• Eden Gerlie B (10/5): - We absolutely loved this hotel! The location is unbeatable—close to everything—and the room itself was immaculate and incredibly comfortable. The little touches, like the plush robe and slippers, were wonderful, and the modern appliances were a real plus. We did have a slight challenge figuring out the combined washer and dryer, but that was the only tiny hiccup. Seriously, this is the best hotel experience we've had in Japan to date. Five stars and highly recommended!

The booklet that was provided in the room with all the information for the property rules and how to use the appliances was super helpful. The in-unit washer/dryer was convenient. I would stay here again.

Lots of space with separate bathroom and toilet, a special call out was for the washing machine and dryer in the apartment - make washing/drying so much easier. The only item for improvement would be to put more hooks on the wall - to hang towels or toiletry bags. The apartment is a quiet area but only a 10 min walk to Dontoburi and a 7 min walk to the station.

• Jhan Carlos (10/5): - I absolutely adore this place! It’s conveniently located near the main tourist spots. Even though there’s no one to “check us in,” it was super simple and easy. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m back in Osaka. The room was spotless when I arrived, and since I’m pretty organized, I don’t need my room cleaned every day. This one didn’t have that extra touch. Also, if you need a washer and dryer for your trip at the end, this is the perfect spot for you. One thing I’d really love them to add is an AC in the elevator. But aside from that, it’s absolutely perfect!
• Shawna (10/5): - While a bit small, the place is very clean and comfortable. The AC and the washer/drier worked perfectly. It’s walking distance to Dotonbori (10 min) and a metro station (8 min). There is also a grocery store nearby. The kitchen does not have a lot of supplies - we only had two plates, two bowls and two cups so had to wash after watch meal. Also cooking supplies are limited. We only used the kitchen for breakfast.

Bed was comfortable, and didn’t have the strange typical Japanese pillows that are filled with buckwheat. For us this was a bonus , along with the washer/dryer

With 5 days stay they included a free cleaning that you can schedule. Also, fresh towels were on request. This was fine for us. Location was good for walking to Dotonbori area. Transit was close enough with luggage.

There wasn't any cooking materials if you wanted to make some food, however there was a family mart nearby and a microwave. • Abish (4/5): - Misleading Listing Not a Hotel, Minimal Support for Foreign Travelers I don’t take leaving negative reviews lightly, but it’s important for companies not to mislead foreign travelers especially when there’s a language barrier and navigating procedures is already challenging. I hope this review helps others planning their trip. First, Japan is one of the most extraordinary places to visit truly magnificent. But this listing is not a hotel, as advertised on Expedia. It is an apartment complex with no reception, no front desk, and no staff available to assist you on-site. We had two rooms booked, and they were not located near each other. We had our luggage sent from our previous hotel in Tokyo (a standard and trusted service in Japan), but this property couldn’t properly receive it. Since there was no staff, the luggage was left outside our rooms. Thankfully, this is Japan but elsewhere, that could have been a major security issue. Also worth noting: You have to pay a Daily fee if you want to have your room clean. Expedia doesn’t want me to disclose how much. It is a tremendous fee if you lose your physical key. They claim to provide fresh towels daily, but we never received any. If you arrive early, don’t expect early check-in or help with your luggage. I asked if they had lockers, and was told no but later discovered a locker garage just around the corner that would have made a big difference.

More room for the Don Quixote stuff. It takes about 4 hours though so do it at night.

It is a 10 minute walk to the closest subway station, which might be a bit of a trek for families with Young children. The Studio apartments are very well appointed and clean. Unfortunately, we never got to use the iron since it was always missing from the drawer in the lobby although we were in the property for three days. It might be convenient if an iron was provided in the unit itself since they give you a washer dryer anyway, otherwise it was a very comfortable stay.

Less than10 min walk to the train station, to shopping and dining places. Five minute walk to the convenience stores(7 Eleven and Family Mart). The area feels safe even at night. You need to get close to the front door(dark gray) for it to open and get to the area where you can enter the code to get inside towards the elevator. This apartment hotel has no front desk but it is easy to get in touch with management.

However, I would have appreciated written instructions in English for using the appliances in the room such as the air conditioner, washing machine, etc.. Also, the entrance door to the hotel was hard to spot at night—it could really benefit from a clearer or better-lit sign to help guests find it more easily.

• Ara (6/5): - It's good to have a kitchen when travelling with kids and this place had a decent amount of space and the washing machine was handy as well. However it is not 2 mins from Dountonbori as stated on Expedia. It's more like 10 to 12 mins which is a major difference when walking with kids. The area is a little off to the corner and dodgy feeling. We (dark haired family) found multiple blonde hairs in our bed which was a bit yuck and I raised it with the hotel but they ignored it. Looked clean to the eye other than for that.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good apartment, neighbourhood a little run down - Comfortable stay, the washer and dryer was nice to have. Lots of convenience stores near by. 10 min walk to Donbori Road. But surrounding neighbourhood is pretty run down and has quite a bit of litter. Emails that were sent to me with instructions about accessing the apartment were in Japanese, which was not that helpful. So make sure you open the emails from them using a browser that can easily translate.
• Inspire (10/5): - This was a great apartment and big by Japan standards. It was nice to have the kitchen and laundry options. Everything was self check-in and super easy. The area seemed a bit 'grungy' at first but it was safe and we soon discovered it was very close to walk the famous Dontonbori area. It's about a 10 min walk from the subway station which is fine, if you don't have to much luggage. The apartment itself was clean and spacious and had a nice balcony, Pretty quiet as it didn't face onto the main road. I would defintely stay here again if I were in Osaka.

• Rebecca (10/5): Great stay and great location, but... - Great stay and have no real complaints. Please know the hotel is unmanned and we didn't know this going on. This isn't an issue but if you are having luggage shipped here from another city it may cause an issue with delivery. This happened to us and we were unable to obtain are luggage for 2 days. Scheduled to delivery on Saturday and Yamato wasn't open until Monday. Other than this which wasn't the hotels fault by any means we wpuld definitely stay there again.

The hotel staff is great on responding your request, but you need to wait some time for them to response. Overall, it is a great choice and I will pick this property again when I visit Osaka next time.
• Emily (10/5): - The location was really close to Dontonburi and the train station. The room was spacious enough to fit 2 large suitcases open and has its own washer/dryer. The room is self serve check/in. I will say for some reason the AC and toilet blew an odor that smelled like faint pee smell but it wasn't too big of an issue. I would gladly stay here again due to it being so close to everything and being so spacious.

There was more than enough room for 3 adults with 2 suitcases, bags, etc. The bathroom and toilet were modern and clean and the washing machine came in handy. The only downside, and this I felt was common throughout Osaka, was that the neighbourhood didn't feel as clean and friendly as other parts of Japan. There wasn't an occasion when we didn't feel unsafe in the area, day or night, but it didn't feel very 'homely.' Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to any traveller/travellers who like to have a kitchen and room to move around

It seems there might have been a mixup with the reservation as we never received the communication about access codes or anything. And when we arrived we didn’t known it was a self-serve check in. Thankfully they posted the phone number at the entry and it worked out, but was a bit stressful late at night. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
