• Olivia (1/5): If you have no where else to go. Then stay here. - You can’t beat the price. If you’re in dire need of a place to stay then you have to deal with the rest. People coming in at all hours of the night. Super loud. The porch had random floor mats hanging from rail. There’s only 1 bathroom 1 shower. Our room slept 5 people. There were 3-4 other rooms. Who know how many they sleep. They need more bathrooms. Carpet gives you yucky feelings.

Room was enough spave for a double bed and a set of drawers. TV in the room. The kitchen utensils were scarce so couldnt find a bread knife or many other cooking utensils.

• Ines (3/5): - Location wise it's close to a lot of stations and lines, which makes reaching the city center very accessible. Easy self check in. The entire place was dirty, from dead bugs in tee room and hairs on the bed, to the bathrooms full of stuff on the ground (which wasn't cleaned at all during my stay) and the kitchen which had a lot of mold, the water came out with particles on the sink, the kettle was rusted. We didn't feel safe using the kitchen at all. It doesn't say so on the page, but we had to climb two full sets of stairs (one to reach the flat, the other inside to the room), which can be a deal breaker (we were carrying 3 large and heavy suitcases, it was taxing taking everything up). The photos of the property are very out of date.

• Lauren (4/5): Quite conveniently located in Zone 2 of the underground, lots of time and attention is needed to be paid to the cleanlin - After all the years I’ve been using Booking.com, I still haven’t learnt to not trust the pictures advertised. The pictures were obviously taken when the walls were cleaned and the rugs were down, because it was very different in appearance to what we were expecting. If you think you’re getting the picturesque faux brick with pretty carpets and nice bed sheets, please look at the images I have attached. I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for, but if I didn’t have such a good deal through my genius rewards, I wouldn’t have booked this room, and I don’t think I’d book it again. The good: - Excellent location, 10 minute walk to Stepney Green (District/Hammersmith/City line) and Whitechapel (Elizabeth line) which are in Zone 2 of the London Underground. - Use of a kitchen is always a bonus - Artwork in the room was a nice touch. … not much else unfortunately. The truth: - None of the surfaces had seen a cleaning cloth in weeks in the room, toilet, bathroom or kitchen. - The shower might as well have been the Da Vinci Code. I suspect the shower knobs have fallen off at some point and have been put on backwards. Pointing to cold, it’s hot, pointing to hot it’s cold. The shower curtain is ready for a wash, or better yet, the bin. - The heater worked when it wanted to, we were visiting during an English cold snap so this was essential. - The TV remote didn’t work. - A kitchen yes, brilliant, but not much cutlery, a dirty fridge, countertop and floor. - Splatters of what looked like coffee and food all over the walls of the room. - The keys for guests checking out were collected in a pot in the kitchen next to an open window, where anybody passing by could reach in, grab one and let themselves in. Luckily it felt like a decent area with a primary school next door, but we did question the safety of this? If you’re not going to be spending much time in the room like us, it will suffice for your stay, but even for these prices, the owner really needs to dedicate more time and attention to the cleanliness of this property.
• Daugnoraite (3/5): Absolut nicht empfehlenswert – eine große Enttäuschung - Gute Erreichbarkeit des Vermieters, verhältnismäßig saubere Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Das winzige Badezimmer sowie die Toilette befanden sich auf einer anderen Etage und mussten mit drei weiteren Einheiten geteilt werden. Beide waren in einem äußerst schlechten und unhygienischen Zustand. Duschen war nur mithilfe eines Eimers möglich. Zudem gab es trotz winterlicher Temperaturen keine Heizung. Erst auf Nachfrage erhielten wir einen kleinen Heizlüfter, den wir wegen der starken Lautstärke nach kurzer Zeit wieder ausschalten mussten. Wir waren erleichtert, dass wir spät ankamen und nur eine Nacht bleiben mussten – dennoch hat diese Unterkunft unseren Aufenthalt in London erheblich beeinträchtigt. Wir haben es sehr bereut, kein Hotel in der Nähe zu einem besseren Preis gebucht zu haben. Die Fotos auf der Webseite waren stark geschönt und entsprachen in keiner Weise der Realität. Die Einheit befand sich in einer heruntergekommenen, ungepflegten Anlage. Angesichts des Zustands war der verlangte Preis völlig inakzeptabel. Wir fühlten uns getäuscht und würden diese Unterkunft keinesfalls weiterempfehlen.

