The villa was excellent.
Komang and her daughtere were wonderful hosts. They were there whenever required but invisible when we just wanted our own space. 10 out of 10 for these 2 ladies.
The wifi was excellent.
The pool was a blessing at the end of a hot day.
Housekeepng was excellent.
If you like good music the Wicked Parrot is a must for dinner. Music every night. A little more expensive than others but well worth it. It was one of the highlights of our visit. The villa was about a 10 minute walk to the main street. OK during daylight hours but treacherous in the dark. Way too risky for a couple of oldies like ourselves.
We were extremely disappointed when, on the last night, we were asked to pay $20 for a broken key. After paying $A2,000 for 8 nights we thought that this was unnecessary. It was suggested that I must have used too much force on the lock. At 73 I'd love to have the strength to break a key in the lock. It was subsequently agreed that we would not pay for the damage. But it was an extremely disappointing end to a lovely stay.
- Sarah (10/5): incredible! we will be back - everything! it was so spacious for our family and so private. our host Kamong made sure everything was perfect and no favour was too big
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful space. Very quiet. Everything we needed. -
- David (9/5): Perfect place to relax ( especially as we were sick!) No outside noise at all 😊 - Very quiet and relaxing. The manager Kumang was exceptional! My husband was very sick with Bali belly, she brought the dr to the house, stayed calm and took care of him while I prepared to take him to hospital. We are so grateful for her kindness 🥰 All was good. It would have been lovely to have washing machine but laundry a very short walk away.
- Balazs (10/5): Awesome Villa in Sanur - We have spent 10 days at the villa with our sons aged 5 months and 2 years. We had a great time there and had everything we could have wished for. A lot of space, cozy beds and the pool just for us! Despite not being immediately at the beach, the location is still very good, lots of restaurants and shops are just a stone‘s throw away.
Special thanks to Komang, the villa‘s manager and wonderwoman who really made our stay perfect. She was always there for us, making breakfast, cleaning, ad-hoc babysitting and so on, she really made the villa to feel like our home.
- Wendy (10/5): Beautiful villa with a great host = very relaxed stay - Loved the villa, the pool and Komaine who cooked us breakfast and gave us massages
Perfect location and very relaxed stay Nothing we didn’t like
- Leureen (10/5): This was a great place to stay as my mother had been unwell, perfect to relax in - what a beautiful villa, everything you need. really comfortable beds.
we meet with Komang and she was lovely & so helpful, will recommend to my
family & friends
- Chrissyt (7/5): needed a good clean. - it was beautiful. lovely pool area it was dirty
- Cat.65 (10/5): Amazing 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms villa with private pool - Everything in the villa was absolutely perfect, pool was great, Komang & her daughter cooked an amazing breakfast for us a few days, beds were super comfy. The bedrooms were at either end of villa & were huge, nice pressure in the showers, with hot water. Komang(housekeeper) was great, anything we needed, just message her. We will definitely stay again. Just a bit far to walk from the main area
- Joanna (9/5): Superb -
- Sh_k (10/5): A comfortable villa - The villa was wide, clean and quiet. Komang and her daughter were very kind and we enjoyed relaxing. It was convenient because there was a small supermarket near the villa. The massage of the villa was also good. I want to come to this villa on my next vacation. no
- Wilton (5/5): The location was on back street and due to the rain the longways flooded and dirty 10 mins to sanur - Privacy of pool We where looking forward to staying at this villa as the photos on booking. Com showed a lux well present space, on arrival we where very underwhelmed and a little disappointed as the furniture and decor was marked damaged and dated in need of updating , paint peeling rand grotty roof leaking and pool Lounge was chipped and dirty
The snorkelling with Bali boat tourst was our highlight and we'll worth the money
- Lily (10/5): Pleasant Stay - The villa is in a quiet location but still near to the beach and provision shop. The friendly manageress Komang and her daughter are excellent cooks who made us a sumptuous breakfast everyday. They also prepared a delicious meal for us on our last night in Bali. Overall, Komang made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. Will highly recommend to stay here if you’re in Bali. Thank you! Nothing
- Marloes (7/5): Good - Spacious and clean house with big outdoor living area and kitchen, but it feels like an indoor space. Walking to the main road for restaurants, shops and the beach was a bit of a hassle with traffic and puddles on the roads, in the evening safer to take a cab.
- Tanya (10/5): Quiet location and close to everything! - We loved our stay at Pura Villa. Conveniently tucked away in the backstreets of Sanur, it is close to beaches, eateries (definitely go to Old Brick Warung) and shopping. Our tip - get the fabulous host Komang to organise bike hire for you. It allowed us to get everywhere quickly and Sanur has really been designed to enjoy riding (particularly along the beach front). Swimming in the private pool every day was a real treat. Komang and her husband were absolutely delightful - friendly and very organised and we loved the chance to have a chat with them. Thanks Jenny for a great stay. Nothing
- Kacey (9/5): Probably one of the first places we’ve stayed in bali where the pictures are actually True! what you see is what you get - the place is beautiful and relaxing so many light switches, a bit scary walking the surrounding streets of a night time
- Renae (8/5): Very good -