La personne qui nous a accueilli est très gentille La propreté des espaces communs (salle de bain et WC) est complétement négligée (on a trouvé une serviette hygiénique utilisée dans la salle de bain et des traces de sang dans le WC sur un mur)

No apto para personas delicadas o amantes del desinfectante. Muy importante en la cocina solo funciona el microondas, la vitrocerámica NO.. He intentado comunicarme con el número indicado, que normalmente contestaba , pero nada... La única cosa positiva,que las sábanas son limpias, las lavan en lavandería. Las fotos no reflejan el estado real del piso. La limpieza y el mantenimiento son muy diferentes a lo que se muestra

No cooking ! - Location alright, 6 min walk or so to the underground and plenty of shops/ food places around , had wifi Very dirty, wallpaper falling off walls, kettle black inside, dust everywhere, personal belongings left all over the room, missing advertised, shows a full kitchen on pics only to arrive and get told no cooking only allowed to use the kettle , ballenster coming off the wall, TV propped with polystyrene and doesn't even turn on, curtin for balcony is on the outside, balcony very dirty and full of random stuff . Could add so meny more bad photos of the place however only allows so meny. Wouldn't touch the bath with a bardge pole!

• Sabrina (1/5): - Gar nichts Booking MUSS diese Unterkunft löschen. Das ist unzumutbar. Das war das schlimmste war ich je erlebt habt. Wie kann man das anbieten? Wir sind in das Zimmer und haben sofort entschieden eine andere Unterkunft zu buchen. Auch wenn es schon 21:30 Uhr war. Die Kinder haben geweint und wollten auf keinen Fall bleiben. Schimmel war überall, dreckig in jeder Ecke. Löcher an der Decke. Balkon eine Abstellkammer. Küche war ein Büro was er selber scheinbar nutzt. Wir hatten 1x Bettwäsche für 4 Personen. Und das soll ein Deluxe Zimmer sein? Bitte nehmen Sie das raus!!!!

The room door has a hole in it which someone could see through if they wanted and you could hear everything outside the room so it was very noisy. Hearing people walk outside felt like they were in the room

• Nadia (1/5): Worst stay ever - Nothing The property was disgustingly filthy. Furnitures in the room were filthy and broken. There were hairs everywhere. Also photos here are misleading. In real life it was completely different.
• Catarina (2/5): Moyen - La chambre était propre et l’emplacement plutôt bien situé. Check-in un peu mal organisé, j’ai dû attendre un moment avant de pouvoir accéder à la chambre. Beaucoup de bruit dès le matin, avec des enfants qui courent, crient et chantent très tôt dans toute la maison. La salle de bain n’était pas propre et les toilettes étaient anciennes. Le propriétaire a toutefois répondu rapidement lorsque je l’ai prévenu du bruit, mais la situation restait désagréable.

• adele (1/5): Avoid - Location, as pretty close to tube station, would be the only real good thing about the place. Host comes across, at first impression, as a very nice one. However he seems to struggle with English language. This place is a scam. The photos are completely staged and do not reflect reality. Facilities listed in the ad were simply made up, and nothing matched what was promised. On top of that, the property was dirty, neglected, and unacceptable for paying guests. It felt like a deliberate attempt to trick travelers rather than an honest mistake. Bed bugs and dirty towels to top up the already embarrassing situation. Do yourself a favor and avoid this B&B. There are far better and trustworthy options nearby — don’t waste your time or money here.

It was disappointing to have such a (?) queens bed especially when I had to accommodate my parents. Also the description should have been right. The room was on the top floor with narrow steps and consideration to provide on the ground floor( which was requested at the site) could have helped us a great deal.

The property boasts having access to a kitchen, washing machine and TV. We were told that we couldn’t use the kitchen or washing machine and the TV didn’t work - every channel was static, nothing working. Overall it’s a fraud and when I asked for a refund he refused, as did Booking.com.
